rlin sighed and shook his hand casually to let the matter be. He doesn’t want to talk about that anymore.
As long as he wouldn’t get in contact with that crazy man, he was all good.
"Did you get what I asked you for?"
The assistant nodded and gave him a file.
The file had a list of all the orders they had in that week. rlin read each and every order carefully.
He used his finger to trace all the nas and it stopped at a na. He pondered for a while and tapped his finger on that na for a couple of seconds.
"Jim Reed. He looked like he was handling a huge order. Why didn’t I hear about this? He is even using the cargo ship." He softly spoke.
The assistant frowned, "Boss, Isn’t that normal for Mr Reed to get this order? You gave him the responsibility to deal with this client, right?"
"Client?" rlin just looked at the order details earlier and did not notice the client’s na. He now looked at it and frowned. "Mort? I gave Mort to Jim?"
The assistant nodded.
rlin took his phone. It was a new phone. He sighed when he noticed that. The thought of that crazy man from earlier haunted him for a couple of seconds when he saw the new phone.
He sighed and decided to concentrate on the important matters now.
He dialed a number and the person on the other end answered.
"Hey, Mort. I am sorry for disturbing you but I need to confirm sothing from you." rlin greeted Mort and spoke nicely.
"I just noticed that you were interacting with Jim Reed from my company. I wanted to confirm your order once. Can you send an email to my account once? Thank you. Yeah, sure. Let’s have a drink when we et next ti. Mhmm. I think I will co there in two weeks or so. We can et then. Inform the others as well and see who all would be available at that ti. Yeah, okay. Let’s talk later."
After finishing the talk, he hung up on the call.
He couldn’t recall when he had given Mort’s business to Jim Reed to handle.
But since his assistant said that he did, he knows it must be true. But why couldn’t he rember doing such a thing before?
In a couple of minutes, he heard a notification sound and he looked at it. He got the mail from Mort.
He checked the mail and compared it to the details on the file in front of him.
His frown got deeper and deeper as he read.
"What happened, boss? Is sothing wrong with the order?" His assistant couldn’t help but ask him when he saw his expression darken.
rlin scratched his brows and took a deep breath to calm his emotions.
Just like that, he turned into a calm and collected man as he looked at his assistant and nodded, "Yes. Jim is definitely doing sothing behind my back. Anyway, first check his accounts and all his communication data. Give the report as soon as possible. Also, do it discreetly. No one should find out. Do you understand?"
His assistant nodded imdiately, "I understand, Boss."
He imdiately left the office as he knew how important finishing this task was.
Jim was using Mort’s order to do sothing under rlin’s nose. If sothing goes wrong, everything will fall on rlin. How could they let the matter go just like that?

"Boss, here are all the details about Mr Reed." The assistant almost gritted his teeth as he spoke.
Seeing his expression, rlin could already guess what the result could be.
He smiled and took the file before looking into it.
He chuckled, "Just as I expected. Good. Very good."
He saw that Jim Reed got a huge amount of money in his account a few tis in the past month. Even his contacts seed a bit weird.
"Boss, what should we do?" The assistant asked in worry.
It was really a big deal. Jim was using their cargo ship to move drugs. If word gets out, it would fall on rlin and with the amount of drugs, he could completely forget about coming out of prison in this lifeti.
rlin did not look as worried as his assistant. He just smiled, "What’s the hurry for? Relax."
"But, Boss," How could the assistant relax? He was worried for his boss, alright?
"Fine. Relax. Now do as I tell you to," rlin stopped him from speaking further and calmly ordered.
"What is it, Boss?" his ears perked up imdiately when he heard that his boss had so instructions for him.
That would be good to watch!
He was excited.
"Send a ssage secretly to Jim that I am checking him. Warn him to be careful before I could catch sothing," rlin said with a smile.
"Huh? Boss! Why are we warning him now? What if he escapes?" The assistant was once again worried.
"Why are you so worried about everything?" rlin clicked his tongue and continued, "Just do as I say. I am sure he won’t escape."
The assistant pouted but did not say anything. Since his boss was confident, he agreed and left the office.

"I want it to appear as an accident. No one should find anything wrong with his death. Do you understand?"
"Yes. Don’t worry. Except for you and , not a single soul would find out about this. You just wait for the news of his death."
"Good. I want it to be done within four days. It can’t be later than that. I have a huge order after that. He shouldn’t be able to interfere in that order."
"Fine, fine. Four days, it is. Don’t worry and go to sleep. I will take care of this matter."

rlin and his assistant were listening to this recorded conversation in rlin’s office.
"Boss, he actually wanted to kill you?" rlin’s assistant was shocked beyond words at the audacity of the man.
