rcenary Clone chs, machines designed for battle and hand-to-hand combat against creatures possessing colossal strength and builds.
These machines were compatible with most terrains ranging from snow, desert, thick vegetation, water, ice, rocks, and others which set them apart from other machines that couldn’t access most areas. Given the distinct terrains different planets across the galaxy had, these chs were designed to be as effective as possible in any and every bio.
The machines stood ten feet tall with two legs shaped like chicken legs with backward bending joints acting as knees. The feet of the chs were thick and wide with four toe-like extensions keeping them upright. On their ’waists’ sat a system that carried an egg-like cockpit which allowed it to turn three hundred and sixty degrees easily.
The cockpits were shaped like an egg with more straight edges instead of curved ones. Inside the ch was a wide enough sitting area that gave its Pilot a forty-five-degree angle view reinforced by its almost impenetrable tempered glass. The arms of the chs had one joint in the middle powered by heavy-duty hydraulic systems designed to lift heavy objects.
Though the chs didn’t have fingers, they made up for it with turrets and cannons at the end of the arms. The turrets were wide and powerful, strong enough to take out Earth’s war tanks and airship carrier. At the bottom of the turrets were hooks that made it easier for the pilots to hold onto most things during combat, like enemy chs, ships, and other things.
These designs, though effective, had a flaw that the Granians and other warrior races loved to exploit. Having a forty-five-degree angle made the Pilots have three blind spots, which were the left, right, and extre back of the machine. If one could move fast enough to dodge the motion sensors and detectors attached to the machine, they could have the chance to sneak on the Pilot and either take them out or rip the cockpit from its legs or even better, set charges to blow up the chs.
Lord Grim and Gravax, unfortunately, did not have explosive charges to set on the chs, but they had speed, durability, imnse strength, and Eneraflux. These two beings were two of the three strongest Granians on the battlefield given their Eneraflux abilities that enabled them to be formidable enemies on the battlefield.
Knowing this well, they made sure to exploit the blind spots of the chs by running to either side or back and slamming their bodies through the tallic appendages of the machines. With their already durable bodies coated with the energy, they were strong enough to pierce through the chs’ protective outer shells.
The chs fell quickly thanks to the efforts of Grim, Gravax, and the Granians on the top of the Wall. Due to this, the rcenary clones were commanded by the Ethisians to attack Grim and Gravax, a decision which they surely thought they’d use to win.
The rcenaries marched in hundreds and attacked the two Granians at once. Grim and Gravax, covered by the turret and cannon fire pouring down on clones. Despite having covering fire, it wasn’t enough to completely halt the advancents of the clones, and soon the two Granians found themselves overwheld. Fighting with all their strength, the Granians crushed their enemies brutally, killing them in creative ways.
Of the two, Grim’s thods of killing were brutal and deed "unnecessary" by Gravax, who’d simply punch a hole or two in their chests to put them down, while Grim would inject high levels of Eneraflux into his opponents, making their bodies crumble and implode under the imnse pressure of said energy.
Despite having that strength advantage, the rcenary numbers were simply too many to handle all at once. The Granians soon found their movents limited, and the congestion brought by the massive numbers made it slightly difficult for them to breathe, move, and even see.
Those on the turrets on the walls couldn’t offer much support either, despite their tireless efforts and raining energy attacks on clones.
"I thought the Mutants were going to help?" Gravax and Grim, standing with their backs pressed on each other, struggled to fight while waiting for the Humans to help. "What did you insinuate by Ace’s army?"
Grim, too engrossed in the fight, ignored Gravax, who began to struggle. With limited movents, the Granian was stuck with only defending himself rather than attacking the clones. However, even defending himself was futile due to the large number of clones swarming in each second.
"I thought Grim and that red guy would do...sothing," Jim and Skyler looked at the swarm of clones closing in on Grim and Gravax like ants raiding a giant insect. "Seems they too have limits."
"Not limits, Skyler," Jim explained, "their movents are limited. Instead of fighting separately, they chose to stick together so the enemy sacrificed those closest by overwhelming the two with their numbers."
While they witnessed the battle ensuing, Cherry and Ace remained a few ters behind with Ace looking at Anya’s wound. The wound had begun to rot, the injured flesh falling off her body with black, bulging veins moving upwards towards her chest. The Blood Knight thought she had removed all the poison from its bloodstream, but the wound showed otherwise.
Soon, she felt her strength leaving her body, and with that also went motor control over her abdominals.
"I don’t feel anything," Anya began to panic when she felt a loss of control over her abdominals and everything else downwards. She tried wiggling her toes, but even that beca more of a difficult challenge than she had hoped for. "I can’t...move my legs."
Like Anya, Ace tried draining the remaining poison in Anya’s bloodstream to try and allow room for regeneration, but even he had failed. The poison was spreading quickly, and with it ca a paralyzing agent that severed Anya’s control from her waist downward.
Cherry coagulated the blood around Anya’s wound to stop any further advancents while her brother sought other alternatives.

The Blood Bishop cursed his system and then turned his attention to the Citadel. The rcenary clones were too many for him to barge through, and the gates were sealed shut to prevent enemies from marching in. Since he didn’t have the ans of eradicating the poison, he figured that the Granians would have a way of analyzing what the poison was and healing the Blood Knight’s wound.
To get the help Anya needed, the Humans needed to get rid of the clones as fast as they could in the shortest amount of ti possible.
"We have to get her to the fortress," Ace spoke to the others while Cherry continued coagulating the blood around Anya’s wound. "I don’t think we have that much ti until this poison spreads to Anya’s heart, so we have to hurry. Jim, you and I will clear a wide enough path while sticking close to you. Skyler, let Cherry and Anya sit on top of you as you ride them to the Gates. If you two get there and they refuse to open, blow the gates off their hinges. We’ll handle the rest."
Jim, Cherry, and Skyler agreed to Ace’s plan, and together, they ford a line with Jim and Ace at the front and Skyler at the back, currently transforming into her large hyena-like beast form, which allowed her to carry Cherry and Anya.
