The birthday hall was completely silent.

Ji was staring at Yuan ng's hand in which she was holding a silk small silk bag and had opened it.

It was not only her but there were many young n and won who were staring at the silk bag with their eyes wide open without even blinking for a mont.

Everyone was interested to know what would she have brought that made Ji ask her so much for a gift.

To them, she might have brought so fake pendant or so other jewellery but after seeing the excitent with which Ji was asking for a gift from Yuan ng, everyone began to doubt their thoughts.

All the ti, when the big bosses of the Shenzhen and cities around it were giving Ji so gifts of gold and other expensive jewellery, she was never excited so much but now she was completely different.

Ye Qian was also looking at the small bag in Yuan ng's hand and wondered as to what was in it that would make Ji so much excited.

Yuan ng c brought sothing out of the small bag but closed her palm and turned to Ji.

"Close your eyes."

She whispered lightly.

"Hmm."

Ji nodded without saying a word and closed her eyes.

Yuan ng brought her palm in front of her and opened it while saying.

"Open them."

"TCHH"

Many n and won shook their and glanced at the small thing in Yuan ng's hand.

Obviously, they were mocking Yuan ng's gift.

The one gift in Yuan ng's hand didn't even seem to be worth a percent of any of the gifts which they had gifted Ji for her birthday.

Now all they wanted to see was a drama where Ye Qian and Yuan ng would be thrown out of the hall for disgracing the Young Miss of the Yuan family.

'Heh, you think that piece of scrap is even worth a glass of wine which you two just had?'

'Peasants will always be peasants, no matter how much they climb.'

Many were already mocking in their heart and looked down at Yuan ng and Ye Qian in disdain.

But so of them had a different thought in their mind.

'When they are thrown out, I will try to give that girl so pity, there is no way she won't feel sad after getting embarrassed in front of so many people.'

'Yeah, this might be a golden opportunity to have a taste of a forbidden fruit.'

Many young masters were already dreaming of how they would be like a worrier on a horse coming to rescue a princess when Yuan ng would be about to be kicked out for embarrassing Ji.

Ji opened her eyes and as if she appeared to be shocked she continuously stared at the small ornant which had a beautiful swan-like design on it.

She then looked at Yuan ng her lips trembling as if she wanted to say sothing but words were not coming out of her mouth.

Her gaze alternated between Yuan ng and the white brooch in her hand.

'Heh, she is so angry that she has started to tremble from it.'

'That woman, though she had a beauty compared to that of a mythical fairy, she really has no thought of how the society works.'

'If soone were to give such a puny thing to a great person, then of course the person would be angered.'

'What a pity, the saying is indeed true, a too beautiful woman might lack so reasoning and intellect.'

Many n were already sighing as they thought of the sa thing.

Now all of them were just waiting for, the Young Miss of the Yuan family to shout at the couple and order her n to throw them out.

'This lady doesn't know that miss Ji would lose so much face if she were to receive that gift of hers.'

'It would have been better if she hadn't given anything to her.'

Many young masters were already readying themselves to how they should convince and make Yuan ng fall in their hands.

And like this, a whole 2 minutes passed but Ji didn't utter a word.

Many Young masters were already looking desperate, as they had been thinking too much of how they would convince this beauty but the more ti they got the more they thought and the more confused they started to get when thinking if that plan of there would work.

Ye Qian was also looking at Ji and Yuan ng all the ti.

And since he was closest to them, he could see that there was a sense of longing and love in Ji's eyes as she stared at the Brooch in Yuan ng's hand.

He also wondered as to what would be sothing that would make Ji feel so emotional that she would have tears in her eyes.

He had known her for so ti.

She was a bit childish girl who wanted to be spoiled and Yuan ng would always spoil her like a Big Sister, he felt that maybe the two would have known each other for a long ti and that was why they had a very close relationship.

And at that ti when he first t Ji when she was being forced upon by that Li fellow, there were no tears in her eyes but only anger, usually if a woman was being forced she would fall into despair and would cry, but Ji was just angry.

And Yuan ng also had a simple yet motherly smile on her lips as she saw the change in Ji's emotions.

The young masters who had been waiting for their imaginations to turn into reality were holding their breaths and in a few more monts they would for sure suffocate from not breathing.

Ji extended her hand which was trembling slightly at Yuan ng.

'Yes, now she will be slapped for belittling her with giving her such a petty gift.'

But what they all have been dreaming of never happened.
