Chapter 1349: Chapter 1368: Selected

“But if she doesn’t speak up, she would bla herself for her selfishness, and she feared leaving Xin Wu with regrets.”

“What’s wrong?” Fu Xinwu nervously pressed: “What do you want to tell ? Just say it, why are you hesitating?”

“Wei Qin…”

Before Nan Fei could finish, Fu Xinwu interrupted anxiously and unhappily: “Is it true that Wei Qin has really taken a liking to Wang Yunyun? So now he’s co to you to plead on behalf of Wang Yunyun?”

Tears almost uncontrollably welled up in Nan Fei’s eyes upon hearing this.

This silly girl, so easily deceived.

“It’s not that!” Nan Fei said with a heavy emotion: “I think we should go see Wei Qin, he might not be doing well…” That’s the feeling Wei Qin gave her today.

Fu Xinwu was like struck by lightning, her expression dull, it took her a long mont to recover.

“What… what did you say?” Fu Xinwu’s body staggered and stepped back, luckily a large landscape tree was behind her, otherwise she would have definitely fallen.

“Let’s go and have a look!”

“It can’t be true, can it?” Fu Xinwu, in her urgency, grabbed the collar of Nan Fei’s down jacket, her eyes quickly reddened, “Don’t scare ! Nan Fei you must be trying to scare . How can he be unwell? He has the energy to take Wang Yunyun out for als, he didn’t need to be hospitalized after returning from Sui County…”

Fu Xinwu’s words ca to an abrupt stop, then her face was filled with an undeniable and horrific dismay. Tears fell in a rush, followed by a torrent of tears.

At that mont, she suddenly thought of sothing she had always overlooked.

Wei Qin’s body shouldn’t have gone to Sui County in the first place. After returning from Sui County, he should have been hospitalized imdiately for observation and treatnt. Moreover, he had been checking into the hospital every week for many years, but he hadn’t gone for a check-up at all recently.

This was highly abnormal.

Did he know that he couldn’t hold on any longer? Did the advisor also know? Did everyone know, yet they acted as if nothing was wrong, keeping her in the dark?

Fu Xinwu pushed Nan Fei away and turned to run desperately towards the outside of the campus. The goose feather-like snow had already covered the ground thickly. The cold and slippery conditions made her rush too much, causing her to fall several tis within a few dozen ters.

Nan Fei quickly followed, helping her up, and shouted loudly: “Don’t panic, it might be nothing! Your car is here; I’ll drive.”

After finishing her words, Nan Fei regretted it, she rembered that last ti suddenly not being able to see and how she wasn’t suitable to drive anymore. Fu Xinwu, in her current state, shouldn’t be driving either. In her urgency, she caught a glimpse of Xing Yu standing not far away. She waved at him hurriedly, shouting: “Xing Yu!”

“What’s wrong?” Xing Yu quickly approached; actually, he had been waiting nearby all along.

Nan Fei’s matter had blown up this big, he worried she wouldn’t be able to handle it, having heard she was called to the office he had been waiting for the outco!

“Can you drive?”

“I can!”

“Then please, could you drive us sowhere? Xin Wu’s car is parked in the school’s parking lot.”

“Okay!” Xing Yu glanced at Fu Xinwu and agreed without saying anything more.

Ji Changfeng, who ca out from the office later, stood under the eaves of the teaching building with his assistant, watching through the fluttering snowflakes the rapidly departing silhouettes of the three people. As the twilight set in, warm yellow street lights had already been lit up around the campus.

The warm glow of the street lights shone on Nan Fei’s calm and exquisite side face, casting her snow-like skin in a beautifully stunning manner like an extraordinary masterpiece.

Magnificent and captivating, making it impossible to look away.
