The Astronomical Gates; a series of large, colossal engineering achievents linked together in ring-like forms, ford the barriers that separated the Akrina Galaxy into three ranks. The Outer Gate was known as the edge of the Akrina Galaxy. The area consisted of smaller stars, smaller and less inhabitable planets, and a couple of lifeforms which were mostly primitive. These planets, which were not desirable to live in, were rich in minerals such as Etil, an extrely hard and yet ridiculously lightweight tallic alloy that consisted most of the Granian ships and equipnt. This alloy was so valuable that different life forms battled with each other just to control the planets rich in them.

The Middle Gate consisted of the more economical side of this Galaxy. With millions of stars and habitable planets, it beca a haven for lifeforms seeking asylum and given that billions of other species communed with each other, it was filled with multiple cultures, ways of life, and orders in which things were conducted. However, having different life forms living in the sa area would often cause simple wars to break out. So of these wars were hours long while others exceeded more than six months if one was to use the Earth calendar system.

The Center Gate, which was at farthest to get to, consisted of the three most powerful Life forms in the entire Akrina Galaxy. The Ethisians, The Granians, and The Parsians. Held together by three colossal blue stars, the three species of lizard-like aliens lived in close proximity with each other, even though they had their own borders to make sure none went into the other’s space.

The Ethisians took the biggest star which was at the north western Star which was surrounded by other smaller stars with different planets. Making a haven for themselves, the Ethisians made sure to keep to their business and only moved out to conquer different planets that they seed fit to conquer.

The Granians took the South Eastern star which was the second largest with smaller suns that had even more planets surrounding each other. Almost each solar system had about ten planets. Of the ten, three would occasionally be composed of gas while the remaining ones were habitable to suit life. Since the Granians had more planets of their own, this caused a constant feeling of hatred between them and the Ethisians who sought to take so for themselves.

Occasionally, the Ethisians would try to trade planets for etil farms, slaves, and other precious clusters that would seem beneficial to the Granians. However, whenever their efforts were ignored or not appreciated, it always resulted in war followed by the Granians loosing lots of planets that were either theirs or gotten through conquests. This went on back and forth for generations, allowing the future generation of both species to hate each other even the more.

The Parsians, a smaller, more subtle and calm civilization, took the smallest blue star and created a self-sustainable, safe haven civilization for themselves. The Parsians made sure never to ask either the Granians or Ethisians for help for they feared that either sides would as them for help in the occasion that another senseless war would break out.

This type of hierarchy existed in other galaxies and universes, an agreent that was made over trillions of years ago. With the Akrina Galaxy being the closest to the Milky Way, it allowed the Granians to eventually stumble upon the little, single habitable planet that existed in it.

Moving on, the Granian mother ship, accompanied by two, slightly smaller ships, arrived at the first Gate that acted as an entrance into the edge of Akrina. Ahead of them were three, closely spaced planets that were a good distance away from the small red sun which they orbited. The planets had tons of tallic projectiles protruding from almost every corner with occasional spaces filled with forests, lakes, and other geographical landmarks one would expect to see.

The center planet, being the biggest of the tree, was once a colony for the Granians until the Ethisians took it from them and handed it over to a smaller, lest powerful civilization. Once that happened, a good number of the Granian’s etil supply dropped drastically, aning that they needed to get it back as quickly as possible.

"Approaching Colony Atmosphere....." the announcent was made and everyone in the Granian ships prepared themselves to land. For their safety, Grim had ordered most of his Elite warriors to stand by and act as protection in case any Ethisians were present.

anwhile, the four cylindrical containers that held the blood mutants were taken to the main exit of the ship, ready to be released once they landed. Moving at a steady pace, the Granian Mothership penetrated through the planet’s thick atmosphere and landed in a vast, open space with no signs of life anywhere.

The planet was bitterly cold with small puddles of what seed to be snow scattered all over. The small sun in the sky provided close to no warmth, making temperatures in this place drop to below zero. The cold, stiff atmosphere of the planet made breathing a great challenge. To combat this, the Granians had special fluids they’d consu once in a while to force their lungs to adapt and consu the air needed.

"We have made contact...." The large hatch doors of the three ships opened, allowing light to move into the ship. Most, if not all, of those on the ship were pleased to have made it back onto solid ground, having spent quite so ti in the deep, empty vacuum of space.

When the hatches finaly dropped, Four Granians, each dressed in protective armor, rolled the four cylinfers out of the ship and onto the solid ground before they themselves moved back in. Shortly after, the ships took flight and headed back into space for they did not want to stay too long in fear that the inhabitants of the planet could alert the Ethisians at any mont.

"We have a visual on the subjects. No response coming from them at the mont." In the main control room were Grim, Huntress, One Horn, Grand Master, a couple other generals and other Granians each watching from the live cara feed provided to them. The subject they were interested in were the four blood mutants who were still half asleep in the cylinders.

"Cause imdiate stimulation." Grim gave the order and watched as the cylinders changed. The glass surface started to crack as the green waters drained onto the cold surface of the planet. As soon as the last amounts of the liquids emptied out, the cylinders shattered and the four blood mutants fell onto the ground.

"The containers have been drained. The evolution process will begin imdiately."

*GASP*

"AAHHHH!! My chest!!" the three blood mutants winced in excruciating pain as their bodies forcefully readjusted due to the new planet’s hostile conditions. As ntioned earlier, the Granians drunk a special fluid that made their lungs evolve and adapt so that they’d breathe different air types from different planets. The blood mutants, however, were left to soak inside that said liquid with made their bodies evolve permanently. This ant that, unlike the Granians, they did not need to drink the fluids repeatedly just to breath.

*COUGH* As the pain subsided, the four humans leaned over and coughed large chunks of blood, useless cells that died during the evolving process and dark red chunks that looked like coffee grounds.

[System Online.]

[Symbiotic Evolution in Progress. Your body’s in a new hostile environnt. To make sure you survive, the symbiote is going to evolve your body and make it more compatible.]

’Wait. What does it an by evolve my body?’ Ace asked genuinely for he knew that it was going to be an excruciatingly painful experience. The symbiote instinctively latched onto Ace’s bodily systems and started to change, grow, reduce, add, and remove parts that the body needed.

To compensate for the planet’s weaker gravitational pull, his bones grew holes in them, making him lighter and allowing him to move freely. To compensate for the cold weather, his skin was made thicker with two more layers of fat. His muscles were coated with lactic acid in order to make his movents more versatile but also keep his muscles from over exerting themselves on his bones. To compensate with the dense atmospheric air, his eyes developed a second layer of its components to enhance his vison, his nose increased to allow more air in and out, and his ears grew larger to enhance his hearing sensitivity.

As much as that sounded pleasing to the ear and scientifically impossible, the process was excruciatingly painful. As the body changed rapidly, lots of injuries would occur from ti to ti, causing Ace and the other three blood mutants to throw up what their body deed as useless.

[Your stats have been increased by five points.]

Since he was lighter, it ant that he could move faster and attack at a much quicker rate, thus seeming reasonable for his stats to increase.

[Greetings Blood Mutants.] A pop up nu showed in front of each other the dead mutant’s faces. At first, Ace thought it was a part of his system but when he looked over to the others, he noticed how they too had panels of their own.

’Do they have systems as well?’ He wondered.

[This systematic panel has been designed to let you know which missions you are going to partake in. Please follow the instructions given to ensure one hundred percent completion.]

[Mission: Travel twenty kiloters north and regain the Etil Mine. Be cautious for the planet’s filled with hostile and wild life forms.]
