"Qian'er didn't want Jia to be away from him or away from you either."

Yuan ng's words were akin to thunderclap for Ning Wei.

Although she had thought that she might also be the reason why Ye Qian didn't leave the city even after Yuan ng was willing to, the realization that this was indeed true made her heart tremble.

Subconsciously her eyes welled with tears and a smile that only soone who was in utmost happiness could show.

Although Ye Qian's actions could not actually be terd as a sacrifice, for Ning Wei, it was more than what she could ever imagine.

She couldn't help but subconsciously compare Ye Qian to a certain figure that had left a dark shadow in her heart and was even responsible for her current condition and how she was forced to live along with her daughter.

But before she could recall the face of the figure, Ye Qian's smiling face as he held Little Jia in his arms flashed before her eyes, throwing the dark image out of her thoughts.

"Sister Wei?"

That was when she heard a call and Ning Wei was pulled out of her thoughts.

"Umm."

"You are crying?"

Yuan ng pointed out.

But Ning Wei shook her head, "No, I am not crying, I just thought that Jia hadn't t Qian then how she might have been."

After saying that, Ning Wei let out a sigh.

She could recall the days when the two would be alone, staying in their ho, although she would try her best to take care of her daughter just like any mother would, but Ning Wei always felt that her daughter always missed sothing, and knowing soone who had grown without any family, Ning Wei clearly knew what it was.

Though it was the love of parents for her, for her daughter it was the love of a father.

"Sister Wei, how can you think that, if the world wants Qian'er to love Jia just like how he loves Qiqi then there is nothing that can stop him."

Yuan ng shook her head and wiped off the tears from her friend's eyes.

The two had been living sowhat similar conditions, of course, Yuan ng had co by better ans than Ning Wei, but the two won had never given up and had tried their best to take care of their daughters.

Of course, Yuan ng felt that Ning Wei was more worthy to be respected since she didn't have anyone's support unlike her who did not just co from a big family albeit it didn't treat her like one except for a few people.

Nonetheless, Ning Wei was soone Yuan ng deeply respected.

"Hmm."

Ning Wei nodded while Yuan ng cheered her up.

"Okay, now let's have lunch, I have been hungry for a while, did so heavy lifting a while ago, I need so energy to teach the kids later on."

"Huh?"

'Heavy lifting? What did Sister ng do?'

Ning Wei wondered, she couldn't think just what Yuan ng might have done for her to say that.

Of course, the woman was unaware of the incident at the Vice-rector's office.

In fact, the entire school was unaware that the second highest official of their school had almost touched death and was now lying on a hospital bed while his office was in ruins as if being rampaged by demolition squads.

"Ahhh, the books and those exam sheets were a bit heavy."

Seeing the confused look on Ning Wei's face, Yuan ng said.

But although Ning Wei nodded and the two got up from their table and made their way to the cafeteria while holding their lunch boxes in their hands with Yuan ng walking a few steps ahead of Ning Wei, she couldn't help but shake it off her head.

'I have beco sowhat powerful and Sister ng has gotten way more powerful since Ye Qian returned that day she even lifted the entire bed with just one of her hands and she didn't even seem to be giving any effort, but now she feels worked out just by lifting so papers?'

Ning Wei just couldn't wrap her mind around this as she recalled the scene from a few days ago.

She could clearly see that her body had gotten much stronger than before and she didn't feel tired and worn out by the end of the day like before.

She knew that this was thanks to the way Ye Qian made food for everyone.

In fact, she was even confident that she could run for a few kilotres without sweating out or lift a few ten kilos of weight with ease and she had never felt too hungry like how Yuan ng had described it.

One had to know that Ning Wei could lift just about 10 kilos so more or less with her body not long ago.

And that was also why she could sotis feel bad that she couldn't even carry her daughter up for a few minutes.

Of course, this was also because of the ailnt in her back which had developed due to her constant working on the computer during the late nights.

But just a few days after she started having the food Ye Qian made for them, she felt that she didn't feel the pain as before and could easily pick her daughter up.

This brought her imnse joy.

Little Jia wasn't chubby or overweight for her age either, in fact, the little girl could even be considered sowhat underweight before, and even then Ning Wei couldn't carry her like how she used to when she was just 3 or 4 years old.

While Ning Wei was thinking all that, she bumped into soone, almost crashing her head onto a back and falling due to the force.

"I...I am sorry."

Ning Wei apologized knowing well that she was the one who was walking absentmindedly.

Yuan ng had been walking just a few steps ahead of her, but now she couldn't even find her friend.

"Ohh, Miss Ning is it?"

A feminine voice asked and the figure before Ning Wei waved her hand.

"It's alright, you seed to be lost in thought."
