With the girls in his arms, Kai walked through the entire place, leaving no crack or corner unchecked. In the end, Kai found remnants of laboratories similar to those of the spiders. Unfortunately, these laboratories seed more outdated than the spiders', and practically nothing useful remained at first glance. Moreover, the little that was sowhat intact had already been used to produce that strange paste from the colored leaves.
[What kind of drug could that be?]
While watching a group of people stir enormous tubs full of acetone and colored leaves with a wooden stick, Shino couldn't help but ask curiously. Kai and Nemuri shook their heads, and Nemuri soon sent a telepathic ssage.
[No idea, I don't know much about how drugs are made…]
[The process is sowhat similar to coca paste production, though with so differences, so it's hard to tell. The base of various drug types is produced in a similar way, and it's not easy to get the key details that differentiate them.] Kai comnted calmly while jumping to exit the place, landing on top of a small, half-destroyed pyramid. At that mont, Nemuri looked at the larger pyramid in the center and asked in a serious tone.
[Did you leave the central pyramid for last for a specific reason?]
[Yes, just like on the spiders' island, the central pyramid is capable of blocking my perception, and on the island it was hiding a terrifying mother spider far stronger than .] Kai explained in a serious tone, at which point Shino comnted while looking at the surroundings.
[I don't think there's anything that terrifying inside, or these guys wouldn't be able to use this place as a base.]
[I think the sa, but it's better to be prepared for the worst. On the spider island they detected even with the cloak, so stay alert. If things get complicated, we'll flee with Accompany.] Kai comnted in a serious tone, to which Shino and Nemuri nodded gravely, and Nemuri soon asked seriously.

[Did you bring your armors?] Kai asked seriously. Shino replied while showing her belt alongside Nemuri.
[Only the ergency suits.]
[That's more than enough; activate them.] Kai ordered in a calm tone, to which the pair of beauties quickly nodded before tapping their belts several tis.
Rapidly, the buckles of Nemuri and Shino's belts deford and then began covering their bodies as if they were so kind of liquid forming small hexagons. Finally, Shino and Nemuri ended up in tight, dark suits covering their entire bodies and concealing their faces, looking like high-tech spy suits.
With their faces covered, Shino and Nemuri clung more tightly to Kai, who took a deep breath before advancing at high speed toward the great pyramid. Landing softly on one of the pyramid's steps right beside an enormous tal door, Kai waited in silence while unsuccessfully trying to use his haki to study the interior.
Just as he expected, a pair of guards soon erged from inside, opening the enormous tal doors. Using the gap, Kai quickly slipped inside, finding himself in a hallway illuminated by large LED lamps powered by thick cables connected further within.
Using small amounts of aura, Kai stuck to the hallway ceiling and began advancing while they examined the nearly completely ruined inscriptions on the walls. The inscriptions were so damaged that it was impossible to understand anything from them, but soon the group could see light at the end, which led them to take deep breaths before pressing forward.
After advancing a few ters, Kai and the girls entered a brilliant light that blinded them, and they soon felt they were passing through so kind of strange barrier, like entering an air-conditioned room in sumr. Almost instantly, a strange screech resonated throughout the place, and the cloak covering Kai vanished in a flash of light.
Seeing the cloak disappear, Nemuri and Shino leaped at great speed to distance themselves from Kai as a brutal pressure descended upon the area. At the sa ti, from the millions of micropores in Nemuri's suit, a large amount of sleep aroma began to erge, while Shino brought her index and middle fingers to her temples.

Scattered throughout the place were several robust n with different dangerous-looking features thanks to their quirks, completely unconscious on the floor in various locations; evidently guards. anwhile, sitting in the jacuzzi was a slightly fat young man of about 18 years old with two equally young naked beauties on his lap, also unconscious.
But what caught Kai's attention was a strange creature behind the fat young man, which resembled an ant about 70 cm tall, which—even with its size—wasn't at all frightening. The ant was moving its pincers on the verge of unconsciousness, trying to intimidate them.
[This can't be the queen, can it…?] Looking at the strange ant, Shino couldn't help but ask through telepathy, visibly incredulous. Kai approached the strange ant and comnted in a sowhat peculiar tone.
[Believe it or not, this thing's 'voice' is quite strong. It surpasses Mirko's by a good margin.]
[Are you serious…?] Nemuri couldn't help but ask incredulously while picking up a selfie stick from the place to poke the ant that seed about to die. Kai replied in a tone between curious and reflective.

[[Roger!]] Kai and Nemuri replied in unison playfully, and soon Shino and Nemuri advanced toward the hallway as a thick pink cloud erged from Nemuri.

Once Shino and Nemuri left, Kai ordered his trusty assistant in a calm tone while he himself set about searching for anything useful in that leisure room. The beautiful fairy approached the strange ant and comnted in a calm tone.
[Understood, master.]
Not long after, a cell appeared to isolate the ant, which vanished from sight, and Sage brought her delicate hand to the fat young man's forehead. Quickly, Sage pulled away from the fat man and shuddered as if she had touched sothing disgusting. At the sa ti, the beautiful fairy created several screens for her master and explained through the ntal connection they shared.
[Just as we expected, master. This guy's quirk factor is quite similar to Koji Koda's. He's able to control animals.]
[Nothing useful then…] Kai comnted disappointedly, then spitefully kicked a guard's head while adding, visibly annoyed, before adding.
[I didn't find anything here either. These idiots destroyed the little that still remained of the place to build this absurdity.]
[At least the sphere is still intact.] Sage comnted, equally angry, to which Kai nodded while turning around to leave.
[So it seems, though sothing tells it wasn't on purpose…]

Soon, Kai was at the top of the pyramid, right in front of the sphere, where he felt a sensation slightly similar to what he felt at the pillar of light on the spider island, though weaker. Additionally, he could see traces of attempts to move the sphere—small notches and destroyed stones—which made him sigh heavily.
[It really wasn't on purpose…]
[Indeed, master.] Sage comnted with a similar sigh. Kai shook his head and soon ordered in a serious tone while rolling up his sleeves.
[Well, let's get to work. Record even the smallest detail, Sage. I'm going to examine the pyramid with my aura to see if I find sothing.]
The beautiful fairy nodded seriously, and soon master and assistant began working while the space gradually filled with Nemuri's pink aroma and a horde of 'zombies' moved in unison to exit through the tree.

After a while, as Kai wrapped a small mountain of things he had recovered from hidden compartnts in the pyramid with a curtain, Shino inford via telepathy. Kai paused for a mont to extend his haki and [En] to the maximum, and upon confirming that indeed no one remained, he replied in a calm tone.
[Perfect, wait outside. I'll try to remove the sphere.]
[Are you sure you won't be in danger…?] Nemuri asked, a little worried. Kai replied in a tone full of confidence.
[Don't worry. If I managed to escape the spider island when it was falling apart, this is a piece of cake. But if you're worried, take one of my swords. If anything happens, I can teleport to it.]
[Alright, we'll wait for you outside then.] Shino comnted as a beautiful jet-black Jian sword with intricate patterns resembling an electronic circuit with geotric runes appeared before her, floating in the air.
After taking the sword, Shino and Nemuri steeled themselves to leave the place, though the entire way they couldn't help but look back. Finally, the pair of beautiful professional heroes exited the tree to find hundreds of unconscious people surrounding it, where they waited, holding the sword between the two of them and staring fixedly at the gigantic tree.

“Did you manage to record everything, Sage?”
Back in front of the sphere, Kai asked in a serious tone, to which the beautiful fairy who materialized beside him responded seriously, creating several screens completely filled with data.
“Yes, master. There are very interesting things we need to investigate. Especially the strange energy circulating through the Aura Script patterns. It gives a sensation similar to 'Nen,' though it's slightly different. I recorded everything so we can investigate it in depth.”
“Nen? How curious…” Kai comnted thoughtfully but quickly snapped back and added seriously.
“Well done, Sage. Now let's do the more 'risky' experints before trying to take it with us.”
“Understood, master!” Sage replied firmly, to which Kai nodded and then extended his right hand toward the sphere and touched it.
After a few minutes with nothing happening, Kai and Sage nodded at each other in silence, and soon Kai activated his aura in his right hand, finally provoking a change, so he quickly pulled away. The sphere suddenly emitted a glow that traveled through each of the Aura Script patterns before fading.
Kai and Sage watched the event, filled with excitent and surprise, as the fairy recorded every piece of data with extre ticulousness. When everything finally ended, Sage looked at her master and comnted seriously.
“Everything recorded, master.”
“Let's try a couple more tis and see what happens…” Kai comnted solemnly before approaching again to do the sa.
After repeating the experint several tis and obtaining the sa results, Kai and Sage reviewed the data they'd gathered for a few minutes before nodding in satisfaction, at which point Kai coated his hand with Armant Haki and comnted seriously.
“Let's move on to the next one.”
With extre care, Kai let his Haki flow through his hand into the sphere, which did the sa as before, showing a glow that traveled through each Aura Script pattern before disappearing. However, unlike before, the glow was darker, and its path was slightly different in both trajectory and speed.
After repeating the experint several tis and obtaining the sa results, Kai looked at the sphere and activated his Conqueror's Haki, wrapping it around his hand, then comnted in a solemn tone.
“Stay alert.”
Carefully, Kai once again let his Haki flow, but this ti the sphere erupted in light like a beacon and began absorbing Kai's Haki in massive quantities, leaving the master-and-assistant pair utterly stupefied.
