Haruki signaled to Kiyoshi who placed a paper on the table before the man along with a pen before stepping aside.

"I will pretend I heard nothing of what you said considering that you might have lost your mind due to the loss you suffered. Sign the contract, I will let you get your vengeance. That’s the maximum I can do," Haruki spoke calmly as he gestured to the paper on the table.

The man looked at the paper with a hint of boredom as he reached to pick it up. He scanned through it for a minute before returning it to the table and leaned back.

"I acknowledge you’re a good businessman but I want none of what you’re offering, well aside from the heads of the n who killed my son."

Haruki felt his patience running thin as he clenched his fist.

"I lost a son, don’t you think I deserve so compensation? That man I saw you with, I heard he is your doctor. I don’t think he looks bad you can bring him over instead if—," the man began but the words he intended to say was choked up and with Haruki’s hand gripping his throat.

Haruki looked down at his tightening fists around the man’s neck. The warmth of the skin was too warm he wanted so badly to reduce the temperature.

The man struggled to get Haruki’s hand off his neck very skillfully but Haruki just just too strong. The surprise in the man’s eyes was not hard to identify even as they reddened due to the lack of oxygen.

Haruki had flashed forward so fast not giving anyone chance to notice it. It was faster than Ren or Kiyoshi had ever seen him move. He was swift and they only saw blur before Haruki pinned the man squeezing the oxygen out of him.

The man’s grip on Haruki to release himself began to loosen as Haruki’s gripped tightened. The man’s hand finally fell to his side but he did not release his grip until he was tapped firmly by Ren and Kiyoshi also reached to grab his wrist.

"You need to stop," Ren warned Haruki his voice losing most of the respect he had for Haruki as he sounded more like Haruki’s ntor than his subordinate.

Haruki looked down and considered his position as his eyes widened then narrowed before he released his hands looking down at the lifeless man. Haruki took a step back and Kiyoshi imdiately moved the man to the floor and began CPR when the man remained still.

"He mustn’t die," Ren warned Kiyoshi before pulling Haruki to his seat. When Haruki sat down, Ren finally sighed tiredly before saying, "You’ve been calm for a while now, what was that? Do you really want to kill him?"

Haruki looked at the man who Kiyoshi was trying to resuscitation and he wanted the man dead but, . . . "No," Haruki responded firmly.

Ren was ready to let Kiyoshi stop of Haruki wanted the man dead. They were more than able to cover it up that they governnt would have nothing to use against them publicly. It might be a bit of a hassle, but that will be it.

However, there was sothing that made him furrow his brow thoughtfully. This was the first ti he had seen such explosive reaction from Haruki. Haruki had ways he unleashed his demons and this was not one Haruki has chosen or used in the past. All because they spoke about the doctor?

Kiyoshi continued trying to revive the man until they heard a cough. The man struggled and sat up after a few minutes before turning to look at Haruki.

The man was recovering from two things, the surprise left by what Haruki had done to him and the pain from getting choked so close to the gates of hell.

The calmness Haruki had shown along with more strength than he had imagined Haruki to have, he was left baffled by so many things he could not comprehend.

It took him a while to fully recover under Kiyoshi’s attention. When Haruki finally t his gaze that had remained fixed on Haruki through out, he felt a shiver rum through his spine. It was a mixture of both fear and excitent. Why would the young man who had been calm all along turn significantly aggressive when soone was ntioned. There has to be sothing going on between him and that person that made that person of great importance to him.

Haruki ordered Kiyoshi to take the contract from the man. He stood looking bored as despite the multiple thoughts going on his mind weighing heavily.

He had acted out of character and he could not understand the root cause so he concluded that it was the anger he had bottled up over what the man had said about his appearance although he knew deep down that it was a lie.

He walked close to the man who visibly flinched and tried to bury himself into the chair the closer Haruki got to him.

"I don’t care anymore. I thought of appeasing you since I know from experience that it hurts to lose a loved one but since you have no feeling of loss, I see no need to console you anymore. If you get close to over this issue, I promise to find you and kill you in your sleep," Haruki warned the man seriously.

"I’ll still get their heads, right?" The man shot up from the sofa and asked when Haruki had walked to the door.

"Yeah, I have no intention of keeping them alive anyway," Haruki responded without turning back to the man. He could not understand how a man who lost his son would have the ntal capacity to think of sothing sensual.

He also felt a bit hesitant considering that the man had accepted his offer faster than he had imagined the man would. He wondered if the man had sothing else in plan but he trusted that with his level of alertness, it would be hard for him to be caught unaware.

Kiyoshi turned to Haruki wearing a familiar worried expression. Haruki frowned when he t his gaze. "Are you sure it is okay?" Kiyoshi finally voiced his worries.

"We discussed this yesterday, stop asking questions," Haruki finally shut him up. "Get rid of that look," Haruki was forced to snap when Kiyoshi’s worried gaze only intensified with his words.

He felt that Kiyoshi had gotten a bit too concerned and worried.

"If you do your work well, you won’t have to worry," Haruki was forced to add although he was already feeling as though he had spoken too much.

Kiyoshi nodded as he stole as glance through the rear mirror when the car began moving, "Yes, sir."

Hiroshi was busy at work with more to that day. When he got back from work, he went ho directly. It was only after taking his bath he rembered to call Haruki. The call was picked almost imdiately. Haruki’s voice sounded tired.

"Hello," Haruki’s tired hoarse voice ca from the other end.

"I should have called earlier, I’m sorry I’m late," Hiroshi apologized imdiately.

"It’s okay," Haruki’s responded after clearing his throat.

"Hope all is well, you don’t sound too well," he asked worriedly.

Haruki on the end could not understand why everyone was suddenly so worried about him lately so he shook his head before answering Hiroshi, "It’s nothing, I’m fine."

"How’s your body?" Hiroshi was forced to ask directly considering how busy the both of them were last night and Haruki had being on the receiving end of it.

"I’m fine you don’t have to worry," Haruku sighed tired of the fact that those around him were trying to force to say more words than he wanted to say. "Why did you call?"

"I just wanted to know your condition," Hiroshi responded after pausing for a few seconds to select the right words. He would have said ’I simply wanted to hear your voice and I want to see you so much right now’ if he had the right to.

He was still the person who had hurt his brother and Haruki over his opinions and selfishness. He bit his lower lips when the other end remained silent for a few seconds that felt like eternity for Hiroshi who wanted so badly to hear Haruki’s voice.

"My condition is good," Haruki finally responded. His response only made Hiroshi more worried considering that Haruki’s voice sounded far from being well and alright.

"Have you eaten?" Haruki asked seriously.

He heard Haruki sigh heavily before humming a positive response.

"What did you eat?"

"I will hang up if you have nothing to say," Haruki’s voice ca cold on the other end as though he was tired of hearing Hiroshi speak.

It was hurtful to get such response but Hiroshi having chosen the part of selfishness and unconditional love smiled rembering the beautiful face of the man he was talking to.

As soon as he was done talking to Haruki, he called Kiyoshi to confirm Haruki’s well-being.
