Chapter 106: Chapter 106: Fool Blinded by Love

They stayed locked together, kissing deeply while the aftershocks faded.

Mark was still buried inside her pussy when Stella’s phone started ringing on the nightstand. She imdiately wanted to reach for it, but Mark’s hand clamped over her waist, pinning her down.

"Stay," he murmured, his voice thick. "The call can wait."

Stella waited a heartbeat, her eyes flickering toward the device. "Baby, let

get up. I need to take my contraceptive."

Mark looked at her, his expression softening as he pressed a gentle kiss to her arm.

"Why?" he asked quietly. "I’m old enough to be a father, Stella. You don’t need that. If you get pregnant, I’ll take responsibility."

He paused, searching her face.

"I told you... let’s get married. Take

to your parents so we can start planning the wedding."

Stella pulled back slightly, her expression cooling. "Baby, I understand, but..."

"There’s no ’but,’" Mark insisted. "I love you, and you love . So why are you holding back? You used to complain about my brother, but Matteo has changed. So... what’s the excuse now?"

Stella’s face twisted. "Why are you saying I’m making excuses? You don’t even understand !" She grew angry, abruptly sliding off him. The sudden loss of her warmth felt like a slap. She started gathering her things as if to leave.

Mark rushed to her, panic rising. "I’m sorry! I didn’t an it like that. I wasn’t saying you’re making excuses, I just..."

"I told you not to talk about marriage!" Stella snapped, turning on him.

"Are we not happy like this? Why do we need a piece of paper? Why are you so desperate? Why are you so obsessed with getting married?"

Mark bowed his head, defeated. "I’m sorry. I’m very sorry. I won’t ntion it again until you’re ready."

Only then did Stella calm down. She smiled slightly.

"You know how much I love you... Yet you always get on my nerves with this marriage talk."

"I’m sorry," Mark said softly. "You know I love you. That’s why I keep saying it."

He leaned in and kissed her.

At first, Stella didn’t respond.

Mark pulled back just a little, his voice low as he murmured another apology against her lips.

Only then did she relax and kiss him back.

When they finally pulled away, Mark pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head before heading to the bathroom.

When he ca out, Stella was already waiting for him.

She smiled.

"Baby..."

She walked closer, her voice soft and sweet again.

"Honey... I need so money."

Mark paused, lowering the towel from his hair. "How much?"

Stella stepped closer, taking his arm with a soft smile. "It’s not that much... just $85,000."

Mark stared at her. "Eighty-five thousand? Stella, I just sent you a huge amount a few days ago. What do you need this for?"

"Are you giving it to

or not?" she snapped, her voice rising. "Why so many questions? Fine, keep your money. I’ll go shower and leave right now."

Mark looked at her, confused. "I haven’t even—"

"I don’t need your money," Stella cut in sharply. "I’m leaving."

She turned to go.

"Wait... no," Mark said quickly, reaching out and catching her arm. "I’m sorry. I’ll send it before you leave tomorrow."

Stella imdiately broke into a bright smile, kissing him deeply. "That’s my baby. Actually... make it $90,000."

Mark nodded slowly. "Okay, baby."

Just then, her phone rang again. She grabbed it quickly and went into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

Mark stood in the middle of the room, Matteo’s words echoing in his head: She doesn’t want a husband... she wants an ATM.

When she ca out of the bathroom, Mark had already picked out clothes for her from the ones she kept at his house.

She changed into them.

They spent the rest of the day indoors, eating and watching movies, but sothing felt off to Mark. The atmosphere felt light, almost empty.

By night, Stella fell asleep first.

Mark had never checked her phone before. He respected her privacy.

But when a ssage lit up the screen in the dark, sothing in him shifted. Curiosity, or maybe instinct took over.

He tried to unlock it, but the password he knew had been changed. He tried different combinations again and again, his heart pounding, until finally, it opened.

The last ssage read:

Jude: After you collect the money from him tomorrow, leave imdiately. I’m already missing you and I can’t wait to fuck you.

Mark sat up, his blood turning to ice. He scrolled through the chat. It wasn’t just a fling. Stella had been cheating on him with this man for two years, nearly half of their five-year relationship. Every cent he had given her had been spent on this other man.

But the worst part was their plan. They were going to use Mark’s money to relocate ... and start a new life together.

She was planning a wedding with this stranger while refusing to even discuss one with Mark. He saw their nudes, their sex videos... videos where Stella moaned with a passion he had never seen, acting like a porn star for another man’s cara.

He used his phone to record the ssages on her screen.

Then he opened her gallery and sent the videos and photos from her phone to his own.

He made sure he had everything.

Every ssage.

Every video.

Every picture.

He walked out of the room, his movents slow and chanical.

As he made his way downstairs, the thoughts wouldn’t stop.

I gave you everything... more than you deserved.

And this is what I get in return?

Why, Stella...? What did I do wrong?

I thought we were in love...

I didn’t know it was all a lie.

He reached the living room.

Tony was sitting on the couch, a cigarette between his fingers. He looked up the mont Mark walked in.

"Do you need anything?" Tony asked.

Mark didn’t answer. He just stood there, staring at Tony with empty eyes.

Tony frowned, imdiately putting out his cigarette as he got to his feet. He walked over, taking in Mark’s pale, almost lifeless expression.

"Hey," Tony said quietly. "What happened?"

The weight of five years of deception finally crushed him. Mark’s knees hit the floor with a heavy thud, his body trembling under the force of the realization.

Tony caught him, his powerful grip holding Mark steady. "Hey, hey! Calm down," Tony urged, his voice softer than usual. "Just tell

what happened, Mark. Talk to ."

Mark couldn’t find the words at first. He looked up at Tony, his eyes red, filled with a pain deeper than any wound.

"I’m a fool, Tony," he finally choked out, his voice shaking. "Matteo was right. I’m just a useless lover boy who refused to see the truth. I let her play

for five years."

Tony stared at him, waiting for the rest, but Mark didn’t explain. Instead, he reached out, grabbing the front of Tony’s shirt and pulling him into a desperate, crushing hug. He buried his face in Tony’s shoulder and let out a broken sob, the sound echoing through the quiet living room.

Tony didn’t ask another question. He stood there, steady as ever, and wrapped his arms around Mark. He held him through the shaking, letting him break down in silence.

"It’s okay," Tony murmured, his hand coming up to pat Mark’s back with a rough kind of comfort. "It’s okay, our soft boy. Breathe."

Mark cried, his voice breaking. "She used ... all because I loved her. I’m in pain, Tony. This is too much for my heart."

After a long mont, the atmosphere in the room shifted. The softness in Tony’s eyes faded, replaced by sothing cold... sothing dangerous.

He pulled back just enough to look Mark in the face, his expression sharpening into that of a predator.

"Just tell

who needs to die," Tony whispered, his voice sharp as a blade. "I’ll take care of anyone who hurt you."

He looked straight into Mark’s eyes.

"Tell

who did this to you."

Mark stared at him, searching his face.

"Speak," Tony said quietly.
