Once again, a surge of divine-level power rippled through the surroundings!

There was no need for introductions.

Lord of Evil Spirits · Rog!

Countless skulls rushed out from the air, ultimately coalescing into a massive figure. Compared to the eerie charm of the Succubus Queen, which commanded the submission of countless subjects, this being that had just descended truly resembled a divine-level demon.

The body ford from innurable bones took on the shape of a giant. With every movent, nurous bones fell to the ground, transforming into wisps of dark mist. Any creature ensnared by this mist was swiftly devoured, their flesh dissipating to beco re skeletons.

Eventually, those skeletons bounced and hopped towards the body of the Lord of Evil Spirits, causing it to grow even larger.

At this mont...

The countless mbers under the Lord of Evil Spirits did not display excitent; instead, they looked increasingly terrified.

"I instructed you to act alongside Lovic, and this is the outco."

The deity spoke each word deliberately, with every syllable infused with thick, gray-black mist. The weapons of countless fallen souls surged towards his subordinates; many had already been consud, their forms rging into the body of the Lord of Evil Spirits.

"Feel the punishnt."

The Lord of Evil Spirits said coldly.

He wasn't directly killing these subordinates; doing so would soon make it impossible for any player demon to dare to reside in his layer of hell.

At that mont, the Lord of Evil Spirits was rely drawing these subordinates into his body to begin torturing them and extracting their power.

After the judgnt was complete, the player demons of the Lord of Evil Spirits faction, who had not been selected, finally felt relief.

"My Lord! You have finally arrived!"

"Welco, my Lord!"

"Please take revenge for Lord Lovic!"

In an instant, they fell to their knees, overwheld with excitent.

The arrival of their revered deity ant that they had been saved.

As for Licitris at this mont... she paid no attention.

Under normal circumstances, wasting power on the followers of another divine-level demon would be unwise; for Licitris, it would be a significant loss.

But at this mont, she simply stared blankly at the returned phistopheles, her face filled with concern, completely unconcerned about the players and demons under the Lord of Evil Spirits.

"Thank goodness! Thank goodness you're okay."

"Using a forced teleportation item is a gamble with your life; why did you have to do that?"

"What did I do to make you want to leave so badly?"

Licitris's tone was gentle.

Sterl was taken aback. Even if the Succubus Queen had ulterior motives toward him, her attitude was surprisingly benevolent. In the past, when Gloria had considered him a fellow mber of the human race on Earth, she had shown him so kindness, but it was nothing compared to the gentleness he was experiencing now.

"I... I just sensed that the Lord of Evil Spirits was about to descend, so I thought it best to lay low for a bit," Sterl said, casually providing an excuse.

Inside, he was even more shocked. He was completely immune to the Succubus Queen's charm abilities, yet he still felt a pang of sympathy from her seemingly hurtful words.

This was the allure of a divine-level being! It was terrifying!

However, before either of them could say much more...

Ahhh!!

A chorus of agonizing screams erupted from within the body of the Lord of Evil Spirits, who then unleashed countless bones that transford into translucent skulls, rushing toward phistopheles to tear at him.

"You killed my general, so you shall pay with your life."

At this mont...

The originally pale-faced players from the Succubus Queen's faction suddenly brightened.

What a twist of fate! The one helping them was actually the respected deity from the faction that was supposed to attack them, the Lord of Evil Spirits.

If phistopheles died, the Succubus Queen wouldn't go so far as to kill them; she might even offer them as sacrifices instead.

Moreover, the emotions of the three sealed Supres were gradually becoming active. If phistopheles were to die...

Then the Queen wouldn't abandon them...

He must die! He absolutely must die!

As for whether the Lord of Evil Spirits' attack would succeed?

The demons and the players from [Swallowing Heaven] were not overly worried about that!

Unless the Succubus Queen was willing to go to war with another god for phistopheles, otherwise, phistopheles was dood!

Surely it couldn't co to that, could it??

Countless thoughts raced through the minds of those present; divine beings wouldn't easily engage in battle with each other, as they all possessed the power to destroy one another. A single misstep could determine the outco of their conflict.

And this ti, the Lord of Evil Spirits had lost his general, Lovic. phistopheles wasn't even under Licitris's command. Would she risk everything to fight with the potentially enraged Lord of Evil Spirits over him?

That would be madness!

Even if the Lord of Evil Spirits was reluctant to fight, there were still three deities from the main world watching closely outside.

For two divine-level demons to swap skills would carry significant risks.

Most "people," with just a little thought, would conclude that Licitris's only viable option was to abandon phistopheles.

She would definitely do that.

Uh... she should do that, right?

After suffering a slap in the face earlier, who could possibly not realize how highly the Succubus Queen valued phistopheles? They dared not assu how Licitris would decide when faced with an attack from the Lord of Evil Spirits.

No! It couldn't be!

Was phistopheles really worth the risk of the Succubus Queen's own downfall?

That was absurd!

However...

Just as countless demons were devouring players in a state of anxiety...

Boom!!

A layer of pale pink mist mixed with purple lightning appeared in front of phistopheles, shattering the skulls released by the Lord of Evil Spirits into fragnts!

The explosive sound was not just the shattering of the Lord of Evil Spirits' skills, but also the breaking of the spirits of the three Supres under Licitris!

The mindset of countless demons and [Swallowing Heaven] players shattered!

Are they serious?

Have they lost their minds??

Licitris was really willing to engage in battle with the Lord of Evil Spirits for phistopheles, ignoring the nacing deities from the main world.

No one could comprehend this!

Earlier, they had fleetingly wondered if the Succubus Queen would stubbornly protect phistopheles, but reason told them it was impossible.

Yet reality was utterly absurd!

On the side of the Lord of Evil Spirits, he too was astonished.

He had long since noticed Licitris's concern for phistopheles, but when he acted earlier, he never expected that the Succubus Queen would truly intervene.

Licitris, he understood well, did not behave like an ordinary demon, easily enraged, but rather acted with considerable strategy.

Lord of Evil Spirits could see clearly that phistopheles had not won Licitris's favor through re talent, but rather through his appearance.

This ant that the Succubus Queen could easily cast him aside.

But now, with the current developnts...

Lord of Evil Spirits watched as Licitris continued to gather the power of the Respectable Position, seemingly eager to take action herself, and he felt a bit of panic.

He knew that the deities from the main world had already set their sights on him.

If he were to engage with Licitris, those three deities would surely co to ambush him.

In a mont of desperation, the Lord of Evil Spirits actually backed down.

"Enough!"

"Enough!"

"Licitris, I think you've truly lost your mind."

"Let's each take a step back. Don't you just want to enjoy phistopheles? Let him take one hit from ."

"That would at least give so closure."

At this mont...

The players under the Lord of Evil Spirits were also stunned.

They were witnessing for the first ti the once-powerful respected deity making a concession.

He even offered a rather generous condition: as a god, he was willing to spare the life of the mortal who had angered him for just one hit.

Although the Lord of Evil Spirits' strike was incredibly terrifying, able to infuse destruction and curse power into phistopheles's body and instantly render the talented genius incapacitated, if the Succubus Queen was willing to spend her Divine Power to gradually expel the Lord of Evil Spirits' influence, phistopheles could return to normal after several decades.

He would, however, suffer greatly during that ti.

It seed that phistopheles would suffer greatly afterward, but considering his situation, he had just killed the first general under the Lord of Evil Spirits and was enjoying a treatnt that amounted to offending a deity to the point of death, yet only delaying his power advancent for a few decades.

In essence, the Lord of Evil Spirits had already let phistopheles off the hook, even if it was due to the urgent circumstances. This was an unprecedented occurrence.

A re mortal killing the most beloved general of a god, a being who might even ascend to divinity in the future, and yet facing no consequences!?

To be honest…

The many demons and players from [Swallowing Heaven] present looked at phistopheles with a mix of awe and envy.

What on earth was happening?

He had acted recklessly, and yet he was favored by the gods. The Lord of Evil Spirits didn't dare to do anything to him…

The players under the Succubus Queen also sighed in relief. If phistopheles was seriously injured later, he probably wouldn't have the ti to execute them, right? At least it seed like the situation was finally coming to an end.

Well, at least they had saved their lives.

However, after the crowd expressed their sentints, their expressions quickly turned strange.

They noticed that Licitris was still standing protectively in front of phistopheles.

Licitris remained resolutely shielding phistopheles.

"Rog, I won't let you touch him."

After saying this, Licitris turned her palm, and radiant light quickly coalesced, ultimately transforming into a pink energy crystal that exploded in all directions!

The Succubus Queen radiated with an Iridescent-Level glow.

She was giving her all!

At this mont, Licitris was not acting purely on impulse; she felt that if the Lord of Evil Spirits were to incapacitate phistopheles, the mysterious allure that phistopheles held for her would diminish significantly.

Licitris had analyzed this allure and suspected it was likely due to the considerable benefits phistopheles provided her!

On top of that, emotionally, Licitris didn't want soone she valued to suffer.

With these factors combined, she made a move that the Lord of Evil Spirits found incomprehensible.

Rog found himself continuously retreating in the face of the exploding crystals.

While Sterl looked utterly bewildered.

After dodging the impact of the crystals a few tis, the Lord of Evil Spirits finally reached his breaking point.

"Alright! Fine!"

"Licitris! I'll rember you!"

His expression darkened, and through his senses, he discovered that the deities from the main world had already made their move, just as Licitris unleashed her full power! Clearly, the three deities had been monitoring everything that was happening here through so mysterious ans for quite so ti.

The Lord of Evil Spirits understood that if he stayed any longer, he risked falling at any mont.
