Chapter 189: Black Divinity

"Out of my way!" Riley yelled most likely growling as the white rod she held pushed Jade out of her sight. She was getting tired of being held back by that bitch, she needed to get to Liam. Making sure she was buried in the rubbles, knowing it would take ti before she woke up or attempted another attack, she got out.

Riley walks out, pulling her mask off her face, her features holding deep worry, suddenly she felt a deep shiver overwhelm her body like spiders were crawling her skin, and almost like her energy was signaling sothing, she couldn’t explain what she felt but Silver seed to.

’This feeling... it feels so familiar,’ Silver said in her head.

"Liam? Is it Liam?" Riley demands out loud, but at the back of her head she knew it didn’t feel like Liam’s, there was sothing off about it, this rage and this deep feeling of blood lust that held power, she knew Liam had blood lust mostly when he was angry or in battle but this was far deeper than it, that it almost scared her.

’No... this is different,’ Silver said with certainty.

So she was right then, then what was it? And who did it belong to? Was it Seth?

’Omari,’ she added.

’Omari?’ Riley thought puzzled, wasn’t that the first ghoul?

In anticipation, and unable to keep herself further away from this, she rushed to the next hall where she left Liam but then she froze when she saw the scene before her.

The whole area was destroyed, everything in rubles it was a miracle the ceiling still stood but for how long? it made a cranking sound... but that wasn’t the only thing that made her heart slam loudly but the being before her, the re sight of it sent fear and chill to her insides. The blood lust, the power, it was coming from that. This was Liam?... there was no way that unearthly being was her husband, there was no possible way for this was on called for, was this even real? What manner of presence was this? It was so dominating, that she felt like an ant in its midst, like an insignificant being that could be crushed just by the re feel of it.

Her trembled eyes were set upon the very unearthly being before her.

A 10 feet tall figure but not in claw form but rather a male figure, shirtless, skin black like coal and smooth, she didn’t need to get close to knowing how hard that skin was like he was made of so tal but it was skin?

Pants made of dark aura as it waved like a cloth of shadow, his hair black and long like a dark aura waving like flas, a spiky crown around his head, simply levitating on top by will.

With his ripped and torn muscles he stood high and tall like a divine being, black dangerous wings graced his back, spread out dangerously, a staff at hand taller than him, the body embodied with a symbol she couldn’t quite make of, made of gold and gleaming.

Riley stood behind this being unable to even move an inch from where she was, she’d never felt so afraid of a re presence before, this was out of the ordinary. Scared that if she moved she might catch the attention of this being.

Her eyes then traveled to Seth against the wall, compressed in it, bleeding out endlessly, spike rods pinned him down, his shoulders, and legs, his head bent downwards, she couldn’t tell if he was alive or not. But seeing the grueso state he was in, she was certain this being before her was responsible.

Her shaky eyes then drift back to the being. She was cautious and alert but she couldn’t stop her heart from hamring in her chest. Suddenly she felt an ardent familiarity radiating from this being, her eyes almost widened from her socket.

"L-L-Liam?"

The being’s head snaps to where she was, Riley gasping when she stared into his void eyes, the color gold.

He growled deeply, his canines in front long and deadly. He flings the head of the Beast to a corner, it rolls close to the headless body, and unknown to them it regenerates.

The being never took his eyes off Riley as she stood there immobile.

A wide smirk spread across his lips in a dangerous twisted matter.

’RILEY GET OUT OF HERE NOW’ Silver shouts in her head.

Riley was puzzled by her words, there was no way that being or most likely her husband would hurt her right? Well, she thought wrong as with one plunge of the staff he held, it ca at Riley with lightning speed, she didn’t almost see it co as it plunged the wall behind her, the force slit her cheek... she was lucky it was just that or it would have taken her head.

"What’s happening?!" Riley said with widening eyes.

’That’s not Liam... that’s Omari!’ Silver hissed.

"What?" Riley said, stunned.

’He has taken over his body, he’s not in his right senses, he will kill anyone in sight’ Silver hissed.

"No" Riley shakes her head, unable to believe it.

Omari growled deeply, he stretched his hand forward calling his staff, it shakes.

Riley’s eyes widen in realization as she quickly ducks, the staff coming for her head from behind.

She raised her head but all air from her lungs left her as she was smashed against the wall hard, his fist around her neck tightly as she struggled to break free. She would have fought back yes... but how can she bring herself to?

"L-L-Liam," she said in a struggle, her hand tightly against his hand crushing her windpipe. Tears filled her eyes.

Omari’s smirk broadened more, he held up his staff with his right hand ready to pierce her head, as he drew it back.

"L-L-Liam" Riley said as the tears fell more, hoping and praying that his na got to him but it was like she was speaking to a wall, he didn’t flinch, he didn’t stop, he was ready to plunge her head to pieces with that staff.

Omari growled deeply.

"My, my... I didn’t expect this to happen so soon" a voice ca in.

Making Omari freeze his action of plunging his staff at Riley’s head, Omari’s head snaps to where the voice ca from.

A man was present, in a black tux, his hands behind his back covered in white gloves, his face could not be seen, it was hidden behind an Anubis mask, it almost seed like his head, maybe it was.

"Least be careful Omari or you will strangle your wife to death," the man said.

Omari growled.

"Ges tes rastin verina gos ris" Omari said in a demonic double voice, but also had a male voice to it.

"Res fres et des runa tin Omari" the strange man said.

"ANUBIS!!!" Omari roared.

"Ah you rember

now... then there’s no need for a reintroduction... so I will ask for the last ti," Anubis said in a calm tone.

"Let. Her. Go. Before you do sothing you will regret" he said.

Omari’s smirk broadens.

Riley, still struggling for breath, was unable to keep up with what was unfolding, all she needed right now was air.

But Omari didn’t seem to move an inch.

"Ah as stubborn as ever... as you wish then you asked for it," Anubis said as an unknown wind blew around him.

"Omari" Anubis hissed.

In a flash of speed, Omari was pushed off away from Riley, slamming to the wall hard.

Riley gasps for breath as she coughed holding her sore throat, his claw marks still evident on her neck... it didn’t seem to heal.

"Take a deep breath Riley... you’re gonna be okay," Anubis said now in front of Riley.

Still holding her throat, she raised her head to stare into his masked face.

"Who... who are you?!" She asked in pain from her sore throat.

At that mont Omari broke free, roaring dangerously.

"Your question will be answered in due ti... for now I have a seal to tighten," he said, even with his masked face, Riley could tell he was smiling.

"Let’s get your husband back shall we" he states standing upright while cracking his knuckles.

"The longer he stays in that form the longer he will be consud in Omari’s essence, and that won’t end well for any of us," he said.

Riley’s shaky eyes fixed on the strange man that seed to know more than them, who was he? Her eyes then drift to her husband, going on a rampage with his deadly roar that shocked the very earth they stood on.

Riley shook in extre fear at the re sound... Anubis didn’t seem to flinch at the sound.

"After centuries of slumber... it is only natural his blood lust is as high as this" Anubis said, his tone laced with seriousness.
