~Zayn’s POV~
The knock at the door ca right in the middle of conversation with my friends. I didn’t need to check, I already knew it was Evric. Sothing about him was always easy to sense, like a pull I couldn’t ignore.
I stood and opened the door, but he pulled into his arms before I could even greet him. His mouth crashed against mine, hungry and demanding, his hands clutching as if he had been starving for days.
He didn’t even notice my friends in the background. He must have thought I was alone
I could sll the alcohol on him, faint but undeniable. He must have been drinking, and it made his need for stronger, more overbold.
I understood. Since his return, Evric and I hadn’t shared much ti together, not in the way he craved. For soone like him, who loved touch and closeness, he had tried to restrain himself. But tonight, his control was gone. Tonight, he needed .
I didn’t want to deny his need, but I had to remind him softly, "Evric... my friends are still here."
He froze at my words, pausing for only a mont, but I could feel the storm in him. His voice ca rough, "I need you."
He took my hand and pulled further inside, his eyes burning with impatience. Once we reached the room, I cupped his face and tried to reason with him.
"Listen... let excuse my friends first. Then I’ll co back to you, and you’ll have all of ."
I begged him gently, hoping he would understand.
But he shook his head stubbornly. "Don’t go. I need you now."
I pressed my forehead against his, speaking quietly, "I know, baby. I know you need . But just give a few minutes. Let talk to them real quick, and once they leave, I’m yours. Completely."
He stared at for a long, heavy mont, his silence making the air between us thick. Finally, with a reluctant breath, he whispered, "Okay."
When I went back to the living room, my friends were already on their feet, ready to leave.
Nantam glanced at and said, "Go attend to Evric first. We’ll talk on the phone later."
Dean, of course, couldn’t leave quietly. He leaned in, close enough for only to hear. "I should’ve stayed back just to hear your moans," he teased. "But I’m too single... no one to hold afterward. I’m afraid to fill myself with your sound, with no one to hold after."
I shot him a sharp look that clearly said keep your mouth shut. But instead of backing off, he pushed further, laughing as he added, "I really need a partner to run to." Then, bold as ever, he kissed on the cheek by the door and laughed. "Tell Evric he’s my ntor. I’m learning from him every ti."
I shook my head, exhaling in disbelief. "Dean, it’s not funny."
Dean smirked, leaning back with exaggerated drama. "It’s so funny," he teased, puckering his lips and mimicking Evric’s earlier kisses. "Muah, muah, just the way he started kissing you the mont he walked in."
He laughed, shaking his head before adding, "You guys are way too cute." With a flourish, he hopped into his car, tossing his words over his shoulder. "I’m going to the club tonight, ti to find my own Evric."
I shook my head, speechless...
The only one who hadn’t said a word since they arrived was Nicki. He was unusually quiet, his silence heavy in the room. It wasn’t like him at all. Concern tugged at until I finally leaned toward Nantam and asked softly, "Is Nicki okay?"
Nantam looked at , calm as always, and nodded. "He’s fine. Why do you ask?"
"Because Nicki’s never this quiet. Anyone who knows him knows that’s not the real him," I said, still unsettled.
Nantam smiled faintly. "It’s nothing, Zayn. You can go back inside. We’ll take our leave from here."
I nodded reluctantly. Nantam guided Nicki into his car, while Dean was inside his own, still grinning like an idiot. I stood at the doorway, watching them drive off into the night before finally heading back inside.
I hurried straight to the bedroom, eager to get back to Evric. But when I stepped in, my heart sank. He had already showered, changed into fresh clothes, and fallen asleep. The way he lay flat on the bed, his face turned deliberately away, told everything, he’d gone to sleep angry.
I climbed on the bed and leaned closer, tapping him gently. "Baby... baby..."
Evric stirred, his lashes fluttering before he turned his head to look at .
"You’re already sleeping?" I whispered.
"Yes," he murmured flatly, rolling onto his back.
I inched closer, trying to kiss him, but he stopped with a firm hand on my chest. Instead, he pressed a soft kiss to my forehead. "We should sleep," he said quietly.
"I..." I started to explain, but he cut off again, his voice still calm but distant. "Sleep, babe."
"Are you hungry?" I asked, trying to find a crack in his wall.
"I’m fine," he replied without looking at , turning his face to the other side.
But I knew him. I knew he hadn’t eaten. He’d co back drunk, needing , and I’d left him in that heat. Guilt sat heavy on my chest.
So I stood, walked to the kitchen, and prepared sothing light. When it was ready, I went back and crouched beside him. "Baby, I cooked for you," I said softly. "Stand up. Co and eat."
I knew he wouldn’t ignore completely. He got up, wordless, and followed to the dining table. He sat and ate, but never once t my eyes.
When he finished, he muttered a quiet "Thank you... baby" and started to rise, but I caught his hand.
"Evric..." I said, my voice breaking a little. "Listen, babe...You are the most important person in my life. I know you well, I know what you’re thinking. When you ca back, I wasn’t trying to deny you, I was just finishing up with my friends. I didn’t want them to feel pushed aside. I know I should have attended to you first but..." My voice trembled as I paused. "Please forgive . Don’t be angry. There’s nothing more important to than you. I an it."
He looked at in silence for a long mont before he spoke. "I was damn horny when I ca back," he admitted, voice low. "I know I was wrong too, for taking you inside the room while your friends were still here. But I need you, I could not help it."
I reached for his hand. "Can we... make love now?" I asked.
"No," he said quietly. "I’m not in the mood anymore."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes." He sighed, rubbing his face. "It’s okay, baby. Let’s just go to sleep now."
He stood up reached out his hand for , but instead of taking it, I guided him to the couch and gently pushed him down onto it. My heart thudded as I stripped myself bare, every movent deliberate.
"Zayn, you don’t have to..." he started.
I straddled his lap, pressing my palms to his chest, leaning in until my lips brushed his ear. "Serve my punishnt, Daddy," I whispered, my breath warm against his skin. "Make scream for forgiveness."
