When she ca in from outside and the switch was flipped again, the classroom fell into an eerie silence.
Duan Yuang’s gaze fell on Nan Fei with a complexity before he eventually mustered the courage to walk up to her. Just as he was about to call her out for a talk, Xing Yu appeared at the doorway of the classroom.

“You don’t understand!” Duan Yuang forced a laughed through tears, “You’ve seen how Jiang Nanfei operates; her actual behavior is far from straightforward and easy-going.”
Lin Jiang raised an eyebrow, tightened his arm around Duan Yuang’s shoulder, and his mind began forming its own agenda.
Indeed, just now, the majority of the classmates’ attitude towards Jiang Nanfei left him quite unhappy. He wanted to speak up for her, but they were not close acquaintances. Jiang Nanfei was mostly solitary at school, having dealings only with Duan Yuang; she hardly spoke to anyone else.
