**

The raging sandstorm, violent winds, and flas gradually subsided.

A massive king cobra coiled in place, half of its body rising upright. Its enormous pale-yellow vertical pupils were locked onto Wei Yang and Xian’er, who were hovering in the air.

So of its scales had cracked, yet no blood seeped out. Instead, under the burning yellowish-brown flas, those cracked scales were slowly healing.

Wei Yang and Xian’er exchanged glances, both frowning inwardly.

This unknown serpent-type magical beast not only had terrifying defense and formidable attacks, but even its regenerative ability was shockingly powerful!

This was going to be troubleso.

Hiss~

The king cobra slightly opened its mouth, its forked tongue flickering like a sharp blade, emitting a faint hissing sound.

Whoosh—

A fierce wind began to stir in the surrounding void. As the serpent exhaled, a torrent of yellowish-brown flas gushed from its throat.

The wind fueled the fire, causing it to blaze even more intensely. A sea of flas swept across the sky, carrying an unbearable heat as it surged toward Wei Yang and Xian’er.

As the firestorm swept forward, it began to rotate rapidly, eventually forming a massive tornado of wind and fire, creating a terrifying spectacle.

Roar~

Within the wind-fire tornado, faint dragon-like roars echoed.

As expected!

Wei Yang’s eyes lit up upon witnessing this scene. He beca increasingly certain that this serpent-type magical beast had definitely co into contact with so kind of Heavenly Fla.

He hadn’t expected such an unexpected surprise.

Taking a deep breath of the scorching air, Wei Yang spread his arms. In the center of his palms, two dark-red flas ignited, quickly forming into two lifelike little fire dragons.

"Go!"

With a light shout, he pushed both hands forward.

Roar!

Roar!

The two small fire dragons shot out swiftly, their bodies expanding rapidly. Under the support of Wei Yang’s vast Dou Qi, they grew to over ten ters in an instant.

On the other side, Xian’er also pushed both palms forward. Two grayish-white fire dragons with faint hints of dark red swiftly erged and lunged forward.

The surrounding fire attribute energy surged in, pouring into the fire dragons, further enhancing their power.

Roar!

The four fire dragons, each over ten ters long, roared as they charged toward the wind-fire tornado.

This was the Second Level of the Nine Dragons Fire Control Technique, its power reaching Quasi-Earth Grade.

Although the combined attack of Wei Yang and Xian’er didn’t achieve a simple sum of their individual strengths, it was still imnsely powerful.

Boom!

A massive explosion erupted once again.

This ti, the four fire dragons clearly had the upper hand. They tore through the wind-fire tornado’s obstruction and, carrying nearly half of their remaining power, slamd into the king cobra’s body.

Boom!

A violent explosion detonated, sending out shockwaves of energy mixed with fierce winds and scorching flas.

Hiss—!

The king cobra let out a furious and pain-filled hiss.

"Xian’er, go all out! Take it down!" Wei Yang commanded, thrusting his palms forward once more.

Two more fire dragons rapidly shot out, expanding into massive, ten-ter-long beasts as they charged into the explosion’s core.

"Alright!" Xian’er nodded, swiftly condensing two more fire dragons and hurling them down.

Strike while it’s weak—finish it off!

The two of them continuously launched fire dragons without pause, wave after wave.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A relentless barrage of explosions erupted.

Miniature fire mushroom clouds rose one after another.

This entire area had beco an inferno of devastation.

Distant Sand Dune

On a large sand dune far away, Qing Lin stood anxiously, her small face filled with worry as she gazed at the fierce battle ahead.

That place had already been completely transford into a blazing sea of fire.

The continuous explosions echoed faintly, making her heart race with unease.

"Young Master, Sister Xian’er, you must be careful!"

Qing Lin clasped her hands in front of her chest, silently praying.

With her re Dou Zhi Qi Fourth Stage, she didn’t dare to approach that battlefield at all.

Back in the Battlefield

Whoosh—

Amidst the sea of flas, a long serpent tail suddenly lashed out, cutting through the air with a sharp explosive sound.

"Damn beast, it’s still not dead?"

Wei Yang had just stopped attacking, preparing to catch his breath and recover his Dou Qi, when he was shocked. Without ti to think, he swiftly moved forward and struck out with his palm.

Furious Lion Roar!

A crimson-gold energy lion head materialized in front of his palm, colliding fiercely with the incoming serpent tail.

Boom!

Wei Yang grunted, his body sent tumbling backward by the imnse force, retreating over ten ters. His entire arm trembled violently, feeling numb from the impact.

"Such terrifying physical strength! It actually overpowered my Furious Lion Roar using only its body?" Wei Yang was both shocked and furious.

After a brief pause in the air, the serpent’s tail lashed out once again.

"Brother Yang!" Xian’er called out worriedly.

Without concern for her own exhaustion, she rushed forward, blocking in front of Wei Yang. Both her hands shot out, sending two more grayish-white fire dragons forward.

Boom!

At such close range, the explosion’s shockwave flung Xian’er away. Her delicate face paled slightly.

"Xian’er."

Wei Yang flapped his wings, catching Xian’er in his arms as he quickly ascended high into the sky.

He didn’t stop until they had risen several dozen ters.

"Xian’er, are you alright?" Wei Yang asked urgently.

"Brother Yang, don’t worry, I’m fine. Just a bit exhausted." Xian’er’s delicate face was slightly pale, her chest heaving rapidly a few tis before she gradually cald down. She shook her head reassuringly.

Wei Yang carefully examined her and, upon confirming she wasn’t injured, finally relaxed.

Earlier, the two of them had unleashed over a dozen consecutive attacks using the Nine Dragons Fire Control Technique, bombarding that beast relentlessly. Their Dou Qi expenditure had been considerable.

After all, it was a Quasi-Earth Grade Dou Technique.

But who could have expected that despite such an overwhelming assault, not only had that beast survived unscathed, but it even seized an opportunity to counterattack?

Now that they had temporarily withdrawn from battle, their Dou Qi was beginning to recover at an extrely rapid pace.

There was no need to rely on dicinal recovery.

Especially for Wei Yang—his recovery speed was even faster. Given just a little ti to recuperate, he would be ready to fight again.

However...

Wei Yang frowned.

This beast wasn’t just troubleso anymore. It was becoming unbeatable.

Its defense—wasn’t it simply too absurd?!

His gaze flickered with uncertainty as he looked down.

As the residual explosion dissipated, the serpent-type magical beast’s form was gradually revealed.

It appeared sowhat battered—many of its scales had fallen off, and its flesh was torn in places.

But these were only surface wounds. Nothing vital was hard.

Even more terrifyingly, under the burning yellowish-brown flas on its body, those wounds were visibly stopping their bleeding and beginning to scab over.

Its formidable physique granted it an astonishing regenerative ability.

Wei Yang and Xian’er exchanged looks, both montarily speechless.

A feeling of helplessness welled up in their hearts.

How were they even supposed to fight this thing?!

Hiss—!

The king cobra let out a sharp, ear-piercing hiss.

Though it appeared sowhat disheveled, its overwhelming presence remained unshaken.

Raising half of its body upright, it tilted its head back to stare at Wei Yang and Xian’er in the sky. Its pale-yellow vertical pupils glead with an almost human-like look of provocation as it flicked its forked tongue arrogantly.

The yellowish-brown flas on its massive body burned even more fiercely, while violent winds howled around it. The wind fed the flas, causing them to rage even hotter.

This sight... was absolutely infuriating.

"Damn it!"

Wei Yang’s breathing grew heavy, his chest rising and falling.

The blatant provocation of this beast ignited a fire in his heart.

Too arrogant.

Overbearingly arrogant. Seeking death!

Wei Yang’s figure moved—he was about to charge back down for another fight.

But just then, a delicate hand suddenly grasped his arm.

Wei Yang turned to see Xian’er holding onto him.

"Xian’er, let go. I’m going down to settle this beast once and for all!"

Instead of releasing him, Xian’er gripped his arm with both hands, shaking her head gently.

She spoke softly, "Brother Yang, don’t be reckless! We can’t beat it for now—let’s just leave it. When we grow stronger in the future, we can co back and settle the score."

"If we continue fighting like this, it won’t end well for either of us. We could both end up heavily wounded."

"We just arrived in this area, and we don’t know the surroundings well. anwhile, it’s fighting on ho ground... It’s better to let this go for now."

"Finding that Heavenly Fla is more important. We’re already close—at most, it’s only a day or two away."

Wei Yang took a deep breath and, after a brief mont of hesitation, finally nodded reluctantly.

"Fine."

He cast one last hateful glance at the serpent-type magical beast below, gritting his teeth.

"I’ll let you go today—but I’ll co back to make you pay!"

Even if it wasn’t just for revenge, he had to return to extract information about the other Heavenly Fla.

One way or another, he would settle this score in the future.
