Excited.
Enor, the High Ruler, ran as quickly as he could out of the Valley, into the thick and jumbled forest, and past the blood wall before stumbling and falling repeatedly in the wilderness on his way back to the Ethisian Council House.
The High Ruler, filled with imnse joy, was more than eager to do as the Original commanded him. However, what the Original didn’t know was that Enor’s excitent was brought because of what he himself had intended.
The Original nudged at how easy it would be for the Ethisians to convince the Granian Humans to join their cause and fight with them but little did he know that Enor, all along, was on a mission to try and convince the two Originals to fight along with them.
Putting this to the test and getting positive results was unlike anything Enor had ever expected, so much so that he couldn’t hide his child-like excitent.
His High Grades, Commander and Elenor, were just as lost as anyone would be for they hadn’t seen the point in visiting the Humans only for them to be told to convince the enemy they needed to kill to instead join their cause. It was pointless, more importantly, useless, and too taxing of them.
In the end, the reward wasn’t worth the risk. It wasn’t worth anything, but for so reason, they were not as upset since their High Ruler, in his wisdom, was as ecstatic as a child. If he was that excited, it could an that he had already begun brewing up sothing in his mind and was ready to carry it out.
"We have returned," Enor, barging through the doors of the Ethisian Council House, stord to his throne with his suit of armor drenched in blood, his body covered in dirt and with a few slight bruises, and his face glittering with excitent and an eagerness to begin doing what he was dying to do. "We have returned with great news."
"Returned from where High Ruler?" other High Grades rushed to Enor’s aid with a few hand servants to the High Ruler making quick haste to disrobe and clean him as he spoke. "Where have you been?"
"Where did you go?"
"It has been over a week, High Ruler," one of the allied rulers scread, showing a little bit of distaste at Enor’s tardiness. "People have been looking for you. Your disappearance nearly caused an appraisal with my people and yours."
"Patience, my trusted ally." Enor calmly replied while taking a seat on his throne. As soon as he did, the other allied rulers were notified imdiately and joined the Council which sparked a quick and hastily prepared eting.
With great excitent on his face, the Yrrejite, Haisojan, and Soxan rulers anxiously waited for the High Ruler to share the source of his excitent. Even his High Grade guards, advisors, and wife waited for the Ethisian to speak, so barely holding their containnt.
"Well?" Empress Elenor, having waited long enough, urged her mate to speak since she, like everyone else, was eager to know what made him disappear for a while and co back acting all excited. "Are you going to speak, High Ruler, or will you leave us all in suspense?"
"Sorry, I apologize." Enor answered, gathered his composure, and then began to speak the words that he knew his people and allies would be more than pleased to hear. "I bring good news to you my people, and my allies. Our old friends, the Original Humans, have pledged to fight for us in this War."
The Yrrejite, Haisojan, and Soxan rulers all shot up from their seats, followed by the Council leaders, allies, and even Empress Elenor. Now they all understood why Enor was ecstatic because they too beca that way.
Their excitent began to show, so taking it over the top while others struggled to contain themselves.
"Is this true, High Ruler?" the Yrrejite ruler spoke, his mouth grinning from ear to ear. "Is what you’re saying true?"
"You dare accuse our High Ruler of lying?" one High Grade took a step toward the Yrrejite whose own guards inched closer to the High Grade. One wrong word out of their mouths and both sides were going to beat the other to a bloody pulp.
"Speak wisely, High Grade," Enor raised his hand, prompting the High Grades to stand down. As to the Yrrejite, he looked them dead in the eye and said, "I speak the truth. That is what took a full week to do..."
"But High Ruler," Empress Elenor showed her dejection to the ordeal. Though she was pleased to hear the news, her excitent ca to a quick end as she continued saying, "you could have lost your life. You could have been added to that malevolent blood wall they pitched in our forests."
"Their forests," Enor made sure to correct his mate quickly, making sure that she too respected the law he set concerning the Humans and their settlent. "The forests belong to them now."
"The Empress makes a compelling point, High Ruler," of course, the Council mbers joined in on the conversation with each one showing their concern to the High Ruler. "You could have been killed and then we’d have to rush with making your son the new ruler."
"We an no offense to you, High Ruler," another mber added, "but your son is too engrossed in War that he won’t make a fit Ruler. He’s a better warrior than he is a ruler so you being alive and seeing this War’s end is of utmost importance to us."
"We agree," the Haisojan spoke his piece, showing that he, along with the Council mbers, agreed with each other. "We answer to you, not your son. Even though we pledged our allegiance to the Ethisian race, we do not know if our people will do the sa. The only reason we chose to help and fight with you is because of your knowledge and understanding of War, along with your leadership."
"The High Ruler wasn’t hard in any way," Elenor, the High Grade, assured the Council mbers, Empress, and allied rulers even though the scratches on Enor’s body said otherwise. "Commander and I made sure of it."
"Seriously? Commander?" the Empress scoffed again and just like she, those who knew about Commander’s situation joined her in undermining the Ethisian. "He couldn’t hold his weight against the Granian Human. I wouldn’t expect him to do anything aga..."
"Silence!!" the High Ruler barked, silencing his mate and those who joined her in scoffing and undermining the High Grade soldier. "Not a word from anyone else about this subject, do you understand?"
""Yes, High Ruler.""
"Good. Now, let this Council eting begin. We will first start with the Yrrejites and what they have discovered about their poison."
