All this long they had been working in the High School, it would not be wrong to say that everyone knew of their coldness, thus rarely would anyone want to go and talk with them.

Of course, there were also tis when they would say sothing in return that would make the people not talk to them later on.

The banquet continued and after quite so ti, while all had arrived and everything had been settled, a few more started to co from the entrance.

These figures were instantly greeted by a burst of cheers and claps.

The two ladies continued to spend their ti along with their daughters, these were the board mbers.

Among them was the Dean of the High School, who was respected by everyone and even those who were quiet and aloof of their status in the school didn't dare to act much in front of him.

As the dean was walking through on his way to the stage to greet everyone and state the main objection to this banquet, there was a loud cry from the banquet.

"Ahhhhh!"

"Mummaaa!"

There were precisely two voices that sounded throughout the quiet hall.

Since the dean was going to say sothing there was complete silence and the cry of a little girl and a young woman sounded throughout everyone's ears.

"What happened?"

The dean was a middle-aged man in his mid-60s, hearing the cry of a little girl, he was indeed shocked.

He quickly glanced at the farthest corner from which the sound originated.

There, everyone turned to look around only to see a little girl who had her eyes filled with tears while in front of her was a woman in her mid 20's.

And it looked quite off.

The little girl's lips seed to be shaking as if she was about to cry but was holding not to do so since it would make everyone to look at her.

"You..."

anwhile, the woman pointed her finger at the little girl who was still holding her tears and then glanced at her blue gown that was spilt with red wine and was completely wasted.

Taking a look at the little girl, anyone would feel bad for her.

"It looks like the little girl spilt the wine on Miss Yun's dress."

A few people speculated.

"Aunty Qiqi is sorry, Qiqi just wanted to go there and drink so water, but.. but aunt ca and hit Qiqi."

The little girl whimpered as she said her words causing everyone to feel sad for the little girl as they agreed.

"What you, you just banged into while you were running while I stood now you are blaming it on ."

The woman nad Miss Yun glared at the little girl fiercely and scolded her.

"Ahu, sniff, no, Qiqi didn't want to do that."

Finally not being able to hold back, the little girl burst into tears and started crying.

It was just then that the crowd heard soone.

"Please move, it's my daughter."

It was this voice that made the little girl to hold back her tears once more.

"Sniff.. sniff, Mumma, Qiqi promises that Qiqi didn't do it to hurt Aunt."

Seeing her mother co near, the little girl apologized while rubbing her tears off.

But no matter how much she did so, with so many people staring at them, it made the little girl, even more, feel worse.

"It's alright Qiqi, since you apologized and said that it's not your fault then it's alright."

Miss Yuan nodded while wiping her daughter's tears and coaxing her.

"Haha, like mother like daughter, she knows how to bla soone else and be aloof."

Just when the mother was trying to coax her daughter to not cry anymore, a mock was heard by the few who were close.

They instant turned to see that it was the sa young woman whose gown had been spilt with wine.

She had a cold smile on her face as she seed to know the obvious.

Hearing the words, Little Qiqi who was still whimpering turned in her direction in confusion.

anwhile, Miss Yuan also had a bleak look on her face as she turned to face the woman.

But she knew that at the mont, she had to coax her daughter and not worry about so useless people.

And so she completely disregarded the words that were intended towards her and wiped her daughter's teary face with her handkerchief with care.

After a mont she looked at her daughter's arms and her eyes squinted.

"Qiqi, what happened here, dear?"

Bringing Little Qiqi's elbow which seed a bit scratched and so skin also looked to be scraped.

It was obvious that the little girl was trying to hide it from her mother but was finally caught.

anwhile, seeing that Miss Yuan had not said anything in return like always, Miss Yun thought that she would not say anything in front of so many people.

"What can you expect from a child whose father left her even before she was born?"

These few words caused the few people to breathe in a mouthful of cold air.

Just now, what Miss Yun had said could be said as a taboo for Yuan ng and there was no one who would say such words, at least not right in front of her face and also in front of so many people with such a loud voice.

"Miss Yun, watch your words."

At this ti, a voice of a woman said sharply.

The voice was also cold.

As the people turned they saw a woman who was holding the hand of a little girl co from the crowd.

"Heh, another soone just so similar."

Miss Yun sneered but didn't say anything.

Miss Ning's face turned dark as she wanted to say sothing but could not think of what.

She was obviously cursing this Miss Yun deeply in her heart.

anwhile, Little Qiqi who was being held by her mother turned to her mother.

"Mumma, what did this aunt say, did Papa leave us?"

The little girl though asked calmly, but her face had turned completely white as if everything in her world had been shattered into pieces.
