"Who are you looking for?" Burbank showed a playful smile.
"Ding Jiaqi," Chen Jing repeated, "the Ding Jiaqi who was with . You... you didn’t forget her, did you?" Back in the town, Ding Jiaqi had severely offended Burbank.
What she feared most now was whether Burbank would take advantage of the situation and retaliate against Ding Jiaqi while no one was paying attention.
That would be troubleso.
"Oh!" Burbank laughed gloatingly, "She’s been locked up, in the sa place you were held before."
"What?" Chen Jing was thunderstruck, anxiously saying, "How... how did she get locked up? What did you... what did you do to her?"
"Don’t look at like that," Burbank said irritably, "Though I do hold grudges, Ding Jiaqi wasn’t locked up by ." If it weren’t for the fact that this brat had decent dical skills and his second brother valued her, he wouldn’t have bothered wasting ti here!
"Who else could it be besides you?" Even though Ding Jiaqi’s personality could be annoying at tis, she was fundantally kind. No one would truly hold a grudge against her and lock her up.
"Here, who else has the authority to lock her up besides you?" Chen Jing, in her urgency, didn’t bother to mind her tone.
But Burbank didn’t care, he replied with a smirk, "You’re right, who else but ?"
Chen Jing was terrified, and couldn’t help but cover her mouth with her hands, tremblingly saying after a while, "Is... is it the Tyrant?" How terrifying! If it was the Tyrant, who knew what condition Ding Jiaqi was in now!
"No," Burbank shook his head smugly.
Whenever he thought about Ding Jiaqi being locked up by his second brother, he felt a sense of relief. That damned woman had been arrogant, relying on his second brother’s support to do whatever she pleased, and even dared to threaten him. Well, now she’ll taste her own dicine, locked up by his second brother’s direct order.
Now, no one in the entire Regular Army could rescue Ding Jiaqi from there.
"Then who else could it be? Besides you and the Tyrant..." Chen Jing instinctively lowered her voice when she ntioned the Tyrant, fearing soone might overhear. Having been in Kannaya long enough, she knew well the Tyrant’s reputation and brutality.
If soone heard her, she’d be finished!
But in her carefulness, Chen Jing forgot the most threatening person. After all, Burbank was the Tyrant’s cousin, the third-in-command of the Regular Army, the Tyrant’s true confidant.

Chen Jing’s face turned ghastly pale; she didn’t even notice when Burbank had left. After she snapped back to reality, she imdiately ran to the place where they had first been imprisoned. Fortunately, due to her excellent surgical skills and the second-in-command’s regard, her status here was entirely different than before.
Upon reaching the detention area, no one tried to stop her.
