As that deep blue fla rose into the air, both Han Feng’s soul power and perception ability suddenly soared trendously.

Inside the spatial barrier ahead, the previously faint fluctuations now beca violently intense and startlingly clear—just as if they were exploding right beside him.

"As expected, it’s a Heavenly Fla!" Han Feng abruptly retracted the deep blue fla in his palm and looked up sharply, his gaze scorching hot as it locked onto the spatial barrier before him.

Although he held trendous influence within the Black-Corner Region, the Jia Nan Academy was no small force either—it was a true colossus.

To be honest, Han Feng didn’t wish to provoke them lightly.

Of course, that reluctance to provoke depended on the situation. When the stakes were high enough, everything changed.

Take now, for instance—the temptation of a Heavenly Fla.

"A Heavenly Fla... heh, after searching bitterly for so many years, I never would’ve thought it was hidden right here in these deep mountains..." Han Feng murmured to himself. "So Jia Nan Academy does possess a Heavenly Fla... this trip to the Black-Corner Region wasn’t in vain after all!"

"If I can obtain a second Heavenly Fla and successfully devour and refine it, then..."

The cold, stern look that usually marked his face was suddenly overtaken by a surge of fanatical emotion.

His palm clenched tightly, and just as he was about to speak, his brow furrowed slightly, and his lips instantly pressed together.

He tucked his hand into his sleeve, quietly covering his chest as his breathing turned slightly ragged. At the sa ti, the aura around his body grew faintly unstable.

Several tis, he felt the urge to cough rise in his throat, but he forcibly suppressed it. A faint redness appeared on his face from the effort.

He consciously slowed his breathing rhythm. From the outside, it looked as though he was simply lost in deep thought—his expression calm, as if nothing was amiss.

But among the crowd were no shortage of old foxes, their eyes sharp and shrewd. So of them noticed sothing odd.

However, though they were puzzled, they all chose to act as if they hadn’t seen anything, quietly shifting their gazes away.

A mont later—

"Hmph." Han Feng gave a cold snort. After a few rough breaths, his chest finally settled.

He exhaled slowly, the redness on his face quickly receding.

But inside, he was far from calm. He clenched his jaw and cursed bitterly in his heart:

"Damn that old bastard. If he’d just let

cultivate Fla Mantra back then, would any of this have happened?"

"Saying my temperant wasn’t suitable, that it was too dangerous—what a load of bullshit!"

"I only cultivated half of a broken remnant, and look—didn’t I still succeed? If I had the full version, would I still be stuck at the peak of Dou Huang even now?"

"My alchemy talent... my cultivation talent... they surpass yours back then by far..."

By the end, his voice had grown lower and lower until it faded away completely.

Still, the clenched fist hidden beneath the wide sleeve of his robe made clear the depths of his fury and hatred.

At that mont—

The spatial barrier ahead began to grow more stable, the surging fluctuations gradually subsiding.

"Master Han?" a powerful expert called out.

"Mm." Han Feng nodded, the cold sharpness once again returning to his expression. His voice was calm, yet carried the authority of command:

"Everyone, it’s ti to act. The benefits I promised will be delivered—Han Feng always keeps his word."

"Haha, good!"

"Master Han can rest easy!"

"We will do our utmost!"

"Then let’s move, everyone—let’s break this damn spatial barrier!"

"Let’s go!"

Above the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower.

"Beast, get back down!" A cold and sharp shout suddenly erupted like thunder, reverberating across the entire sky above the Inner Academy.

As the shout echoed out, Su Qian’s hands suddenly pressed downward.

In the next instant, a massive ball of Dou Qi flew from his hands with a shiiing sound. It sliced through the resisting space and silently rged into the web of energy overhead.

Then—like a cannonball—it smashed violently into the gigantic body of the invisible fire python!

Screee—!

Struck by such a massive Dou Qi sphere, even the strength of the invisible fire python couldn’t withstand it. A sharp, piercing, and mournful screech tore from its throat.

Boom!

The Dou Qi sphere exploded with a thunderous roar.

The sudden eruption of violent energy slamd into the fla serpent with overwhelming force, sending it crashing downward.

Under Su Qian’s precise control, it was once again forced down into the shattered Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower.

"Seal!"

As the invisible fire python was driven back into the tower, a flicker of joy flashed across Su Qian’s eyes. His hands rapidly ford a seal as he shouted sharply.

From the ruptured tip of the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower, a dark, translucent energy barrier suddenly erged once more, tightly sealing the tower’s top.

"Oooooh—!"

Seeing the Falling Heart Fla sealed once again inside the tower, countless spectating students in the distance erupted into deafening cheers like crashing waves.

"Master?" On a nearby hillside, Xiao Yan frowned as he stared at the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower now emanating black light. He whispered anxiously in his heart.

"Don’t panic. Tsk, kid, can’t you stay calm even a little? You really ought to learn from that Brat Wei."

Yao Lao’s tone was calm and leisurely as he began lecturing Xiao Yan. "The Falling Heart Fla isn’t that easy to seal. Once it falls back into the magma world below, it can recover rapidly. When it regains its strength, it’ll definitely rise again... And besides, other factions are getting involved now too."

Hearing this, Xiao Yan’s heart skipped a beat. A bad premonition surged within him. His expression changed, and he blurted out in shock, "Could it be people from the Black-Corner Region?"

"Hmph." Yao Lao snorted coldly and abruptly fell silent.

Crack!

At that mont, a sharp cracking sound echoed from sowhere high above the Inner Academy.

Everyone froze, then instinctively turned their eyes skyward.

There—within the once clear and boundless sky—a gaping hole had suddenly appeared. Around that hole, spiderweb-like fractures rapidly spread.

The scene looked as though a massive, invisible mirror had been shattered.

Through the rift, everyone could clearly see the true sky beyond—a vast, clear-blue expanse.

This strange phenonon stunned many of the students, leaving them frozen with wide-eyed disbelief.

The Inner Academy had always been shrouded beneath a spatial barrier. Normally, when people looked up, the sky appeared no different than the real one—it was like a fully transparent do of glass stretched overhead.

For weaker students, who relied on sight alone, there was virtually no way to distinguish between the false and the real. Over ti, they had simply gotten used to it.

But now, seeing that sky suddenly rupture and reveal another, real blue sky beyond—it sent chills through many of the students. So were so startled, they felt their hearts seize in panic.

It was as if the heavens themselves had been torn open, only for them to discover... another sky beyond the one they knew.

Su Qian had just barely exhaled in relief. Hearing the thunderous cheers from afar, a smile had just begun to bloom on his face...

But that smile abruptly froze.

From the gap in the sky, a swarm of figures began to descend.

Wings of Dou Qi flared open behind them as they gently flapped, exuding powerful and oppressive auras. They surged in like a black tide, descending through the rupture in the sky.

At the sa ti, a light, teasing chuckle echoed out. Though indistinct, it struck like a blade through silence, laced with an air of arrogance and danger.

One group after another stepped forth, eventually forming a vast crowd that hovered above the Inner Academy. All of them stared downward.

Instantly, a thick bloody aura filled the entire sky over the Inner Academy.

The sudden, shocking change left the entire Inner Academy in a deathly silence.

Countless students stared blankly, eyes wide, at the sudden arrival of so many terrifying figures above.

Xiao Yan also looked up. His expression had grown grim, his fists slowly clenching without realizing it.

So many powerful enemies descending all at once... Today’s incident is about to get extrely troubleso.

"Hehehe... Hahahaha..."

At that mont, Yao Lao suddenly let out a strange, inexplicable chuckle within Xiao Yan’s heart.

In this stifling silence, that eerie laugh sent chills down Xiao Yan’s spine, as if so unseen presence were watching from the shadows.
