Hearing that the girls already had eaten lots of cookies, Grandma Yan gave a forced smile and went to wash the three while helping them with the changing clothes.

anwhile, in the City High School.

"Sister ng, uncle should be fine right?"

Ning Wei asked in worry.

This was the second break and The two had just finished their snack which Grandma Yan had made for them.

"Hmm, he should be, Mom said that he would be fine after taking a rest."

Giving another thought, Yuan ng said.

"Maybe his back hurts because he still uses the old tractor."

"Hmm, that might be the reason for his back pain."

Ning Wei nodded while she packed the tiffin.

"Sigh, why does he still need to drive, can't he just ask soone else?"

Hearing her, Yuan ng turned silent and held her head low.

"It's because of the money."

She knew that with the climatic conditions these few years, their farms also had not produced enough grains.

Ye Qian's father was a well enough farr and had a lot of land which was cultivated through generations of the Ye family and passed on.

But these few years, due to the change in climatic conditions, the harvest could barely overco the expenses spent on the irrigation.

And that was also the reason why Yuan ng wanted to co and work in the city, thinking that she would be able to get so money to help her parents-in-law with this predicant.

Ning Wei nodded but didn't say anything, she knew the reason for Yuan ng to co to the city when she could have been able to stay with them.

"But didn't Qian do anything to help him?"

Ning Wei suddenly thought.

"Umm, no, Qian'er didn't say anything or didn't even do anything to Dad."

Yuan ng shook her head and they walked to the table.

"I an, he knows that magic right, then why didn't he cure him, it should be easy for him."

Ning Wei wondered if she had heard from Jiao about Ye Qian removing the parasite from Yuan ng's mind, and even helping Xiao Ya to remove that egg, while he massaged them which was a lot of relief for the two ladies.

But now, his father seed to have been in pain, but Ye Qian didn't do anything.

She couldn't help but feel that there was not sothing right.

"Hmm, maybe he has sothing in his mind?"

Yuan ng pursed her lips and then started fiddling with her phone.

"Sister Wei, Qian'er gave this gift."

During the lunch break before, the two were in much hurry and finished the lunch in haste since they arrived late.

But now that they had so leisure ti, Yuan ng being a woman wanted to show off.

No matter how one was, a woman would always feel proud when her love gifted her sothing.

And she knew that there was no one else who would feel happy for her other than Ning Wei.

anwhile, as Yuan ng pocketed the mobile from her pocket, the eyes of the nearby won were filled with shock at first and then with envy.

"Wow, this looked really good."

Ning Wei took the smartphone and taking a glance at it nodded while feeling a tide of emotions in her heart.

She was happy for Yuan ng, but also a bit envious of her.

Of course, not because she had such an expensive thing but because she could understand that this was specially chosen by Ye Qian for Yuan ng.

Holding the device in her hand, Ning Wei's expression seed to be changing.

And Yuan ng could see them very well.

"Sister Wei, why didn't you wear the jewellery Ye Qian made for you?"

She had wanted to ask this since yesterday, she herself had given the silk bag to Ning Wei, but she didn't wear them at all.

What Yuan ng didn't know was that no matter how much Ning Wei wanted to wear it, she restrained herself from doing so.

For her, if she were to keep on wearing the jewellery made by Ye Qian, then she would constantly rember him and won't be able to remove him from her mind.

"Umm, I don't really like wearing many jewelleries."

Ning Wei forced a smile on her face as she handed the phone to Yuan ng while her other hand clutched into a tight fist.

Seeing her, Yuan ng nodded but deep in her heart, she couldn't help but sigh.

'Sister Wei, which woman in this world would not like wearing ornants?'

But she didn't ponder knowing that it would only make her more sad.

"Alright, I still have so work to do."

Ning Wei tried to excuse herself.

Yuan ng frowned and squinted her eyes at the chair which was opposite to that of hers.

"Where is that guy, all he got was a small cut and he still hasn't co back yet."

If Yang Kun was here, he might have surely denied it, because he clearly knew the pain he had suffered yesterday.

"Let it be Sister ng, everything happens for the good, maybe this is a chance for to...."

She trailed off not saying further.

"RING"

The bell rang and the teachers who were whispering amongst themselves about Yuan ng stopped and started going to their classes.

"I will go now, let's go back ho later."

Yuan ng stood up and walked out while holding so books.

"Hmm, that would be better."

Ning Wei sighed as she was the only person left in the whole staffroom.

"It is very hard to control yourself when you love but know that it is not possible."

Ning Wei sighed and stood up.

All day, she only had rest for so while during the lunch breaks and all of her schedules were jamd due to having to attend Yang Kun's classes as well.

Right now, she was completely drained both ntally and physically.

And upon that, Yuan ng showed her the gift that Ye Qian gave to her.
