Ye Qian was confused about why would the little girl say that but then he heard her continue.
"I don't know how my real father would be, Papa, but even if he cos to now, I will not leave my Papa."
Little Jia's words caused Ye Qian's heart to shake as he understood the seriousness of her words.

anwhile, Su Ren who was standing just a few hands away from them couldn't;t help but feel his face twitching hearing the word of these two.

He obviously didn't bla the little girl but he just wanted to smack this old friend of his.

There was obviously no reason for him to believe that what the little girl said was true and even more for sothing like what she had said to be done by the first of Ye Qian.
Ye Qian smiled wryly and shook his head.
"You should not say that you were eating snakes to children, they would get a bad idea although eating it is healthy."
Of course, the DRAGONS AT and DRAGON BLOOD that Su Ren thought was SNAKE AT and BLOOD.
Since in so parts of the nation snakes were considered Dragons as well.
