Ye Qian thought as his hands started shivering from fright.

The little girl cried once more before her expressions turned blank and she let go of Yuan ng's hand.
Seeing her suddenly stop, Yuan ng's heart was filled with fear as she glanced at Ye Qian who was still shivering in worry.
"Qian'er is she alright?"
"Hmm, she will be in no ti."
With a wry smile, Ye Qian nodded as he sighed in relief.
It was not as easy as before for him to shut soone's mory of a specific ti.

After a mont of silence, Yuan ng and Ning Wei heard Little Qiqi's light moan as if she was waking up from her sleep, while a pleasant smile appeared on her lips.

But not finding what she was searching for, she pouted her lips and started searching around once again.
Ye Qian smiled gently while he extended his finger towards her.
As soon as the little girl's fingers touched his, her pout vanished into nothing and she grinned and held Ye Qian's finger tightly.
Looking at this, Yuan ng and Ning Wei both sighed in relief and smiled at each other.
Ye Qian smiled while trying to pull his finger but the little girl won't leave him.
"Let her hold it for a while, you deserve it."
Yuan ng said with a pleased smile and then turned to Ning Wei while asking about what happened after she went unconscious.
For her, though she knew that she was anything but unconscious, Yuan ng didn't want to make Ning Wei afraid or feel wary about it.
Ning Wei glanced at Ye Qian, she knew that if she were to tell everything that Ye Qian did to save Yuan ng, her Sister ng would only feel bad.
"Umm that, Sister ng, let what has already happened to be in the past, you shouldn't be thinking much about it."
Ning Wei smiled wryly while noticing Ye Qian's slight shake of his head.
"Hmm."
Yuan ng could only nod in reverence.
She understood that Ye Qian would have done a lot to bring her back, but she didn't want him to know that she knew about this.
She was grateful for all that she was given one more chance, that was what she would ask for.
And she didn't want Ye Qian to feel the guilt of all that had happened, so it was only better if she didn't know anything that happened after she fell in much detail.
She was contented with what she had now.
"CHEEP CHEEP."
After a mont of silence, a shrill chirp was heard.
Yuan ng and Ning Wei looked around only to see that the little sparrow was flying above their heads and chirping as if in joy as she flew to Ye Qian.
Ye Qian patted the little thing's head and thanked it.
"Thank you."
Yuan ng and Ning Wei were confused as to why Ye Qian was thanking the little sparrow.
According to them, the bird was nowhere to be seen while all this happened.
But little did they know that if not for the little thing things would have gotten way out of anyone's grasp.
If not for her it would have been really hard for anyone to survive what might have happened if not for her.
Though the two knew that the little sparrow was not like any ordinary sparrow that they had ever seen and there was sothing different and frightening about her, they still felt that compared to so people they knew the sparrow was innocent, just like their little girls.
"Qian'er..."
Not able to stop herself from questioning, Yuan ng finally asked.
"This little one was the reason why I was not able to harm Wei or the little girls."
Ye Qian smiled wryly while thinking what would have been the condition if not for her.
"AHHHH"
The two ladies gasped a mouthful of cold air after hearing Ye Qian's words.
Ning Wei had thought that maybe Ye Qian was not able to sense due to certain control over himself.
But knowing that even she and the little girls might have been hard just like Yuan ng, her back was filled with cold sweat in a matter of monts.
"She had ford a layer of impassable heat around you making unable to sense anyone of you."
Ye Qian continued as he rubbed the bird's neck with his thumb.
"CHIRP CHIRP"
The little thing purred in delight and pecked his thumb.
"Then does that an, if I hadn't got close to you then you might have never known that I was even there?"
Yuan ng muttered in a daze while she glanced at the little bird.
"CHEP CHEEP"
But before Ye Qian could reply the little thing chirped and nodded her head and then flew onto Yuan ng's palm.
"SIGH"
"If only I have known."
Yuan ng sighed and shook her head.
"CHEEP"
The little thing pecked her palm as if saying her not to feel sad.
'Hmm, thank you for taking of them."
Yuan ng's face turned bright as she patted the little thing's head.
"PURR"
The bird shook her head and then started pecking onto the heads of the little girls one by one.
"UMMMUUU"
"HMMM"
"MUMMA"
