Chapter 1744: Chapter 1763: Growth

Quite a few people are going to the art academy in N Province to see it.

“Hurry, open it and take a look.”

Dai Jinhai didn’t hesitate, he opened the box directly and inside was indeed a painting. A freshly painted work, not even yet frad, just loosely rolled and placed in the box.

Everyone held their breath, each person nervously staring at the painting.

Now Jiang Nanfei is blind and probably won’t be able to paint anymore, even if she does she won’t reach her previous level, so this is likely her last artwork.

How could everyone not be nervous?

Perhaps influenced by the atmosphere, Dai Jinhai’s hand holding the painting was trembling slightly. He slowly unrolled the painting as the image gradually unfolded before everyone. The entire office fell silent, followed by the sound of people nervously swallowing.

“This… this…”

Finally, soone couldn’t help but murmur in surprise.

“Did Jiang Nanfei paint this?”

“It’s completely different from her previous style.”

“Moreover, it has a stronger expressiveness and emotional impact than her previous style.”

Everyone fixed their eyes tightly on the painting, wishing they could burn a hole into it with their gaze. The scene depicted is one of post-war devastation, a desolate image, ruined hos, and two children playing atop the ruins.

The most striking elent is the children’s eyes; one pair is clear and bright, pure and beautiful. Filled with a longing for life, brimming with the carefree innocence of childhood, forming a stark contrast with the brutal surrounding scene.

Yet what is more astonishing is not this little boy, but the other one. The other little boy in the painting is none other than Emil. Nan Fei brought Emil to life on the canvas, allowing one to imdiately perceive what kind of little boy this is.

Beautiful, adorable, yet also sly and shrewd, carrying a child’s cruelty. At the sa ti, he possesses a child’s naivety, and no one could possibly imagine how such a combination of maturity and cunning with innocence and beauty could exist in one child.

Furthermore, how old is he?

Four? Or five?

No one believes that such a contradictory and unique boy could truly exist in the world. He seems as though he was intentionally crafted from Greek mythology, carrying so implicit revelation or satirical significance.

The impact of such a boy appearing alongside another in the sa picture is even more striking.

The entire image hits you straight in the heart, making it impossible to hold back tears.

At so point, the professors in the office began wiping their tears silently. At that mont, Dai Jinhai seed significantly aged, yet sohow he wasn’t; his eyes shone brightly, dazzlingly so.

“This is painted by my precious pupil after she beca blind.” His deep understanding of Nan Fei allowed him to recognize it at a glance, his tone filled with imnse pride and relief. “The setback didn’t bring her down; instead, it made her grow to such an astounding degree.”

Before, Nan Fei’s paintings, in terms of both technique and emotion, were already astonishing. This level of artistry shouldn’t have appeared in soone so young. But now her paintings have reached yet another level.

The difference between Nan Fei’s past and present works is quite significant.

They lacked such intense emotions, imaginative creativity, and striking versatility.

“Old Dai, congratulations! You’ve found such a treasured pupil.”
