"Are you sure you brought to your ho?" Haruki asked, stressing the last word.

The doctor looked at him solemnly before nodding as he responded, "Yes. This is where I live, my... ho."

"Oh," Haruki said before casually walking to the long black sofa in the living room. He sat down before lying on the bed and closed his eyes.

Since the man said it was his ho, he chose not to ask any more questions. He thought of all the hotels and condos he had stayed in and felt he had not added anything to those houses, and this was probably what the doctor did.

On a second note, the doctor might have designed the house to be this way because this is what he wanted. He didn’t try to question the man or find out the answer to this question.

"Are you going to sleep here?" Hiroshi walked to him and asked.

"Hmm," Hiroshi responded without opening his eyes. "Get everything ready for ."

The doctor looked around, wondering what he had to get ready for Haruki. With a clean mind, he thought of blankets, toiletries, but going any further, it could be lube and maybe a condom. He decided to restrain his thoughts because going any further, he had none of those at ho.

He went into his room, it was neat as always, the bed lay, the floor was neat, everything in place, just like when he went to work. He went to the bathroom to confirm the availability of new toiletries.

He opened the drawer that was stocked with fresh supplies. He pulled out a new electric toothbrush and two towels. When he was done, he went back to the living room.

Haruki was still on the sofa with his eyes closed peacefully. Haruki’s fra did not fit perfectly into the sofa since he was lying straight on it. He looked a bit uncomfortable in it, dressed fully in his work attire.

He walked to the sleeping man and squatted down in front of him. He reached cautiously to touch the man’s forehead by pushing away stray hairs. The man’s temperature appeared normal. He couldn’t say Haruki was sick, but he knew more than anyone that the man was tired.

Sleeping on the sofa was not going to give him a good rest, and he might wake up with a few aches instead, so he called out his na softly, "Haruki."

He couldn’t rember ever calling the man’s na out blatantly after all, before being his lover and his first love, Haruki was his boss. However, he felt no need to abide by useless deference since the man ca into his ho on his own accord.

Such unprompted visitation was a one-of-a-kind, and he intended to make Haruki feel at ho, warm and welcod enough to rember him by whenever he’s in need of warmth.

"Haruki," he called out softly, leaning closer to the man.

Haruki’s eyelashes flickered when he brushed his finger lightly against his ear. Haruki turned and looked at the doctor with a trace of displeasure for being woken up. He adjusted himself well on the sofa until he was lying sideways, and his fra fit well into the sofa.

"You need to wash up and sleep on the bed, it’s more comfortable," Hiroshi advised Haruki warmly with a trace of maturity in his voice as though he was coaxing a child into being obedient.

"Do you have noodles?" Haruki closed his eyes and asked, showing no intention to stand up.

"Yes, I do," Hiroshi replied, although taken aback by the question.

"Have you eaten dinner?"

The doctor felt the urge to give him a positive answer, knowing he had bought for Haruki, and it was only expected that he had also eaten, but he gave Kiyoshi what he would have eaten, and he had even thought of eating.

"Prepare noodles for us," Haruki told the man.

Hearing Haruki speak to him so casually as though they had been living together for so long, he felt a strong urge to cross the line a bit and deciding not to hesitate, he gave in. He leaned closer to Haruki and pressed his lips against Haruki’s.

His heart pounded heavily as he moved away and stood up. Warmth crept up his neck to his face, and he was certain more than ever that he was blushing really hard. He looked down at the man’s face, and the man had not opened his eyes or even acted as though a kiss had been stolen from him.

But even though Haruki remained indifferent about the kiss, it was not as though he was not aware of it. He turned and went to the kitchen to get the noodles ready for Haruki.

He ensured to garnish the noodles well with enough at and vegetables to ensure they both ate healthy, although the choice of food wasn’t particularly healthy for him to eat as dinner, at least compared to what Haruki had earlier.

The aroma might have gotten to Haruki, getting him to stand up from the sofa. He finally chose to remove his suit jacket, remove his cufflinks and unbutton the first four buttons of his shirt.

Hiroshi glanced at him, holding back the urge to shake his head at the scene or ask him why he had not taken them off when they ca in. He confird that the man must simply have been too tired.

"Are you done?" Haruki asked when he got to the kitchen and leaned on the island.

"I’m almost done," Hiroshi replied. He pulled out two bowls and placed one in front of Haruki and the other on the other side of the table.

Haruki watched him do everything neatly in a practised ease. In less than a minute, the pot of hot noodles was placed on the table before Haruki, along with chopsticks and two glasses of water.

"Do you have wine?" Haruki asked.

"I do but... Let’s use beer instead," Hiroshi said before heading to the fridge.

It was only after he placed two cans of beer on the table that he realised he had not asked Haruki for his opinion. Since Haruki did not refute, he sat down and opened his can of beer.

Haruki picked up the can and took a sip before digging into the pot of noodles to fetch his potion.

Haruki ate the noodles to his satisfaction, and when he was done, he emptied the can of beer and reached for his phone. He scrolled through while Hiroshi finished the remaining noodles and cleaned up.

When Hiroshi was almost done, he leaned against the counter, watching Haruki casually scroll through his phone in his ho. This was beyond his imagination; there was no way he wouldn’t feel joy over it.

Haruki placed his phone on the desk and raised his head to watch the man who was equally watching him. "How is Aki doing?"

Hiroshi felt his heart skip a bit hearing that na from Haruki’s lips.

It shouldn’t be so, considering that the owner of that voice was his younger brother, but that strong sense of discomfort was not one he could casually overlook, but he certainly could pretend it didn’t affect him when facing Haruki.

"He is doing good, I think," he replied sincerely. He did not expect anything bad to happen to Aki.

Aki had accomplished a lot on his own without much support from his family in a foreign land, and with that, he was certain that he had no cause to worry about his younger brother, even though they hadn’t spoken for a while.

Haruki must have noticed that addition to the response. "You think?" He asked, eting the doctor’s gaze firmly as though he wanted to read his thoughts.

"Yes. I haven’t spoken to him recently," he replied sincerely.

"Why?" Haruki asked.

"Nothing." This ti, Hiroshi wasn’t completely sincere.

He didn’t call his brother too frequently in the past, and he saw no reason to call him much now, but the fact that Haruki ca between them must have decreased the frequency of their calls.

"Is there a reason why you asked?" Hiroshi folded his hands over his chest and asked with the right amount of curiosity in his tone to make it sound like pure curiosity and not worry or jealousy.

Haruki hesitated for a few seconds before he sighed and shook his head. "I just wanted to know. I should have called him myself rather than asking."

"I could call him now, if you want to," Hiroshi said, trying to sound as casual as he could.

"No need. I just hope he is fine after all, he has no one familiar around him," Haruki said.

"He is fine," Hiroshi said firmly.

Haruki shook his head and added with a hint of sarcasm, "You think?"

Hiroshi smiled, trying to ignore the sarcasm in Haruki’s tone. Haruki was in his ho, but asking about soone else.

He dropped his hand and took quick strides to where Haruki sat. He gripped the back of his neck, pulling him until his lips smashed against Haruki’s. Haruki moaned into the kiss when Hiroshi gave access to his mouth.

When Hiroshi’s tongue slid into his mouth, he bit on it.
