I ca to it... but it’s a really hard feat for , for one it took so ti before my eyes adjust to the blur and my senses picked up leisurely, it took forever but at so point, I got a better view of my surroundings, the details were a problem but my vision was okay, I could recognize what’s before . Is this Emilia’s room? The style, everything, this is definitely her room...
"Hey sleepy head"
At the llifluous voice, I turned to a sitting posture beside
with a faint smile.
"You can see
I can take that as good"
"Emilia?"
"Yeah, it’s , are you in pain or anything?"
I shook my head before bringing my hand to feel it, I noticed a drip attached to it, ha great, needles! I whined ntally.
"That’s good, you slept for a whole day, got your aunt worried, and finally she goes ho to sleep herself, she was worried sick, and stayed up late watching you"
"My aunt?" I groaned.
"Yep you got everybody worried"
"What happened?" I grumbled trying to recall but my brain was still processing.
"You don’t rember?"
"I-" I gasped when it ca in like a full storm, the school, the Manticore, Dace!
"Dace!"
"Whoa easy!" She held
steady as I sat up abruptly. "It was hard enough getting you two separated to get treated" she snapped. "Please don’t make this worse," she said with a sigh.
"Please tell , Emilia, is he okay? He was bleeding so badly and I didn’t know what to do... Please tell , is he okay?"
"Yes Emma, yes, now calm down for fucks sake, it’s gonna take a whole lot of that wound to kill him"
I sighed in relief but I was still agitated. "B-But he said the Manticore has silver on them it’s poisonous to you guys"
"Yes," she admitted with a nod. "Trust
it wasn’t an easy feat, but nothing my mom can’t handle. With ti the silver will lt off in his bloodstream, and he will heal but..."
"But?!"
"He can’t go full shift for so ti that’s all, nothing life-threatening okay? Now would you please calm down/"
I ran my fingers through my spread-out hair.
"Fuck even if I say that you’re still not relaxing"
I shook my head, giving her pleading eyes.
"You can’t see him right now, he needs ti to-"
I took her hand and she exhaled sharply. "I told them this won’t work, dammit," she said with clenched teeth.
"I will just check on him that’s all, I will leave him to rest, I promise"
She huffed. "Got
convinced there," she said, reaching for my hand and taking off the needle, I hissed but she quickly placed cotton on it and I rubbed my wrist to relieve my hand before grabbing my glasses I noticed on the nightstand and wearing them.
"Thanks"
"Whatever, can you stand?"
"I think so," I said, taking off the sheets from my body and I gasped. Emilia had a devious smirk now.
"You weren’t expecting
to dress you in PJ, were you? Where’s the sexiness in that?"
As she ranted on I observed the lacy white nightgown she made
wear, but I only just cleared my throat, I knew Emilia and her choice for fashion would definitely rub off on , she was gradually making
her dressing doll. if it wasn’t just her seeing
on this I would have pulverized in embarrassnt.
I rose to my feet.
"You okay?"
"Really I’m fine, It’s nothing serious"
"Okay," she shrugged.
"I will go by myself I will be fine"

It didn’t take long. I was already in Dace’s suite. I walked straight upstairs slightly hurrying because I was frantic to see him and I couldn’t think of anything else. I stopped just at the door taking a deep long breath before I opened it.
There he was on the wide bed, his head turned to the other side, with his chest rising and falling I figured he was fast asleep. A smile found my lips, he was resting, and there was no need to go to him right now. I was truly glad he was okay, but I will never stop blaming myself for this state he was in currently, I could still picture the pain he went through, it felt like mine. He still shifted and carried
all the way back here even as I passed out from fatigue.
"I’m sorry" I mumbled taking a step back to close the door but I stilled when he turned his head to , a smile on his lips, he looked like he just woke up because his eyes were half open, his hair was all ssy but still perfect and as usual he had on just sweat pants leaving his glorious bare chest for my eyes to feast upon.
He blinked and he was fully awake now. "Are you wearing lacy nightwear?" he asked in that deep appealing voice of his and it called , it tugged
towards him but I resisted, I only ca to check on him, he needed to rest and I have only awoken him from it, great job Emma.
My grip tightened on the doorknob as I found my voice. "I-I just ca to check on you," I said with a sweet smile. "Sorry for waking you, you should get so rest"
"Do you want
to co to you? Because I can see it, you don’t wanna leave"
Yes I didn’t and his words didn’t affect , I was itching to go to him and kiss him senseless, but I remained where I was. "I do. But I should leave" I mumbled, turning to leave but my legs betrayed .
"Fuck it" I cussed turning on my heel and walking to him, he watches
in amusent, this was so like him... he knew I can’t just leave like that so I gave him what he wanted.
I climbed on top of him and kissed him, the few tis were apart were covered and the loneliness was settled for, held my waist tightly as our lips road endlessly, brought
back, It was better than waking up, I felt more alive and my body humd in delight, I didn’t want this to end neither does he because his hand road my waist and back endlessly as our fierce kiss continued.
"You look so damn good in this’’ he groped my peeking ass from under my nightwear and I moaned heavily. "Did anyone see you in this?" he demands with a hint of anger in his eyes, oh my possessive tiger, he never ceases to amaze .
"No, just Emilia, this was her choice of a sleeping outfit"
"Good"
Our mouths joined again and neither of us wanted to stop because the coalition of our lips was just too fantastic. I moved, wanting to feel the lower part of him, he groaned but definitely not of pleasure.
"I’m sorry" I just realized my kneecap touched the bandage just at his lower abdon, by the left. Now I’m so regretful so I tried to pull away but he pinned
to his side with my leg over his waist.
"Don’t even think about leaving"
"You need rest"
"I do but with you here" he mumbled burying his face in the crook of my neck, I sighed closing my eyes, his nose movent caused a spark to my body and his hand secured tightly around my waist was even better.
"Don’t stop" I mumbled out of sheer pleasure.
He kissed all the way to my chin and back to my lips, it just feels so good, the tender touches, his slow passionate kisses, it weaken and both illuminated
and it made my chest flutter with a newfound feeling I can’t explain, it was heavy and yet so light, loud and yet so quiet and it was all because of him here with , gluing
to his side like I was born to be here.
His hand slid and rubbed my ass. I’m having a feeling he likes doing that a lot, I just hope he won’t...
I yelped when he smacked it, he chuckled pulling away.
"You love doing that don’t you"
"You know
too well" he leaned for another kiss but I stopped him.
"Dace" I began as my bright expression fell.
"What’s wrong?" he asked worriedly.
"I’m sorry because of

"Shhh... baby, I know what you’re gonna say don’t say it"

"Soone was in danger, you saw it coming and you went to help, it’s the most human thing to do, so don’t bla yourself for acting on sothing good"

and I could see it all through his dark hazels, there was no questioning that, so I ended it with a nod leveling my gaze but his finger beneath my chin brought my eyes back to his beautiful hazels, he smiled that signature smile of his... stretching his lips broadly and lting my heart further.
"So don’t worry yourself my Female, nor of it is your fault"
