[🥳And new novel is out guys— "Konoha Life: The System Forced , an Innocent Soul, onto a Dark Path"]

"Clear the area! All irrelevant personnel must retreat imdiately!"

A loud shout echoed across the battlefield.

A swarm of players, all bearing the "Supre" tag in their ID, flooded into the corpse city, weapons raised high as they made a beeline for the Corpse King boss.

"Supre Guild?!" Chen Jun, who was leading the team in battling the boss, glanced back and grit his teeth. "Damn it, they're here to steal the boss!"

Chen Jun stepped back from the front lines, trying to reason with the oncoming Supre Guild mbers. He directed his plea to the leader, a Level 12 Elite Sword and Shield Warrior known as Supre Xingyao.

"Gentlen, this boss was discovered by our Yanyu Pavilion. Surely, we can follow the principle of 'first co, first served,' can't we?"

Knowing the Supre Guild's strong background, with their backing from the wealthiest family in Linhai City—the Liu family—Chen Jun tried to keep his tone polite and respectful.

However, Supre Xingyao rely chuckled, a trace of arrogance in his voice. "First co, first served?"

"Rules? My rule is the only rule that matters! You've got five seconds to back away from the boss, or I'll cut you all down myself!"

As Xingyao began counting down, Chen Jun glanced over his shoulder at the Corpse King's remaining health—it was down to just 9%. His teeth clenched in frustration.

"This is the boss we've fought tooth and nail to weaken! No way we're handing it over!"

Supre Xingyao slamd his heavy tal shield into the ground with a loud clang and pointed his gleaming silver sword towards the boss, his gaze icy. "Oh? You've got guts."

He waved his sword forward, issuing a command. "Brothers, go grab that boss. Kill anyone who gets in your way!"

At his command, a wave of hundreds of Supre Guild mbers charged forward like a flood, racing towards the Corpse King. Xingyao himself stayed behind, knowing full well that both his revival scrolls had already been used—one in a secret realm and another during his encounter with Zhang Yue. For the next five days, he couldn't afford to die again.

Chen Jun, not to be outdone, roared back to his own guild mbers, "Those who can't hurt the boss, stop Supre! Everyone else, go all out and finish the boss!"

The Yanyu Pavilion mbers quickly split into two groups—one continuing to attack the boss, while the others pulled back to intercept Supre Guild's assault.

But with only seventy mbers left, splitting up left just forty players focusing on the boss, and a re thirty trying to hold off over two hundred of Supre's well-geared fighters.

As the third-ranked guild in Zhening Province, the Supre Guild was a far stronger force than Yanyu Pavilion. On top of that, Liu Yao, being the son of the richest man in Linhai, was willing to invest heavily in his guild, equipping his mbers with top-tier gear and rare skill books.

It didn't take long. In an instant, Supre's two hundred players completely overran the thirty or so Yanyu Pavilion defenders, cutting them down like grass. Their montum carried them straight towards the Corpse King.

"You bastards!"

Seeing his mbers slaughtered, Chen Jun's face twisted in fury. "Fine! If I'm going down, I'm taking so of you with !"

He nocked an arrow to his bow and began firing.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Thanks to his elite class as a Royal Archer, Chen Jun managed to snipe three low-health Supre mbers before a barrage of fireballs from their mages rained down upon him.

Whoosh!

A flash of white light marked Chen Jun's death. He didn't just lose his life—his prized golden bow dropped as well.

anwhile, the Corpse King's health had dwindled to just 5%.

But Yanyu Pavilion couldn't hold out any longer.

At the front, Su Jinyan gripped her staff tightly, leading the remaining mbers in a desperate last stand around the boss.

Just as the overwhelming numbers of the Supre Guild were about to crush them, a figure suddenly stepped in front of Su Jinyan.

"Zhang Yue!" Su Jinyan's eyes widened, as though seeing a ray of hope in the dark.

The other Yanyu mbers, however, were less impressed. They thought to themselves, Where was this guy when we were fighting the boss? And now, a frail Beast Tar thinks he can stand against Supre's army?

Facing the wave of Supre Guild mbers surging towards him, Zhang Yue calmly raised his Ice Frost Staff and locked onto the first players who entered his range.

Fireball!

Ice Shard!

Fla Missile!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

—786!

—738!

—308!—462 critical!—462 critical!

Three Level 11 knights who had been charging at the front were instantly wiped out!

Zhang Yue followed up by targeting others with basic attacks. Thanks to his 310 attack power and the additional 20 points of armor penetration from his ring, his regular attacks hit for between 250 and 300 damage. Combined with the Ice Frost Staff's 50 bonus ice damage, every hit dealt over 300 points. Whoever he touched, died.

At this stage, players around Level 11—whether mages, archers, or assassins—barely had 300 HP after adding their gear and level bonuses. Even warriors and knights only had about 400 or 500 HP.

How could they possibly survive against Zhang Yue's damage?

Moreover, since most of the Supre mbers had gray or red nas from their previous battle with Yanyu Pavilion, Zhang Yue specifically targeted those players, avoiding any increase to his own cri points.

Flash! Flash! Flash!

A series of white lights lit up the battlefield as Zhang Yue tore through Supre's ranks. In the blink of an eye, their casualties hit double digits.

His overwhelming killing power shocked the remaining Supre mbers. Watching their frontlines get obliterated, they hesitated and began slowing down, unsure of what was happening.

"Is the boss going berserk?!"

"No, it's not the boss—it's him!"

Following a pointed finger, every Supre player turned their terrified gazes towards Zhang Yue.

At the sa ti, Yanyu Pavilion mbers were equally stunned.

Yanyu Pavilion's Zui stared in disbelief at Zhang Yue, his voice trembling. "This... How is this possible?!"

"Isn't he a Beast Tar? How is his damage so high?"

Liu Yao, who had been waiting at the back, grew frustrated when the advance suddenly halted. "What the hell are you doing? Keep charging!"

One of his subordinates shouted back, "Boss, there's a guy up front with crazy damage! We can't get through!"

"What? One guy is stopping all of you? Where's your backbone?!" Furious, Liu Yao kicked aside one of his underlings and marched to the front.

Just as he was about to yell at his n again, he caught sight of Zhang Yue.

Suddenly, Liu Yao froze.

"Oh crap... it's you?!"

For a mont, Liu Yao wasn't sure whether to feel angry or scared. Realizing who he was facing, he quickly took several steps back, putting as much distance between himself and Zhang Yue as possible.

Pointing shakily, Liu Yao asked, "Did you join Yanyu Pavilion?"

Zhang Yue, with the staff casually resting on his shoulder like a greatsword, responded in his usual tone, "Are you here to steal the boss?"
