I heard a purr, wait... I flicked my eyes open, a purr?! Did Dace just purr?! Not a nacing growl but a purr?
He definitely did. Deep, continuous, and soft to the point a shiver caught my body again, why does it sound husky to my ears, or was it just ? It caused a very irresistible feeling to mark my body.
I gasped when he rested his head on my lap, I froze with wide eyes seeing his action, he kept moving his head against my body in a gentle manner, he was behaving like a... cat?
I couldn’t resist a smile on my lips as I watched his gesture, his eyes were closed as he rested himself on my lap. It was just his head but he was super heavy, but I can’t complain because I didn’t want him to stop at all. Watching him right now at ease as he rubbed his head against my lap gave
solace and it liquefied my heart.
He was so fucking cute right now! And I was dying to touch him! So I did, but I was cautious not to stir him up, I slowly moved my hand to his mane, my heart slamming loud beats, and then with a very deep gulp, I squeezed my eyes shut and touch him, a whimper escaped
because I thought the worse, but rather I got more purring sound.
I opened just one of my eyes to be sure and a breath of relief washed over
seeing he was still relaxed. I exhaled sharply as I shaky ran my hand up and down his mane gently and his chest vibrated in a contentnt sound.
A smile pressed against my lips and I kept petting him, I noticed his ears twitched too.
"I miss you Dace" my chest was suddenly heavy, I miss his smile, his face, and most importantly his voice, how much I craved for him to say my na.
"Co back to , please"
He snarled and I flinched at the sound. His head shocked again and his teeth clenched.
"Dace"
He pulled away and I was up on my feet, I was worried because I felt it, sothing was happening to him. He growled loudly and it caused the trees to shake from it, he held his head and stumbled like he had no sense of direction.
"Dace!" I panicked.
He fell into the brook, and I screeched.
"Dace" I mumbled, not knowing what to do right now. And then my heart leaped when he broke out of the water, I watched him leap out with shaky eyes and held onto the tree. Gripped it tightly and he growled again but this ti it chid like he was in pain. That was when I heard it... the loud terrifying sound of his bones snapping.
His growl beca more clamorous and I covered my mouth with my hands as the terrifying sound continued. It was heartbreaking to hear because he was in pain and I couldn’t stop the tears that stread down my cheeks as I sobbed and watched him revert.
His fur shed off his body, and everything along with his bones and posture went back to his human form, he wasn’t growling like a beast now, but rather a short cry sound as he groaned and gripped the tree further with his hand, as the shift ended.
I was a sobbing ss now and my hand fell to my sides. "D-Dace"
I heard his pants now and his grasp to catch his breath.

further courage to kiss him more greatly. His hand road to my waist and gripped

Finally able to hear his sonorous voice, I darted my eyes to his, they looked at
broken, confused, and sad. And I lted just by his gaze for I wanted nothing more than to take his pain away.
"Yes," I said softly.

like he gained the whole world in an instant. I saw it explode in his hazels, relief, joy, and sothing behind it I could finally read and then he smashed his lips on mine and I welcod it with a moan.
