After the brief introduction and seeing them invite her, Miss Jhang was pleased to join Yuan ng and Ning Wei.
"Sister Wei, maybe it's not bad to make a friend."
Yuan ng muttered as they saw Miss Jhang walk to one of the free tables, her being sowhat happier compared to before.
"Hmm, I didn't feel that she was like others," Wei nodded.
By others, she ant so of the teachers who would sotis look at them with disdain, partly because of jealousy from the attention they received from others.
With that, the two also followed Miss Jhang, making their way to the empty table which she was also walking to.
After settling themselves and opening the lunchboxes, a delicious aroma wafted out of Yuan ng and Ning Wei's boxes, eliciting gazes from a few people sitting at the nearby tables.
In fact, even Miss Jhang couldn't help but take a sneak peek at them and was astonished that there was steam coming out of the boxes even now.
'They bought food from sowhere around.'
She thought and then looked at her own lunchbox, which although was slightly warm, wasn't the sa as how it would be when the food within was just cooked.
"Miss Jhang, have so."
Yuan ng said while extending a few spoonfuls of rice and dumplings.
Although rice would be a daily staple, there would be variations like vegetable stir fry, braised chicken, mushroom, etc, making the two ladies and also the children not feel bored of the lunch, yet at the sa ti keeping the al full of nutritious.
One had to know that even if the girls had been sowhat of picky eaters before, ever since Grandma Yan and Ye Qian cooked for them, they just couldn't think that anything the two made wasn't delicious.
And that was already true for Little Qiqi who would often eat snacks of different vegetables prepared by her grandma.
"Ahh, thankyou, you should have so sweet eggplant too."
With that, she also passed her lunch box, allowing the two ladies to pick a few spoons of eggplant which seed to be glistening with a sweet yet spicy sauce.
"Sniff, the aroma from this is really different, I have never heard of this dish."
Ning Wei's brows raised as she sniffed the dish and was amazed.
She knew how hard it was to cook an eggplant that would look good and at the sa ti taste good.
If it was overcooked, it would turn mushy, and if it wasn't cooked well enough, then it would leave a bitter taste after eating.
And since she had experienced both of the conclusions, she would always try to not make it knowing that it won't turn out to be good and she didn't want Jia to feel repulsed towards any food.
Yuan ng also nodded in agreent, wanting to make Miss Jhang feel good in their company and make her awkward after seeing that she seed hesitant.
"Hehe, Miss Ning is saying too much, it's simple, just tossing a few vegetables and it's done."
"No no, Miss Jhang, so far, every ti I cooked eggplant, I would always ss it up, making feel not want to make it, lest my daughter started hating the vegetable, due to my inability to cook it well."
Ning Wei shook her head with an embarrassed face, disagreeing with Miss Jhang who said that it was a simple recipe.
"Ahh, Miss Ning, you shouldn't feel bad, many a ti, I also don't know how to cook different vegetables or dishes, so all I do is try them with so variations," Miss Jhang smiled but then her eyes turned wide as if she realized sothing from Ning Wei's words.
"Miss Ning has a daughter?" she asked, her brows raised high in shock.
From the looks of it, although Ning Wei seed a bit older than Yuan ng, it never ca to her mind that Wei would be married much less even have a child.
"Umm, yes, she is in class 1 in the Turtle School," Ning Wei nodded as she took a bite of the eggplant with so of her rice and instantly her tastebuds tingled.
The sweet yet spicy taste of the eggplant along with the savoury taste of the mushroom rice made all of her tastebuds active.
Although it wasn't new to her, she had most of the ti relished this every ti she ate sothing that Ye Qian made.
In fact, according to her, every dish that Ye Qian would make had every kind of taste she knew of, and there were many tis she felt that there was so different taste to the food which she couldn't actually pinpoint.
"Actually, I didn't think that you were married, much less be having a child," Miss Jhang forced a smile.
Although it was complintary for won to be praised for their younger looks by n, rarely would a woman say the sa.
This was because they would subconsciously think that they were comparing themselves to the other, and that would make them slightly feel envious.
"Hehe, Miss Jhang must be joking, I am just a year older than Sister ng, how can that be?"
Ning Wei felt her cheeks burning red.
Although this was sothing that she had heard a few tis, Miss Jhang was the first to be surprised but not envious of it.
Won liked to preserve their beauty and would always want to be considered as one.
But age was the limiting factor that would snatch it away from them, no matter how much they were to cling to it.
Hearing her words, Miss Jhang turned her gaze to Yuan ng before turning back to Ning Wei.
She could easily conclude that even if Ning Wei had a child when she turned 25, she would now be 31 and with what she had just heard, then Yuan ng was around 30 years old.
But from the looks, none of the two ladies looked older than 25.
