Chapter 1363: Chapter 1382: The Action Begins
Leng Peixi’s proposal for her to escape now and leave this place to go abroad seems good, but it would also ruin her entire life. She still had vengeance to take that was saved for the end; there were still things she wanted to do that she hadn’t done.
How could she leave!
She had unique advantages now, but on second thought, neither the ntal hospital nor prison was an easy place to live. Yet however hard it might be, could it be worse than her childhood at Jiang ili’s ho?
And she was eagerly looking forward to how her sister would face her when she got out of prison.
There would definitely be a conclusion by then.
She had been careless before, but she certainly wouldn’t be in the future.

The simultaneous actions of Team One and Team Nine was absolutely unprecedented in the fifteen-year history of the Imperial City Police Departnt. The differences were too vast, the cases they handled were different, not to ntion other factors such as abilities. However, everything changed when Ying Jiuming was transferred to Team Nine.
At this mont, the captains of Team One and Team Nine sitting together in a police car made the atmosphere inside incredibly peculiar. Everyone was looking at each other, their gazes finally resting on Yu Fengji and Ying Jiuming before shifting away in unison.
Yu Fengji remained indifferent, as if completely unaware of the others. He frowned throughout, his handso eyebrows knitting together as he stared intensely out the car window.
Sitting beside him, Ying Jiuming also seed deep in thought, pondering how to interrogate Jiang Zhuanzhuan after finding the box at Nan Fei’s place, what thods to use, and if she refused to confess or cooperate, whether or not he should treat her like other criminals.
It was irritating.
In his many years as a policeman, this was the first ti Ying Jiuming felt displeased in his heart when facing a criminal.
“Boss, what’s wrong?” a mber of Team Nine asked softly.
“Nothing.” Ying Jiuming ca back to his senses, only then noticing that Yu Fengji’s expression was even uglier than his. Elbowing him, he asked doubtfully, “What are you thinking about? You’re not close to Jiang Zhuanzhuan, is there a need to be troubled?”
“I’m wondering what Xin Wu will do now that Wei Qin is dead,” Yu Fengji blurted out subconsciously, realizing only after he spoke that he had voiced his inner thoughts. Everyone in the car looked at him with shock and bewildernt.
His deputy captain even boldly asked, “Commander Yu, who is Xin Wu? Is it a man or a woman?”
“What does it matter to you whether it’s a man or a woman?” Yu Fengji said irritably.
“Of course, it’s very important,” the deputy captain stated pompously: “If it’s a man, we’ll pretend that we didn’t hear what you just said, and nobody would want to listen anyway. But if it’s a woman, that’s huge news, because you, commander, have never been involved with that woman.”
“Yes, yes, exactly!”
“Commander Yu, is it a man or a woman?”
Everyone chid in one after another.
Soone speculated, “I guess it must be a man, the na sounds like a man’s.”
No sooner had these words been spoken than everyone unanimously rolled their eyes at him.
“Don’t be a wet blanket!”
“Exactly, at least give us a glimr of hope.”
Ying Jiuming, who had been treated as if he were invisible, raised an eyebrow. He was a living person sitting right there; wouldn’t anyone ask him? Fine! If no one asked, then he would take the initiative to spill the beans. It was quite novel to have a chance to talk about Yu Fengji’s affairs.
Just as Ying Jiuming was about to speak, Yu Fengji gave him a cold look, and he imdiately shut his mouth. His position wasn’t as high as Yu Fengji’s, nor was his seniority as great; it was better to offend him less.
