Back at Little Qiqi's Kindergarten.
The bell rang, signalling the release of the children who soon packed their small bags and started forming a queue before following their class teacher out of the room and towards the building entrance.
The children would be released according to their classes, starting from the playgroup to the kindergarten.
And since there were many classes, students of the sa grade would be released simultaneously by their respective class teachers to the children's parents or guardians, which they were already aware of.
Of course, if it was before, Xiao Ya's grandfather would co to receive her, while Little Qiqi would wait with Wu Ying who would then later drop her to the old age ho.
But now things were different.
"Luo Ya's parents."
Miss Nan, Xiao Ya's class teacher called out, gazing around in the small crowd of parents.
"I am here."
Hearing the voice of her Dad the little girl looked at her teacher with a wide grin, who released her hand and let the little girl walk down the stairs.
"Luo Ya, make sure to do your howork." the teacher reminded.
It was because although the little girl had done her howork, she had been so tired that she left a few questions blank.
"Sorry teacher, Xiao Ya went out to et her grandparents so she couldn't do her howork completely."
Ye Qian apologized as he picked up the little girl, who quickly wrapped her hands around his neck, and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"It's alright, she is making good progress in calculations and I don't have any reason to bla her."
Miss Nan waved her hand and smiled after seeing the little girl full of smiles, sothing that she hadn't seen often if not for the recent few weeks.
"Xiao Ya, what do we say when we leave school?"
Ye Qian reminded while raising his brows, causing the little girl to scratch her head before nodding with a wide smile.
"Yes."
"Thankyou teacher, Nan. Take care."
Saying that the little girl even seed to be ready to give a flying kiss to her teacher but Ye QIan quickly lowered her hand, saving the teacher from so embarrassnt.
"Ugghhh."
Teacher Nan didn't know what to say, she had clearly seen what the little girl was about to do, but it was also good that her father had stopped her beforehand.
Finally, she could only force a smile and wave her hand to them before calling the next child's na.
"Huh, Dad why did you stop , I wanted to give teacher Nan a kissi." the little girl asked with her lips pursed tight, not understanding why her dad had stopped her.
"Xiao Ya, when we are in front of so many people, it's not good to do that to a teacher."
Ye Qian said and then continued.
"You can do that to your mom, , or your sisters and grandparents, but teacher Nan is different."
"She is your teacher and not your friend, at last not in front of so many people."
"So then can I give a kissi to teacher when we are in the class?"
The little girl asked.
Ye Qian knew that teachers were akin to second parents and children being so friendly with them also helped the teachers understand them much better, but there were so things that could be thought of as biased if done before everyone.
Although no one would say this about Xiao Ya, but for Miss Nan this might cause so discomfort.
"Hmm."
"Ok, now let's get your big sister."
"Hehe, big sister should be waiting for us," the little girl grinned and gazed at the left side of the building entrance which was usually where Little Qiqi's class would be released.
After waiting for a minute and all the children who were the sa age as Xiao Ya was released, Ye Qian saw Wu Ying walk to the entrance before taking a look around and noticing him gave a slight nod.
Ye Qian did the sa and waited for a bit more since he could see Qiqi waiting and waving at them.
After another minute of wait, teacher Wu Ying called out.
"Ye Qi's parents."
"Here."
Before Ye Qian could step forward, the little girl rushed to him with her signature wide grin, showing her milky white teeth.
"Papa!"
"Haha, okay, let's not stop here."
"Hmm."
With that, the little girl held one of his fingers before turning to her teacher.
"Bye Miss Wu."
"Bye."
Wu Ying waved her hand and continued calling the nas of the other children, who were also eager to go ho and were already peeking their heads around to see their mothers or grandparents.
"Papa, Qiqi missed all grandpas and grandmas."
Once they were at the gate, the little girl called out, it had been more than 3 days since she had gone to the old age ho, which made the little girl miss them.
"We are going to them now anyways."
Ye Qian smiled and picked her up.
Just as he was about to walk to the other side of the road, a voice called out.
"Mr Ye!"
Ye Qian and the two little girls in his arms turned around only to see a familiar figure or figures approaching them.
It was a boy and a woman.
From their facial characters, it wasn't hard to determine that the boy was the woman's son.
"Zhin?"
Little Qiqi muttered it was because the boy was from her class and also her friend.
And the woman was Mrs Ji, the one who had dropped Ye Qian, Little Qiqi and Xiao Ya to their ho a few days ago in her car.
Since the last day they had gone to et Xiao Ya's grandparents right after school, Mrs Ji hadn't seen Ye Qian and his daughter after they were released.
But today it was different.
"Ohh Mrs Ji, how are you."
Ye Qian smiled while Xiao Ya waved her hand at Zhin and Little Qiqi greeted the woman as well.
"Well, things are good as usual."
Although she said with a smile on her face, that wasn't true and Ye Qian could tell that she was lying.
