Right on the veranda of Ye Qian's house.
Grandma Yan stared at Ye Qian stopping him from taking any step further.
anwhile, Ning Wei had a confused look on her face as she saw Ye Qian fish out two phones from his pocket which looked completely empty just a mont ago.
As if noticing Yuan ng's gaze, Ning Wei turned to Yuan ng and gave a nod of understanding.
Both the won had been friends for so long and it would not be wrong to say that they could be sad as best friends as well, so it was not hard for them to understand what the other was trying to say with just their gaze.
Grandma Yan looked at the phones and didn't say anything and just only glared at Ye Qian for a mont before saying.
"The little girls were to willing sleep without you coming back."
Her words were like a hamr which strikes with a loud bang on Ye Qian's heart as his face turned into that of worry.
"Are they still awake, mom?"
"No, your dad coaxed them by telling them a story and so are now sleeping."
Grandma Yan shook her head as she glanced at the room in which she and Grandpa Xiao would live.
Just a few monts ago she had seen the scene of Grandpa Xiao saying a story to the little girls.
Although the little girls had their eyelids turned heavy due to the upcoming sleep, they still continued to hold themselves from sleeping.
This act of theirs was what made Grandma Yan get so much irritated.
The little girls had been tired after the travel from all the day and last night.
Even if it was nothing but a four-hour route with their small bodies, Grandma Yan knew that it would have been enough to make them hella tired.
And with the fact that they had even gone on a mountain in the morning made it clear that they would have been exhausted, even if they climbed the mountain in excitent.
Even if the little girls slept for a while after coming back, Grandma Yan knew that they won't feel better unless they rested for a whole night.
But still, they didn't want to sleep till they saw their father.
This pained Grandma Yan and also made her to be a bit angry at Ye Qian even when he was her own son.
But she also didn't want to say about all this to Ye Qian knowing that he would bla himself a lot for this.
And with how he was going to go on a job from tomorrow, Grandma Yan didn't want Ye Qian to drop his decision.
Just as Ye Qian turned to look at the room, he could see the little girls who were sleeping while moving here and there on the bed obviously, they were restless even in their sleep.
His heart ached to see them twist and turned on the bed like this.
anwhile, Grandma Yan turned to Ye Qian again but then as if noticing sothing, squinted her eyes.
As Ye Qian and Yuan ng were both looking at the little girls, they didn't notice Grandma Yan's gaze which had obviously found sothing eerie.
"Alright, you should all go and rest, let the girls stay with us tonight since they are sleeping, I don't want them to be woken up again."
Grandma Yan snapped at Ye Qian and then turned to Yuan ng and Ning Wei.
"And you also have to go to your work, so change quickly and rest."
The two ladies were wearing their casual clothes and it was hard for them to sleep in such.
"Hmm."
Yuan ng and Ning Wei nodded, Ye Qian was about to walk towards Grandma Yan's room when Yuan ng noticed sothing and stopped Ye Qian quickly.
"Qian'er, can you help with sothing?"
Yuan ng's words were urgent as if she was in very need of saying sothing.
Hearing her voice like this, Ye Qian stopped and turned to Yuan ng and gave a nod.
anwhile, Grandma Yan also took a glance at Yuan ng from the corner of her eyes as her eyes slightly twitched.
She nodded and then started to take steps towards their room.
"What is it ngng?"
As Ye Qian and Yuan ng walked towards their room, followed by Ning Wei, Ye Qian asked as he walked into the room.
Ning Wei was right behind him and was also astonished to see the way Yuan ng had called for Ye Qian.
She was worried that maybe there was sothing that Yuan ng would need her help with since she was a woman, and not all things could be said to her husband even if he was a doctor.
"You...you dummy, you had the idea to wear new clothes but what about removing the tags."
Yuan ng's eyes were wide as she pointed her finger at the back of the collar of the T-shirt that Ye Qian was wearing.
With a flipping sound, Yuan ng removed a price tag and showed it while waving in front of Ye Qian's eyes.
Behind him, Ning Wei was a bit astonished to see the tag which was on Ye Qian's shirt.
It was because this shirt was removed by her and she had checked if there was any tag before keeping it for Ye Qian to wear.
But right now, there was a tag on its collar.
As Ning Wei looked at it carefully, she noticed that although the shirt looked identical to that of the one which Ye Qian was wearing when he went out, but was slightly different.
The colour of the two shirts was dark and it was almost impossible to notice the difference between the two colours.
"Didn't we take two like such, one with dark blue and the other was navy blue?"
Ning Wei muttered and then sothing clicked in her mind as her eyes widened as she could not help but ask while her voice trembled.
"Did you guys et so kind of accident?"
