Wu Jingguo was advanced in years, and for him, there wasn’t much left that was worth reminiscing or any particular tasks he felt compelled to do, nor were there any obsessions. Now his only concern was the developnt of the Wu family after his passing.

Regrettably,

none of his sons were particularly impressive. Managing to be wealthy was one thing, but to drive the Wu family forward, or even just to maintain the current level, was extrely difficult. The family was only gradually declining.

These were a major source of concern for Wu Jingguo.

Although his heart wasn’t at ease after eting Liu Limin, he was very clear that if he could secure a commitnt from the other party, at least the Wu family would stand a chance until the Liu family’s fall.

Now, hearing Liu Limin agree, Wu Jingguo no longer dwelt on past issues, and as they walked, he said, "Regarding the matter of Lin Mo, if you have any questions, or if there are matters you truly don’t know how to handle, you can ask now."

By this ti, they had reached the lobby on the first floor, and once again all eyes were on them.

Many faces wore expressions of lancholy.

After all, the affairs between these two were no state secrets. Many people were aware of them from the beginning, and many in attendance knew the ins and outs.

Seeing these two people, who once were incompatible as fire and water, now walking together and apparently in a harmonious relationship, ca as a big surprise to them.

Liu Limin paid no attention to these shifting expressions and spoke out, "Arrange a car, we’re going to the rental house where Lin Mo used to live."

"Yes!" A staff mber took the order, running out of the hall.

The leaders’ official cars were on standby 24 hours a day, so it wasn’t long before a brand-new Coaster minibus parked in the courtyard of the police station.

Liu Limin extended his hand politely and said, "Please, Jingguo."

Without any ceremony, Wu Jingguo headed straight outside, and under everyone’s gaze, climbed onto the Coaster minibus.

Only after Liu Limin had boarded as well did the Coaster minibus start up and head directly to Lin Mo’s forr rental house.

Sitting next to the window, Liu Limin mused, "So many years have passed, and it seems like there have been earth-shattering changes here, but on closer inspection, there’s still so much that hasn’t changed."

Having always been in Rakshasa City, Wu Jingguo naturally didn’t experience any nostalgia, and he straightforwardly said, "Let’s hear your next plan. I’ll see if there’s anything I can do to help."

"You, you’re always so impatient," Liu Limin said with a smile, shaking his head. He paused for a mont before saying, "From today’s interaction with Lin Mo, I feel that I can’t get a read on this person, nor can I guess his thoughts."

"But I don’t believe his words, especially that he has done so much just to be an ordinary person."

"Do you believe such a reason?"

Wu Jingguo didn’t reply directly but pondered for a mont before asking, "If you don’t believe Lin Mo, what do you think is his purpose in doing this?"

Liu Limin indeed had a bold speculation, and after organizing his thoughts, he said, "I think Lin Mo might be a decoy released by Arica, aid to disrupt Grand Xia’s scientific research progress."

"It’s not hard to understand, because even if one could produce blueprints, the creation of a project can’t be completed in a day or two, especially with high-end sophisticated technologies."

"Let give you an example."

"Now, even if Lin Mo produces the blueprints for a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, how do we verify the authenticity of these blueprints?"

"Model calculations would likely take a month or two, but even if the model calculations pass, whether or not it’s actually usable, or if there will be safety hazards during its use, are all unknowns."

"Who knows, there might be a trap laid by Arica hidden within so obscure detail."

"By that ti, it won’t be us in Grand Xia who have reaped a huge benefit, but Arica who would have completely ensnared us."

"Speaking severely, Arica could cause various malfunctions at will, incur massive maintenance and repair costs from us, and even hold Grand Xia’s national fate hostage, affecting the progress of our scientific research."

"These are all issues we must thoroughly consider."

"It’s not being an alarmist, but we should always rember that when Arica was vying for supremacy with Russia, Arica used the so-called space race to completely drag down the whole of Russia."

"We absolutely can’t stumble on this issue."

Liu Limin talked at length, and Wu Jingguo listened very seriously, also adopting this line of thought to work through the problem, until he too realized that such a possibility really did exist.

High-precision and advanced technology represents an extrely high investnt.

If Lin Mo were to suddenly roll out many high-precision, advanced projects, then a massive amount of investnt and a large number of scientists would inevitably be needed.

If all of that was poured into the projects, only to find out later that the blueprints had problems, such a consequence truly would be unbearable for anyone, and one would unequivocally beco the sinner of the nation.

"You’ve considered this very comprehensively."

Even though they were once enemies, Wu Jingguo did not skimp on his praise.

After thinking it over, he added, "So, I think Lin Mo’s issue should be considered separately. After you get the blueprints, you should imdiately return to the Imperial Capital to report, and also inform the Western Warzone about Lin Mo’s prediction today."

"Whether or not sothing big happens tonight, it’s never a bad thing to be more prepared."

"In addition, I will watch over things here in Rakshasa City for you and inform you imdiately if there’s any sign of trouble."

"Even if this is a big ga set up by Arica, they will at least scatter so bait, and this vector engine blueprint could very well be one of many pieces of bait."

Liu Limin did indeed urgently need to return to the Imperial Capital.

Many issues can’t be clearly conveyed over video calls; they must be reported in person to be more accurate and ensure no important details are omitted.

In fact, Liu Limin himself hadn’t expected that in just a few hours upon arrival in Rakshasa City, he would have such significant findings; now returning would also allow him to get a clearer sense of the top brass’s true intentions.

Moreover, the work of validating the vector engine blueprints also needed to begin, which would require the assembly of many experts in the field, particularly top experts in the aerospace sector.

Even with Liu Limin’s distinguished position, so experts and academicians were not ones he could mobilize imdiately; he would need to apply to his superiors.

And if Wu Jingguo were willing to cooperate with him, Liu Limin felt there wouldn’t be much of a problem.

The man had always lived in Rakshasa City, understanding the situation here better than he did, and his abilities were greater, so it made sense for him to take charge of the work.

"Jingguo, let’s do as you suggested," Liu Limin nodded firmly as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders and said, "Before arriving in Rakshasa City, I did feel quite confident, but after eting Lin Mo, that confidence diminished significantly."

"Now with your help, my confidence has returned."

"With your and my combined efforts, if we can handle this matter beautifully, it will be extrely beneficial for and a trendous advantage for the Wu family."

Wu Jingguo didn’t respond, nor did he wish to delve deeper into those matters.

In his wildest dreams, he hadn’t imagined that there would co a day when he would collaborate with Liu Limin, and it still made him sowhat uncomfortable.

However, he understood what ’tis change’, controlling the complex thoughts in his heart.

It fell quiet inside the car.

Both n were separately strategizing their next moves.

The journey wasn’t too long; after just about fifteen minutes, the Coaster bus pulled up in front of the apartnt where Lin Mo used to live.

As orders had been given in advance, the neighborhood was under police lockdown, the corridors were tightly patrolled, and no unauthorized persons could possibly get in.

However, the power of social dia was truly formidable. Though they couldn’t get close, soone sharp enough sensed the news of their arrival at Lin Mo’s forr residence.

A whirlwind of internet buzz was once again ignited.
