"I can’t wait for this match, and I’m getting chills about it; it can be the biggest one ever." Princess Fiana muttered, her eyes darting, searching for Akirion, who was getting ready for the next event.

"Yeah sure, it can be, and we know Lucas is taking the prize!" the prince debated as he put Lucas first.

"Really? I wouldn’t say that if I were you.

"Why, do you think I’m bluffing?"

"No, it’s not like that, but there’s soone who can challenge Lucas!" said the princess as she glared at her brother, her hands balanced over the arm of a chair, holding her stretching cheeks as she smiled.

"Who can that be?"

"Akirion."

"Him, really? You an that black-haired brat from class A, right?"

"Yes, him!"

"Sothing like that will never happen; Lucas has proved to be the school’s strongest, and again, the school’s hero if anything may occur," the Prince said with his hands helping him to talk.

"Okay, whateveryou say, I’m sure Akirion is going to win, I bet!"

The debate ended between the royal family, but everyone’s minds were running, trying to predict the future. Their minds played debates on their own, troubling the owners.

The next two fighters reached the stage: Akirion vs. Olivia.

The two stood at their rightful places and started chatting before the bell.

"Akirion, Akirion, Akirion. Many thought that you were mistakenly put in class A; your rightful class was F, which is not even available, and that surely ant that you were supposed to be at ho. And I don’t bla them....." Olivia said, her eyes slowly narrowing.

"Why is that? Akirion asked, with a sneer on his face.

"Because you showed no magical power, so your powers didn’t need to be controlled."

"You bet!" He proved to be calm even though he was verbally attacked.

"Yes, your powers couldn’t kill a cockroach by then!"

"Mhh, clear enough!" Akirion had his left hand folded while the right one was holding his chin.

"What!" Olivia asked, being surprised by how Akirion was agreeing to be dissed.

"The word, by then, tells that I can kill it now!"

"Yes, sure, why not? So I’m still wondering how you managed to reach the semifinals round."

"Ohh, this one? It’s my luck, I guess."

"How about that aura I saw? Whose aura was that during the first round?"

"What, aura, really? I know nothing about that!"

"Really?" Olivia’s eyebrows furrowed in astonishnt.

"Yes!"

"But it was looming over you!"

"Surprising!" said Akirion with his eyes narrowing, acting as if he was thinking.

"You said it was your luck to defeat the last two participants, right?" she sneered.

"Yes!"

"Let warn you then. Your luck won’t work this ti!"

The bell rang, lowering the crowd’s noise as they sent their eyes to the stage.

"Ohh, let’s find out; the bell just rang." Akirion sneered as he opened his narrowed eyes.

Akirion’s eyes glared scarily at Olivia, making her body tremble like a leaf in a tree.

’The what? Why is my body trembling like this? I can’t feel my bones. I’m vibrating like the wings of a locust. What is it? And his eyes... they are scarily glaring at !’

Olivia’s body vibrated until she dropped on her knees, and the tension beca better.

But the gasps filled the arena as they saw Olivia collapsing without a fight.

Astonishnt lurked over the stage, creating waves of fear, sending chills through everyone’s body.

Olivia stood up and faced Akirion, with a bit of fear but yet strong.

The war raged between the two, Akirion calm, while Olivia’s eyes showed rage.

Olivia had her gaze pointed at Akirion, with her teeth gritted and eyes narrowed.

She made the earth quake under Akirion, making him off balance, but she couldn’t succeed. Akirion kept shooting the fireballs straight at Olivia, but she had her rock shield.

Akirion didn’t want to waste ti anymore; that’s when he started to move faster, getting Olivia flabbergasted since she couldn’t manage to keep up with him with her eyes.

Fireballs never ended, while spikes and spears kept appearing in the ground, following Akirion’s moves as he kept running.

Olivia’s eyes blazed with rage as she couldn’t hit Akirion while he was sending fireballs at her non-stop.

"Hey class A, stop playing like a rabbit and face already!" Olivia growled as her anger pierced the voice box, making her sweet voice growl like an empty stomach.

Akirion stopped, his eyes glued to Olivia, who sounded provocative, her words bursting the air like an old man’s.

"What’s your plan? If you want to stop , then use everything you’ve got to do that. Not just growling like a bee in a tin."

"Grrrr, what did you just say? I’ll kill you today!"

"Let’s see you try." Akirion sneered, his eyes narrowing, sending shivers down Olivia’s spine since she had her gaze locked with Akirion’s.

She then overpowered her fear and scread as she made sharp pikes appear all over the stage to cut Akirion’s speed, and again, her idea was to catch him hooked in one of the pikes, either stabbing him or catching him by his clothes.

Olivia’s eyes widened; while anger prevailed, her lips stretched as she gritted her teeth and clenched her fist, as she got purely annoyed by Akirion, who landed next to one of the pikes unhard since they left a lot of space for a human to walk around in.

"Wow, what a field. When are you going to harvest these? I’m curious. I bet they are nice." Akirion provoked Olivia, increasing her rage second by second as he kept on dodging her valuable attacks.

"I don’t think you will be alive to see harvesting my crops." Olivia said, with a fake smile curling her lips. Suddenly, her smile reversed into anger, with her voice changing into a growl as she said, "Because you are nothing but a stain of blood now!!" Many pikes pierced the land, multiplying the ones that were already there.

Akirion was nowhere to be found in the middle of Olivia’s field. Suddenly, Olivia heard a ’shhhh’ sound in her ears. Her eyes widened; her rage disappeared, leaving her widened orbs looking innocent, like a kid’s when he or she is begging for sothing.

Her heart raced during that second, making her body tremble. Suddenly, she found herself crashing into her grown pikes as she got hit from the back by Akirion.

Cough, cough. Olivia suddenly coughs, her mouth leaking blood on the left. She pretended to be strong and stared at Akirion with her eyes filled with rage.

"You are still alive?" Akirion asked, his eyes scarily narrowed while he grinned like a Cheshire cat, his lips stretched, his teeth exposed, causing Olivia’s body to tremble more.

"Any last words before I knock you or...." Akirion asked, and before he finished, he fell off balance as Olivia made the earth shake. She also sent a boulder that was aiming straight at Akirion’s chest; suddenly, he rolled over and avoided the hit.

Without even a next breath, his thigh was pierced through by a sharp arrow from the ground. Akirion scread in agony as his thigh got hotter than a heater. His blood was flowing down, making a lake of blood.

Olivia saved her rcy for another day as she shot another arrow that stabbed his other thigh. His eyes drooled with tears as he tried to endure the pain.

On the royal side, the princess closed her eyes as she saw Akirion’s leg spraying blood.

"Your Akirion guy is in deep trouble, in a hot soup." Prince Kaid said with his eyes narrowed, a grin piercing through his emotionless face.

"Yeah, absolutely, but that doesn’t an he will lose to that girl, Olivia!" The princess said, her eyes tearing up and her lips trembling in fear.

BACK AT THE STAGE

"What happened, Class A? Got any last words?" Olivia asked with a fierce smile stretching her lips.

Akirion’s face that was screaming for help instantly moulded up, and he started laughing. The gasps whirled around the arena since astonishnt took over as they saw Akirion laughing instead of crying. His tearing eyes got dry; suddenly, he stood up, freeing himself from the arrows, letting the blood flow down as he continued laughing.

"Did you just say last words?" His laugh paused as his voice growled angrily, sending chills down Olivia’s spine. Olivia was totally thunderstruck as she saw Akirion standing with his stabbed legs.

Not only Olivia but also a lot of people were dumbfounded, as their eyes got wider and their mouths made a round shape of surprise with their eyebrows quirked.

Olivia started trembling, her heart pounded as if Akirion was going to hear it, and her lips shook as if she had been attacked by a winter without a coat.

"That line was mine, not ours, so I’ll use it. Any last words?" Akirion said with an angry voice and face, scaring Olivia almost to death.

She trembled but tried to control herself. She created arrows behind Akirion, who was staring at Olivia. And his drooling thighs dried up.

Olivia thought of shooting Akirion from behind, but surprisingly, Akirion dodged the two arrows that were aiming at his back and went down. The two arrows stabbed the owner’s right shoulder, and the other one missed. In that ti, Akirion shot three fireballs that sent her out of the stage.

The fire explosion made him roll to the edge of the stage, surprising the audience.

The princess was taken aback yet happy for the sudden change of tables. Her eyes widened in happiness as a sudden grin curled her lips, building back her beautiful smile.

Akirion was announced a winner as he sat down and looked at the cheering crowd. His eyes were glued to his master, who was clapping his hands, sitting in one of the seats that were at the top. Mischief filled his heart, and he was happy for the final qualification against Lucas.
