At the door, a man in his mid-40s stood as soon as Yuan ng opened the door of their house,
Just a while ago, they had heard the bell ring and so ca to see who it was.

She didn't understand why was this unknown man even looking at her with a piteous gaze.
She was sure that she had never t him before this week and never had she even spoken even a word with him.
But even then this man made her feel that he had known her for a long ti, but she didn't even know him even in the slightest.

"May I have a few words with Mr Ye?"

Yuan ng nodded as she was about to call for Ye Qian.

Just this thought alone would be enough to bring anyone to be so overwheld that they would rather beco a self that was just disordered and sotis even lose their sense of affection for anyone.
But rather than being depressed, Yuan ng had been taking care of her daughter just like any normal mother would while also hiding the pain and reluctance in her heart of losing her husband and everyone who was ever dear to her.
Although her condition was much better and she looked to be getting healthier with each day now, Le Zheng had seen Yuan ng for all these 5 years when Ye Qian was away, so he was clear as to what were the things that his Eldest Miss had gone through.
Seeing her current condition, Le Zheng felt so relief.
Although he had seen Yuan ng from afar these days and knew that she was only getting better, both in health and ntal state, seeing her upfront had made his heart to swell a bit with joy.
Although he had been watching and keeping Yuan ng from troubles from the shadows, it was still not enough to make a peace with his heart.
It was not because he felt sothing or had any kind of relationship with her, but because he had seen the conditions in which Yuan ng used to stay and felt pity for her and along with the promise that the Old Master of the Yuan family who had asked him, there was no way that he would not disregard it.
"You don't have to worry about ngng, since she is my wife, I will keep her safe from all the bad things and even happy all her life."

All that he had was gentleness and care for her.

Le Zheng turned to Ye Qian and nodded, he didn't seem to know just what he should say to Ye Qian in response to his self-bla.
