Cheng Su listened to what Qi Xiaoqi said and felt uneasy. She got up, put on a cotton robe, and walked to the living room to make a phone call.

The clock on the wall showed it was already eleven o’clock. She wondered if Qi Taiguo was in the office?

She dialed the number, and the phone kept ringing. Cheng Su felt a bit disappointed; it seemed he wasn’t in the office.

"What is Chiang Qing trying to do?" Qi Taiguo’s face immediately turned furious.

No one can stay calm hearing that their wife and children might be under threat.

"You’d have to ask her to know!" Cheng Su chuckled lightly, "Anyway, this proves that this woman hasn’t given up yet. It’s all your fault..."

Even though she was feigning anger, Cheng Su had to say it, or she’d feel unfortable.

"Tell me, you’re just a poor guy with no status or background. How did you manage to get a rich young lady so fixated on you? What kind of karma did you have in a past life to get mixed up with her?" Cheng Su teased.

"Susu..." Qi Taiguo laughed helplessly and said, "If we’re talking about past lives, that’s something you’d know better! What exactly happened?"
