Mike didn’t answer imdiately. He looked over the Death Lords—rows upon rows of towering, pure-physical Mythical undead, silent and unmoving, like statues carved from death itself.
Then he spoke calmly.
"You can have all of them if you want."
The words hung in the frozen air.
The Lich froze mid-motion.
The flickering soul-flas in its eyes flared violently as it snapped its skull back toward Mike.
"...Kek?" it uttered, disbelief slipping through its manic tone. "All of them?"
Mike nodded once, shrugging as if its no big deal. "If you need more, I can give you more."
For a mont, the Lich simply stared at him.
Then it burst into laughter.
"Kekekekekeke—! Is it true?" it demanded, voice sharp with excitent. "You’re not jesting, are you, my lord?"
Mike shook his head "No, I am not but It will take so ti"
That was all the confirmation it needed.
The Lich slamd its staff into the ice, dark runes exploding outward as a massive Nether sigil briefly ford beneath its feet.
"Hah! If that’s the case—" it said, voice rising with madness and ambition, "—then give one thousand of them!"
Its hollow gaze burned with greed and vision.
"With a thousand Mythical Death Lords, I will seize an entire region of the Nether," the Lich declared. "I’ll crush its rulers, enslave its denizens, and carve it into a domain worthy of you."
"Kekekeke... a Nether Domain bearing your authority."
Mike watched it silently.
’Hmm thats an good idea most Necromancer and such related classes awakener do go to the Netherworld’ Mike thought as Netherworld is just like any other continenet making up the infinite Origin World.
That place is full of treasures for Death, Soul, Darkness, Undeads and such related classes, ’ Having a domain their is like steady source of inco’
Then he nodded.
"Do it."
The Lich trembled, as if overwheld.
"To think..." it whispered reverently. "A mortal who treats Mythical undead like numbers."
Mike wasn’t worried in the slightest.
After all—
Lily can easily manage hundreds of thousands of Death Lords, and he can upgrade them easily too.
"A thousand is nothing."
"Kekeke... then after we’re done here, we can go acquire even more Death Lords," the Lich said, clearly pleased.
Mike nodded, then paused.
"Speaking of that... I never learned your na."
The Lich turned its skull toward him, the soul-flas in its eyes flickering.
"My na is Jace," it said slowly.
"I was once a commoner—gifted with imnse talent for magic. But the nobles of my region enslaved and turned into their pawn. They forced to commit all kinds of atrocities in their na."
A low, distorted laugh escaped it.
"Kekeke... to free myself, I delved into forbidden magic. I shed my flesh entirely—along with the slave mark carved into it. And then..."
Its grin widened, madness and satisfaction twisting together.
"...I tortured that noble and his entire family right in front of his eyes. For seventy-eight years, eighty-nine days, and twenty-six hours."
The Lich tilted its head, smiling.
"Kekeke... that was the sa amount of ti I had been enslaved under him."
No wonder this guy has a few loose screws, Mike thought, but he still nodded."That noble deserved it," he said calmly.
"Kekeke... no, his punishnt isn’t over," the Lich replied.
It snapped its fingers.
With a wet, nauseating sound, a fat, grotesque zombie appeared. Its bloated body sagged unnaturally, rotten flesh barely clinging together, its eyes dull and empty.
"et the fat noble who enslaved ." the Lich said, grinning. "Now he is a mindless zombie, feeding on his own filth."
"That’s enough," Mike said imdiately, turning his head away. "Just looking at his face makes feel like puking."
He could say it with certainty—this was the most horrendous thing he had ever seen. Even the worst scenes from the most depraved evil gas didn’t co close to this level of disgust.
"Kekeke... that is his punishnt," the Lich said, looking rather pleased as it watched Mike’s disgusted expression.
"Now that I’ve seen that thing," Mike said, suppressing a shudder, "do you have other undead? Ones that can stay with at all tis—or ones that can remain with my family and protect them? I an... human-looking ones, like vampires and such."
"Kekeke, you need protection for your family," the Lich nodded. "Then take her. She was a fellow slave under that fat noble. I also granted her power. She was the one who ca up with the idea of feeding the noble his own filth and making him eat it."
As the Lich snapped its fingers, a blood-red magic circle ford on the abyssal ice. From within it stepped out a woman of breathtaking beauty.
She looked like a noble lady—elegant and commanding. Long silver hair cascaded down her back, and her crimson eyes seed to bring color and life to the dark, frozen abyss, even though she herself was undead.
"et the Vampire Queen," the Lich said proudly. "A Legendary-class undead."
The woman glanced at Mike, then turned to the Lich.
"Jace, why did you call ?" she asked calmly. "And is this the one you always talk about—the human with no sense of danger?"
Human with no sense of danger... hah, Mike thought dryly. I’m probably the most cautious guy in the whole multi-universe of all Reincarnator MCs.
He kept that thought to himself. After all, saying the wrong thing now might make this lady refuse to guard his family—and that was not a risk he was willing to take.
"Kekeke, yes—the one and only," the Lich said, laughing. "And I recently learned that this guy also possesses the power of Authority."
"Hoh?" The Vampire Queen’s crimson eyes widened slightly as she looked Mike up and down. "You’re telling this... weak-looking human has Authority? That ans an SSS-rank talent."
"kekeke, the one and only" Lich nodded looking at her.
Her gaze sharpened, assessing him more carefully now.
"...How curious," she murmured, clearly surprised that soone who appeared so ordinary—almost fragile—could possess such overwhelming power.
