"I wished to see if you were soone worth following their every command."
"What’s that supposed to an?" Ace Underwood and his Conjured Blood Warrior, who previously went by Enoris, stood under the hot sun in a desert-like environnt. The two entities stared at each other after engaging in an altercation a few minutes ago.
The Blood Warrior knelt and asked for a na while its "creator" stood at a safe distance, trying to make sense of the situation. He never expected to hear his Blood Warriors speak, let alone reason with him. The fact that Enoris did so further disturbed and confused him.
"Since when did Blood Warriors possess autonomy?" he questioned but got no response. Needing answers urgently, the Blood Bishop summoned his System and asked for the aning of whatever was happening to him, but, as usual, the system did not give him an answer.
"Well, I’ve not gotten an answer, so let’s just play along with this thing."
"What would you have done to if I wasn’t soone worth following?" he engaged in conversation with specific questions targeted at finding the answers he needed. If those failed, he’d later on just move and regroup with the others.
"Then I wouldn’t do as you’d command to," she replied, "and I wouldn’t share my strength with you to accomplish whatever task you wish for to accomplish."
"According to you, am I soone worth following?" There was no response from Enoris aside from her asking for a na. This pinched Ace in the wrong way, making him feel as though it was a big waste of his ti. "Answer my question, Enoris."
"I do not wish to be called that na anymore."
"Why?"
"Because I no longer identify with my last organic life. That na belonged to an Ethisian with mories, feelings, and a life that was controlled/led by soone else. I am now a Blood Warrior, a creature ford from Blood Essence. Calling Enoris simply degrades my new form, for I am no longer her."
"So you don’t recall any of her mories? Her wishes? Plans? Ambitions? Nothing at all?"
"No, my Commander," that was the answer Ace looked for. Her calling him her Commander ant that she now saw him as her commander, soone worth following. "I only rember how to communicate and fight the way she did. Aside from that, my mory is blank. Back to my question. Can I have a na, Blood Commander?"
"Enoris is fine," Ace replied, not bothering to give any more thought to the na. "It suits you already and besides, I cannot be bothered to co up with another na..."
"But, I told you that..."
"Enough of that, Enoris," he interrupted her interruption. "Before I revert you, I have a question to ask. What’s that energy you were talking about? Earlier, you ntioned that you shared energy with . What exactly is it? Eneraflux?"
"As I said not so long ago, I have no other mories other than how to talk and fight," she replied. "I do not know the na of this energy. Perhaps you could ask soone else what it is, but only you and I can share it."
"Okay, that is all," Ace cut her off. "Return."
’Where am I now?’ Now that he was done with Enoris, the Blood Bishop was left to wonder where he was. Retracing himself to where he woke up from, he found a large tent-like facility erected strictly for him. The room only had the cylindrical container with shattered glass and green juices all over.
To the left was a series of monitors hooked to the container for the purpose of keeping watch over the young man’s vital organs and bodily behaviors. At the mont, the facility was empty and there was no one else around. Moving outside, Ace found three Granians "patrolling" with their weapons held in their hands.
Upon seeing Ace, they alerted the higher-ups who quickly ca to his side. The first to arrive was Lord Grim, escorted by Cherry and Huntress. Afterward, Lord Grania and One Horn arrived and welcod the Blood Bishop while also briefing him about what they had perford/accomplished and the state of the War.
The Blood Bishop, upon hearing what had happened so far, remained quiet as he contemplated what the Granians told him. Because of him, the Granians’ participation in the War was halted until he was resurrected from his comma. He and the higher-ups were going to participate in so form of retrieval mission to get back three of their lost main colonies, but that wasn’t the only problem.
"In these four months," Lord Grim went on to explain the other half of their problems, "the Ethisians have taken control of our planets of influence that are within the Middle Ring. With that, they’ve managed to cut off many of our supplies."
"In simpler terms," One Horn continued, "the Ethisians are going to starve us on purpose. Even though we’re capable of growing our own food, we can’t feed all of the immigrants who keep flocking in each day. To stop this, we’ll have to take back our colonies quickly."
"Aren’t our forces too small to do that?" Ace asked. "You said we barely have enough ships to pull a covert mission such as that one."
"I did and that’s why we, the ones strong enough to do so, are going to do so. For now, we only need to take one planet, send back supplies, and slowly strengthen our forces."
"Just one planet, Ace," Lord Grim concluded. "We’ll start with one until we have enough resources to get all of our fleets back."
"Aside from those on this planet, don’t you guys have other soldiers and ships?"
"They’re grounded too," Huntress spoke. "The Ethisians have got many of our troops grounded. They have the upper hand so that’s why we need to just get one back."
"To conclude, Mutant, we’ll start by taking back the Middle Ring’s planets and then go for the rest of our troops. Once that is settled, we’ll return the favor to the Ethisians and end this War for good. We must do this as quickly as possible before they dispatch their Mutants."
"How strong are we now compared to them?" Grim went silent montarily while Ace and Cherry waited for his response. Most of their training was so that they could beco stronger than the other Mutants and fight them without fear. However, Grim’s answer didn’t do them any justice.
"While the four of you have gotten stronger," Grim sighed, "the best you can do against their Mutants is perhaps severely bruise them, and that ans a lot, given that you’ve gotten much stronger than you were in such a short ti."
"What about you? Can you beat them?"
"If we could, we would have no need for the four of you."

[Nightfall.]
[Location: Granian Military Barracks]
One ship, filled with about two hundred Granian soldiers, prepared to take off with its course set for the Middle Ring in the Akrina Galaxy. Planet Grania was located in the center of the Inner Ring of the Akrina Galaxy so moving to the Middle Ring would take quite so ti.
In addition to that, the Inner Ring was swarming with Ethisian
ships and the ships of their allies solely to keep an eye on the Granians. If any activity took place, it was to be reported imdiately to the Ethisians, so it was going to be incredibly difficult to move out undetected.
Of course, to combat that, the Granians were going to leave under the cover of a simple trading ship, the kind that no one would suspect. Trading ships were "given clearance" to move in and out of the Planet, so using one to do their job was a smart move. However, trading ships didn’t co with any forms of weaponry so if their cover was blown, it was almost certain that they, the Granians, would die.
"For this mission, we’re heading into the Middle Ring to take one planet back. Once we do, we’re coming back to get rid of those damned ships surrounding our planet," Lord Grim debriefed the soldiers before they left. Aside from the two hundred, he, his mate Huntress, One Horn, Cherry, and Ace were the few who were selected to participate. "The five of us will move in quickly and silently take out all five command posts one at a ti. Once we do, only fifty soldiers will be allowed to co and take over the place. No one and I repeat, no one must make a sound or draw any attention to themselves. If you do, stop them before they try calling for help.
"The last one will be the most difficult to take so it’ll be the last. It’ll take all five of us to do it. Once it’s complete, we’ll call for the others to join us as we silently go for the second and third planets. After that, we’ll take the Ethisian ships and Ethisians as our slaves and then after that, we’ll retrieve our other colonies one at a ti before finally hitting the Ethisian colonies and then their planets. Is that understood clearly?"
""Yes, Lord Grim.""
