In the bedroom.

Ye Qian stared at his hand with a wry smile on his lips.

This was the hand that Little Qiqi slapped away on instinct.

Ye Qian found it really weird.

Just half an hour ago the little girl was earning more of his love and care, but now.

She even rejected his touch even when she was unconscious.

What would be more heart wrecking than this feeling?

Ye Qian rembers the first ti Little Qiqi saw him, she ran into his arms while calling him with a beaming smile.

But now even if he were to touch her, she would get displaced.

"This is ironic."

Ye Qian chuckled lightly but he was not able to hide his pained expression from Yuan ng and Ning Wei.

"Sister ng, he..."

Ning Wei called out hearing his laugh and tears in his eyes.

The look was so maddening that it was even more gloomy than when he was not in control of his body.

"He is just feeling bad."

Yuan ng's heart ached to hear Ye Qian's laugh.

She knew Ye Qian clearly enough to know what he was thinking of even if she didn't know any kind of cultivation.

The laugh was just a way for him to show his pain but he was not able to hide it from her.

"Ye Qian, don't feel sad, it is no you that Qiqi dislikes."

Yuan ng said lightly as she caressed the little girl's face.

The little girl's face softened after she was taken by Yuan ng.

Clearly, she could distinguish between the different touches.

And even though Ye Qian had only t her 3 days ago, she knew his thought clearly.

That was how much he mattered to her before.

But now, it could not be said as the sa.

"No, ngng, I am not sad, see, I am laughing."

"Hahahaha."

"Haha"

"Ha."

Ye Qian chuckled a few tis but as many tis he laughed tears continued to fall down his cheeks.

And finally, his laughter completely died and all that remained on his face was tears and a wronged look.

"Qian'er, you know that it was not you, stop blaming it on yourself for this."

Yuan ng bit on her lips and continued.

"See, do you really think that our little girl would be angry with you for any reason."

Yuan ng caressed the little girl's face and showed the simple yet beautiful smile on her face to Ye Qian.

"Hmm."

"I know, but..."

Ye Qian's lips curved into a gentle smile looking at Little Qiqi's face as he tried to continue.

"There is no but, Qiqi always wanted you, why do you think she would get angry with you, that might be just because of the situation, but didn't you bring back."

Yuan ng stopped him from saying anything while placing her finger on her lips and continued while looking at Little Qiqi.

"She doesn't have any reason for getting angry now."

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded.

"Now erase her mory of what happened, I don't want my child to rember such things."

Yuan ng muttered while caressing Little Qiqi's cheeks.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded and then placed his hand on the little girl's glabella.

At first, the little girl frowned making Ye Qian pull his hand back.

Yuan ng caressed the little girl's face with one hand and then pulled Ye Qian's hand with her other.

"UUMMM"

The frown on Little Qiqi's face eased and she humd.

Ye Qian placed his hand again on her glabella but his ti there was no reaction from the little girl.

Ye Qian sighed and closed his eyes while he continued to make hand signs in the air.

In just a minute Little Qiqi's head was also covered in sweat as she cried a couple of tis while calling for her Mumma.

But since Yuan ng was close to her, she would stop crying right away after a mont of persuasion.

Though the little girl was still unconscious, she didn't seem to be letting the image of her father holding her mother's neck go away.

It had clearly impacted her a lot than what Ye Qian had thought.

But her not wanting to leave this mory only made things difficult for Ye Qian.

Since it was much more tedious or it might harm the little girl in not just a way or two, but more than that.

As the saying goes, mories are what makes a person.

If the little girl lost so of the mories that have a great reflection on Little Qiqi's character, then it would make her a completely different person.

Ye Qian gasped and tried his utmost as to not cause any harm to her while still removing all of today's mories.

After a couple of minutes, Ye Qian's forehead was completely drenched in sweat.

And that was not because he was feeling hot or sothing, but the situation was also sothing that he didn't dare to take any chances with it was because the one whose life was in danger would be none other than his own daughter.

Ye Qian sighed and shook his head.

'I can't let her rember this incident, this will harm her a lot.'

'It would be better if I can just shut her mory if I am not able to remove it.'

'Hmm, that would still be fine, later I will try to find a way to remove it completely.'

Ye Qian muttered to himself while seeing the change in expressions of the little girl's face.

Though Yuan ng was holding her trying to console her all the ti, there was still a light frown on her face and a painful look.

Of course, Ye Qian understood that the little girl was subconsciously resisting to lose this mory.

Even if it was painful, this was the last mory of her mother for her, how would she be able to let go of it.

Little Qiqi's face was twitching as she continued to resist from losing her last mory of her Mumma.
