Suddenly a profound robust growl that shook the entire hall ca through, even the windows shook, I was afraid they would break just by the speeding vibration, it stopped like a turned-off switch and deadly silence filled us.

Just against the wall was a creature I have never seen, it made dread, unlike anything I have ever felt creep through my body. The last ti I felt such was when I set my eyes on that red-haired vampire and when his fang sank my skin, I was getting the exact sa vibe. What is this?
The head of a lion but completely different because I could see human facial characteristics, teeth sharpened like endless needles as it bared them, the body of a lion, dark brown, with the hairs standing in alert like it was about to assu its rage upon us.
It wriggled low on all fours against the wall like it was about to pounce, I noticed the dangerous wings against its back matching the brown color of its skin, and its tail gave a hissing sound. I wondered why.
"Emma, run now!" Dace barked and I was finally snapped out of my mind, I felt the girl hold onto
tightly, almost having a panic attack.
"D-Dace" I was still hesitant. Fear, or the urge not to leave Dace, maybe both!
The creature roared, going impossibly low like it was ready on the charge... that was when I saw its swinging tail, was that a snake?
"RUN NOW!" he shouted and I noticed his bone was snapping, he was shifting.

again, I grip her hand and made a fast run to the next hall without looking back. My breathing was hoarse and my heart throbbing, I don’t know how long we ran but I knew far enough because the roaring and crawling sound was fading.
My breath hitch... my body numb as well but I just ran as fast as my legs can carry , panting.
"What are you doing?!" She barked at
forcibly removing her grip from mine. "How could you leave him? He’s gonna die facing that monster! Is he stupid?"
I was still like ice.
"Why did you leave him?!"
Do you think I didn’t know that? I just let the guy I care about to face that terrifying beast alone. I knew he was like a killing machine but I saw it all... that thing was sothing he hadn’t matched strength with and it made

I shook, my words lost and my body numb, I was shivering without knowing it, I was the one who brought Dace here, maybe to his death.

"WAIT!" I ran after her but she was too fast, that was when the crash ca again and just at the opening of the hall two bodies rolled like the thunder of roar and claws so I did the only thing I could. I ran without looking back and hid where I deed safe.
But that didn’t stop the tears and the pain, I covered my ears and squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dace" I was worried I was terrified, I wanna go to him but my body was gripped and I knew it would only make it worst for him, he was trying to protect , and going back was stepping on his will, so I stayed, stayed until everything was died silent, so silent.

I was even more numb when he suddenly held a knife to my neck, was he being serious right now? His eyes were cold and unreadable, was he gonna kill ?

Geez I should definitely get an award because I just told a lie like writing, I had no choice, I don’t trust him.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him, I wasn’t just gonna be the only one getting interrogated here, I need so answers from him.
