"It’s too late." Nan Fei shook her head. "The entire town is surrounded." She could hear the tight encirclent closing in from all directions, leaving no gaps for escape. Even the three won who fled monts ago had been captured.

"How many people were saved?"
"The majority." His expression was stern as he spoke, "Even though we saved them, we’re trapped and can’t leave."
"What was last night’s chaos all about?"
"It was a counterattack staged by the second-in-command of the Kaka Military Group. This town was their first target to seize." Xing Yu analyzed the intel he’d gathered. "We’re caught in the middle and might be arrested as rebel forces."
Regret crossed his mind for not taking Nan Fei away last night.
