Chapter 1106: Chapter 1105: Questioning Chapter 1106: Chapter 1105: Questioning He Shasha lived in the guesthouse of the 36th Division, and after having dinner in the cafeteria, she didn’t even return to her room but took a stroll around the lobby instead. Despite her usually careless deanor, she was actually quite sensitive, especially cautious after suffering a loss from Jing Tong. She paid extra attention to everything.

So things, even if not noticed at the ti, would reveal hints upon later reflection.

Especially Leng Ran’s visit today.

She didn’t want Nan Fei to overthink, so she had kept quiet at the mont, but that didn’t an she was clueless.

Leng Ran wasn’t that close to Nan Fei at school; if anyone, she was more familiar with herself. He claid he was there to see them, but then ended up speaking to Nan Fei alone.

And after he left, although Nan Fei said nothing, her mood was clearly off.

He Shasha thought it over and over and just couldn’t shake off the discomfort. In the end, she borrowed the phone from the reception to call Leng Ran.

The phone connected, but it was a man’s voice that ca through.

“Who are you looking for?”

“I’m looking for Leng Ran.” He Shasha bit her lip, suppressing the discomfort in her heart.

A snicker ca through the phone, followed by silence. About two minutes later, Leng Ran’s calm voice could be heard.

“This is Leng Ran, may I ask who’s calling?”

“It’s !” He Shasha got provoked by Leng Ran’s tone, which was a regular reason for their past argunts. One was a quick-tempered firecracker, ready to explode at a touch, the other was like placid water in a pond, hardly causing a ripple.

And just Leng Rui had the idea of bringing her and Leng Ran together.

“What’s up? What made you think to call ?” Leng Ran was taken aback, promptly noting the edge in He Shasha’s voice and couldn’t help but silently chuckle.

After knowing her for so many years, he realized he didn’t compare to Jian Nanfei’s re one-year acquaintance.

“I want to ask what you said to Nan Fei today?”

“I didn’t say anything!” Leng Ran didn’t want to drag He Shasha into it, and if it weren’t for the fear of He Shasha detecting it, she would have even warned He Shasha to stay away from Jiang Nanfei.

To avoid getting involved later.

He Shasha suddenly beca furious, “Leng Ran, do you take for a fool? Or do you think just because my na is He Shasha, I’m He Silly?” Thinking she could be deceived without even a reasonable excuse.

“Heh…” Leng Ran laughed over the phone, her voice dripping with sarcasm, “What, have you actually beco smarter by following Jiang Nanfei?”

He Shasha was stung by her words and didn’t speak for a long ti. Although she often argued and even fought with Leng Ran before, Leng Ran had never spoken to her in this tone.

“Leng Ran, have you changed?” He Shasha inhaled sharply, annoyed, “You weren’t like this before.”

“It’s not who’s changed, it’s you. Haven’t you noticed how much you’ve changed since you started hanging out with Jiang Nanfei? You never used to be so obedient.”

After the sarcastic comnt, Leng Ran paused briefly before adding, “Of course, you were never as hardworking before either.”

He Shasha’s grip on the phone tightened until her knuckles turned white. She had always thought of Leng Ran as soone cold by nature with a sharp tongue but a good heart.

But she hadn’t expected to be so blind once again.

“Do you have the nerve to scold ?” He Shasha swallowed her disappointnt and fury, her words cutting like a knife, “Where do you get the gall? Who do you think you are?”

“Are you picking a fight with ?” Leng Ran asked, her voice as cold as ice.
