"What are you doing here? Aren’t you satisfied after what you have done to ? You daddy’s little princess!" Helena mocked Faye as soon as she saw her.

"I didn’t do anything," Faye stomped her legs as soon as she heard Helena’s ’accusations’.

"Oh? You didn’t do anything? Well, that’s true as well. What can you even do? Except for going to your Daddy and crying in front of him? Whatever was done would be done by him." Helena continued her mocking.

"Helena! Did a crazy dog bite you or what? Can’t you listen to what I am saying? Why are you barking like a dog? I already said that I didn’t do anything, and you are still shooting your mouth at ." Faye was angered as well.

She had expected Helena to misunderstand her and bla her before she ca here, but still, she couldn’t accept her accusations just like that.

Vernon and Helena were stunned by her outburst. They looked at each other and then at Faye.

They sighed and cald down.

"Sit down first, and then we can talk," It was Vernon who took the initiative to calm things down between them.

"Yes. Sit down," Helena nodded as well.

"Hmph. I am sitting because Vernon told to. Why would I listen to you? Stop acting like a host in front of ," Faye scoffed but sat on the sofa.

Helena’s lips twitched. "Well, I am not acting, but I really am the host here now. Did you forget that I got married to Vernon?"

She even waved the back of her hand in front of Faye’s face, showing her wedding ring off.

Faye felt the bright diamond ring a bit too dazzling for her eyes. She used her hand to swat Helena’s hand away in disgust as she scolded, "Stop showing it off in front of . Disgusting! So what if you got married? I don’t care. Anyway, I don’t want you to host . That’s all."

She was childish and stubborn.

Helena opened her lips to talk back, but Vernon coughed to interrupt them.

Both the won looked at him in unison.

"Umm, well, I think we should get to the point instead of... whatever you two are doing," Vernon said.

Helena, too, understood that the conversation with Faye might be more important than having a battle of words with her.

Faye cleared her throat and said before Helena could say a word, "Ehem. Anyway, I didn’t do anything. It was my dad’s decision to ’teach’ you a lesson."

"Teach ? For what? For scolding you?" Helena scoffed.

"Of course not, you idiot. How many tis have we fought against each other before? When did my dad ever get involved before this?" Faye scolded Helena, which did not look much like scolding at all.

Helena blinked her eyes. "You are right. Then why did he do it this ti?"

"Think carefully. Whom did you insult yesterday other than ?" Faye hinted instead of giving the direct answer.

Vernon looked at Helena with a questioning gaze.

He wasn’t there when these two young won fought against each other. So, he had no clue as to what had actually happened between them.

Helena looked at him innocently. She did not think she did not anything wrong yesterday.

She looked at Faye doubtfully, trying to see if she was just bluffing to get out of the issue.

But Faye looked back at her seriously, and she also knew that Faye wouldn’t have a reason to just get out of the issue.

She would never pass the ball when she did sothing. She is the type to own up her actions.

So, it must be sothing Helena said. With that thought, Helena fell into a deep thought, recalling every word she said to Faye the day before.

After a long pause, she finally raised her head and looked at Faye in surprise. "You an..."

Faye chuckled, "Looks like you finally understood. Even though you are not as smart as , this is not bad, either. Now, just suffer the consequences for your actions, and I will take my leave."

"What’s going on?" Vernon asked in confusion when he saw how speechless Helena looked.

When facing Faye, she always had sothing or the other to say. This was probably the first ti she did not say anything, which confused Vernon even more.

Faye chuckled, "Do you dare to tell Vernon what happened? Anyway, I will leave it to you ’wife and husband’. I am leaving. Bye bye."

"Wait." Helena stopped her.

"What?"

"You ca all the way here just to tell this?" Helena was confused.

"Yes. If not?" Faye did not think anything was wrong with her actions and asked casually.

"Why?" Helena asked.

"If I didn’t, with your stupid brain, I am sure you would be scolding behind my back that I am my daddy’s little princess. What if I die from coughing with all your cursing? I don’t want to take any chances. So, I ca here to clarify the matter," Faye said seriously.

Vernon and Helena looked at her in shock. They do not know if she was really serious about what she said or not, but her expression said she was dead serious.

"Did you really cough?" Vernon asked hesitantly but also curiously.

He always heard that if soone was talking about soone behind their back, the person would sneeze or cough or choke or whatnot. But he wasn’t sure if that was the truth or not.

Now, he thought that was a good chance to find out if it was true.

After all, Helena really scolded Faye earlier. So, he wanted to know if Faye had any reaction caused by Helena’s words.

Faye looked at Vernon and blinked her eyes. "Are you serious?"

Vernon nodded.

Faye’s lips twitched. Anyway, she shook her head, "Of course not. Maybe she did not scold as seriously as I thought she would. What if she scolds later and I suffer? I don’t want to take any chances."
