Raylan let out a slow breath. "That... is an incredible and insane ability." His expression shifted from shock to pure admiration. "You’re going to beco really powerful, Echo."

Eileen nodded, still looking amazed. "I’ve never seen anything like that before."

Echo couldn’t help but feel proud. He had proven himself.

He wasn’t just so average kid with weak mana. He was different.

He was going to make sothing of himself.

A Day of ditation

After finishing breakfast, Raylan stood up, grabbing his coat.

"I’m heading to the academy now," he said.

Echo looked up at him. "What should I do today?"

Raylan smiled. "I want you to ditate all day."

Echo blinked. "All day?"

Raylan nodded. "Your ability is strong, but you need a solid foundation. ditation will increase your energy reserves. The bigger your reserves, the stronger your skills will beco."

That made sense. His Flying skill barely worked, and his Shatter at a Glance could only break small objects. If he wanted to create stronger skills, he needed more energy.

Echo clenched his fists and nodded. "Alright! I’ll do it!"

Raylan chuckled. "Good. I’ll check on your progress later."

With that, he left for the academy.

A Full Day of Training

Echo went outside to the garden, the sa place where he had ditated before.

He sat down on the grass, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath.

"ditate."

Darkness filled his vision, and then—

The familiar sight of stars in space appeared before him.

Raylan had told him that he needed to connect the stars using a thread of energy. The more he connected, the stronger he would beco.

Focusing his mind, he reached out toward the first star.

It was faint, barely glowing.

But as he extended his energy toward it, the light grew stronger.

Slowly, carefully, he reached for another.

And another.

Bit by bit, he connected them.

Ti passed.

Minutes turned into hours.

Sweat dripped down his forehead, but he refused to stop.

He could feel his energy increasing, even if it was only a little.

He had to keep going.

His body ached. His mind was tired. But still, he persisted.

Until—

Darkness consud his mind.

His body slumped. His breathing slowed.

Finally, after an entire day of ditation—

Echo fell into a deep sleep.

---

A full year had passed

Echo had trained every single day without fail.

At first, progress was slow. ditating for long hours barely made a difference, and his skills remained weak. But Echo never gave up.

He pushed himself beyond his limits, endured exhaustion, and sharpened his focus.

Now, after an entire year of dedication—

He had finally reached the First Realm of Energy: The Boundary Energy Realm.

And today, his family was celebrating.

A Joyous Birthday Celebration

The small wooden house was filled with laughter and warmth. A delicious feast covered the dining table—roasted at, fresh-baked bread, and a steaming pot of vegetable stew.

At the center of it all sat a beautifully decorated birthday cake.

Candles flickered atop the cake as Echo sat between his parents, a wide smile on his face.

Eileen ruffled his hair. "Happy birthday, my little prodigy!"

Raylan laughed, clapping Echo on the back. "Not only is it your birthday, but you’ve officially reached the Boundary Energy Realm! That’s a double reason to celebrate!"

Echo grinned, feeling proud.

Reaching the First Realm wasn’t easy. At tis, it had seed impossible. But now, he could finally sense the energy within him—flowing, moving, and responding to his will.

He had taken his first true step toward power.

Raylan raised a mug. "To Echo! May his strength continue to grow!"

Eileen followed. "To Echo!"

They all laughed and clinked their mugs together, drinking in celebration.

Echo looked at his parents, seeing the happiness in their eyes. He had worked hard, but this mont made it all worth it.

The past year had been tough, but it had also been the best year of his life.

A New Power Awakens

The next morning, Echo stood outside in the garden, eager to test his progress.

For a whole year, his Flying skill had been useless—a failed experint.

But now, things were different.

Taking a deep breath, Echo focused inward, feeling the energy circulating within his body.

It was faint, but it was there.

He bent his knees slightly, gathered his energy, and then—

Pushed.

His body lifted off the ground.

It was subtle at first—only a few inches.

But then, he hovered higher, his feet leaving the earth completely.

He was floating.

Excitent surged through him.

For an entire year, he had only dread of flying.

Now, it was real.

He hovered above the ground for a few seconds, then a full minute.

The longer he focused, the more stable it beca.

After three minutes, his energy wavered, and he slowly descended back to the ground.

Echo landed on his feet, breathing heavily but grinning like a madman.

"It worked... I can fly!"

It wasn’t much, but it was a start.

A True Test of Strength

Echo wasn’t satisfied yet.

Hovering was great, but he wanted to test his Shatter at a Glance again.

Turning toward the small wooden chair near the house, Echo narrowed his eyes.

He had only been able to break small objects before. But now that he had reached the Boundary Energy Realm—

Would his skill be stronger?

He focused.

His eyes locked onto the chair.

"Shatter at a Glance!"

For a brief mont, nothing happened.

Then—

CRACK!

The wooden chair exploded into splinters.

Echo’s heart pounded.

It worked.

Not a tiny crack. Not a small fracture.

He had completely destroyed it.

This was real progress.

A year of hard work had paid off.

His strength was growing. His skills were improving.
