After speaking, Serafina stuffed the money into Lin Mo's shirt pocket.
"Hey..."
Lin Mo sighed helplessly and made a silent vow to never casually talk to little girls again. They were just too troubleso.
Thinking of this, he turned around once more and asked, looking resigned, "So what exactly do you want?"
Serafina's big black eyes darted around, then she squinted, showing a sly smile, and said, "Take to the amusent park. I've never been to one before."
"Amusent park?"
Lin Mo slightly furrowed his brows, pondering for a mont. Anyway, there was nothing else to do today, and he had a good impression of this quirky Serafina, so he nodded lightly and agreed:
"Alright, but we can't play too late, or it will be really inconvenient."
Seeing Lin Mo agree, Serafina instantly jumped up in joy, her face brimming with a bright smile. She grabbed Lin Mo's hand and ran excitedly towards the bus stop, chanting, "Great, finally going to the amusent park!"
It was lunchti peak hour, and the entrance of the Los Angeles Police Academy was bustling with pedestrians and students. Lin Mo and Serafina, a handso young man and a beautiful young girl, were chatting and joking at the gate, looking intimate as if they were flirting. This scene naturally drew quite a bit of attention, and many turned to look at them. Most of them cast jealous and disdainful looks toward Lin Mo, seemingly envious that he had such a cute girl with him.
"Hey, wait a minute, I haven't eaten yet, let's find sowhere to eat first."
Lin Mo stopped, feeling the strange stares around, and said a bit helplessly. He didn't want to go to the amusent park on an empty stomach; that wouldn't be fun at all.
"Hee hee, alright then."
Serafina stuck out her pink little tongue, giving a playful smile, then obediently nodded.
Lin Mo shook his head, a doting smile on his face, and then led Serafina into a roadside restaurant. As he entered, he headed straight to the ordering counter. He had been to this restaurant a few tis before, so he was very familiar with the layout and the various dishes.
He casually ordered a few of the restaurant's specialties, then chose a relatively clean table and sat opposite Serafina. Once seated, Lin Mo casually pulled out his phone, opened the news app, and started browsing the latest news.

Five minutes passed, and Serafina could no longer endure the silent atmosphere. She reached over and snatched Lin Mo's phone, showing off her cute little fangs, pretending to act fierce, and said nacingly, "With such a beauty sitting in front of you, you're just looking down at your phone. "Hey, Miss Beauty, can you please give back my phone? I was reading the news!"

Hearing this, Lin Mo rolled his eyes, speechless. Knowing about the Dark Law Enforcer was nothing surprising; the reports were everywhere recently; it was hard not to know. Besides, Serafina was asking that question right in front of the Dark Law Enforcer himself.
"Of course I know. There are reports about him everywhere lately, how could I not know?" Lin Mo said helplessly.
Finally opening up the topic, after giving the phone back to Lin Mo, Serafina curiously asked, "Then what kind of person do you think the Dark Law Enforcer is? Tell what you think of him."
"What kind of person?"
Lin Mo thought for a while, then said seriously, "I think he's just an ordinary person with ideals and beliefs, trying to create a better world. The internet calls him a god; I think that's an exaggeration. He's just doing what he believes is right."
"Ordinary person?!"
Hearing Lin Mo's answer, Serafina reacted like a cat that had its tail stepped on, instantly ruffling her fur. But when he ca to his senses, a strange feeling surged in his heart. After all, he was the Dark Law Enforcer Serafina was talking about, now being accused by his own "fan" of disparaging himself.
At that mont, the dishes they ordered were brought over by the waiter. Lin Mo quickly said, "Alright, alright, let's eat first. After eating, I'll take you to the amusent park. Let's not argue about this anymore."
"Hmph!"
Serafina humd arrogantly before sitting down and said coquettishly, "This ti, I'll be magnanimous and won't hold it against you. But you can't talk bad about my idol ever again, or I won't let you off!"
Lin Mo quickly nodded and then buried his head to eat, silently deciding to stay away from this little devil in the future. How could the grand Dark Law Enforcer be lectured by a little girl, all because of himself? It made him feel quite frustrated inside.
Seeing Lin Mo's obedient manner, Serafina was satisfied and humd softly a few tis before starting to eat.
In order to get to the amusent park as soon as possible, Serafina ate quickly. And Lin Mo, eager to escape from this little devil, ate even faster than her.
With that, this al took only ten minutes before the two of them hurriedly got up and left the restaurant. After leaving, they headed to the bus stop, hopped on the bus heading to the amusent park, and with excitent, set off toward the amusent park…
The Los Angeles North Suburb Amusent Park is located in the northern suburbs of the city, where the atmosphere is neither bustling nor extrely desolate. Once, this land was all barren fields, overgrown with weeds. However, as Los Angeles city continued to develop and expand, it gradually beca popular and lively. Shacks were built one by one, and this area mostly housed people living at the bottom of society, making it a complex mix of individuals. One truly can't comprehend what the developers were thinking, building an amusent park in such a place.
When Lin Mo and Serafina arrived at the North Suburb Amusent Park, what they saw left them stunned. Many areas at the amusent park entrance were overgrown with lush green grass, and among the grass, two or three stray cats could vaguely be seen playing. As a gentle breeze blew, the place seed particularly desolate and cold, lacking the lively atmosphere an amusent park should have.
Looking at all this, Lin Mo montarily couldn't wrap his head around it. If it weren't for Serafina repeatedly assuring him that this was indeed the amusent park, he would definitely think he'd co to a haunted house.
"Are you sure this is the place? Aren't we going to Disneyland?" Lin Mo asked Serafina again, a hint of doubt in his eyes.
"Yeah." Serafina nodded lightly, her eyes glinting with a light that was hard to decipher.
