Awakening: Reincarnating With the SSS-Level Infinite Evolution Talent Chapter 62: Floral Master’s Second Phase, Trio Floral Eater
Now that it was in its [Berserk] state, every single beast the [Floral Master] had summoned instantly went wild.
Their bodies tightened, their petals stiffened, and their movents beca sharper and far more violent.
The entire clearing shifted as dozen monsters suddenly grew stronger at the exact sa ti.
But even with all of that, the [Floral Master] still had one clear, devastating weakness:
It no longer had its [Floral Defender].
Since the special boss could only summon that thing once, it ant it had absolutely no way to stop Karl’s strongest spells anymore.
Which also ant one thing: Karl could finally unload everything he had without holding back.
Storm of Lightning! Frostbite Crystals! Lunar Beam!
He pointed his staff forward and unleashed all three spells at once, flooding the clearing with blinding light.
And he wasn’t alone.
The mont the [Berserk] notification appeared, dozens of other players charged too, screaming, swinging, casting, doing whatever they could to try and push the boss into its next stage.
Even with the other summons now much stronger, the level 50 players grouped around the edges handled them well enough.
They had already been fighting them for over twenty minutes, so they knew how those monsters moved.
Zap! Bam! Fwish! Boom!
-263,280! -15,000! -15,000! -40,000!
Karl alone poured out over 950,000 damage in seconds, especially counting the earlier [Fire teor] that had dealt the bulk of it.
Every new blast landed cleanly now that the [Floral Defender] was gone.
As for the other players...
"Take this!"
Slash!
-4,740!
"Hah, your attack is weak as hell. Watch this."
Fwish! SLASH!
-25,288!
"But you literally used the one skill that boosts your damage by five tis!"
"That’s still one of my basic skills, you idiot!"
Even though they teased each other, all of them contributed so amount of damage.
It just wasn’t anywhere near Karl’s level.
That was why it took entire teams to take bosses like the [Floral Master] down: its 2.5 million HP was way too much for most players.
And until now, everyone had failed because of the [Floral Defender].
If Karl didn’t take it out, the players here would’ve been stuck killing summons forever.
The boss would’ve despawned long before they ever brought its HP to zero.
But now?
Fire teor! Storm of Lightning! Lunar Beam! Frostbite Crystals!
Karl launched everything again.
The spells ripped through the vines covering the boss’s body, causing its HP to fall rapidly until it reached the final chunk of health.
[Floral Master: 495,382/2,500,000]
Its bar was now a tiny strip of crimson.
They were one good burst away from victory.
And then—
Fwish! Ding!
["Floral Master" has entered its second phase.]
"Oh co on!"
"Are you serious?!"
"Hah! Whatever! We got this!"
Even though so players complained, most of them didn’t care.
The mont they saw Karl unleashing that much damage, they knew they were close to victory.
Being with [Oblivion] basically guaranteed success.
What’s interesting was that none of them actually much about Oblivion.
The only things they saw were the global announcents he created.
Which ant they knew he was strong enough to complete so zone in the [Novice Continent] no one knew about.
And more importantly, he was strong enough to conquer the [Moon Tower], sothing nobody had ever done.
But even with that...
Click!
The lantern that acted as the boss’s head flickered rapidly, switching on and off faster and faster until—
It shut down completely.
Then the [Floral Master] raised its massive wooden wand and drew a large circle in the air.
"What the hell’s it doing."
"Be careful!"
That thing had no face except for the lantern, so it was difficult to guess what it was doing.
At that mont though, every single summon still present in the clearing suddenly snapped their heads toward their master at the exact sa ti.
Then... Fwip!
They plunged into the ground, disappearing one by one.
Lines of faint light streaked across the battlefield, like glowing roots traveling through soil, all of them rushing directly toward the space beneath the [Floral Master].
Karl narrowed his eyes.
He couldn’t actually harm the boss since it was in a transition between phases.
Which ant that no damage could harm it until it was done.
All they could do was wait and hope the phase wasn’t much worse, which it obviously would be.
And then all the glowing lines converged at a single point.
BOOM!
The ground exploded upward as the [Floral Master] lifted its wand.
A massive monster surfaced, towering over the clearing.
"HOLY SHIT."
"NOPE! NOPE! NOPE!"
It was a gigantic flower monstrosity with three huge carnivorous heads, each bigger than a car.
Several thick purple vines sprouted from its base, all writhing as if they were alive.
Before anyone could react, three of these vines shot out and grabbed three players.
The heads lunged and swallowed them whole.
Dead. Instantly. No damage numbers, no resistance.
Karl clenched his jaw and imdiately inspected the new creature.
---
[Trio Floral Eater (Level 45)]
[Rank: Legendary (Ultimate Summon)]
[HP: 2,000,000]
[Description: A summon made up of all of the "Floral Master’s" other ones.]
---
The thing positioned itself directly in front of the [Floral Master], blocking the only clear path anyone had to the boss.
All its vines spread out into a massive net that nobody could slip through.
Perfect protection. Too perfect.
’So now we have to kill this thing too, huh?’
Karl exhaled slowly. This battle was getting ridiculous.
But considering this was the region’s special boss, he supposed it made sense.
Every special boss had sothing insane about it.
This one combined every summon into one massive monster.
Karl spun his staff again and pointed it forward.
He planned to hit both targets at once if possible, maybe break the summon and damage the boss at the sa ti.
But then—
Fwoooosh...
A strange sound echoed above the clearing.
It wasn’t a roar. It wasn’t a spell.
It wasn’t even sothing the [Floral Master] could make.
It sounded like a missile.
Karl turned around.
None of the players noticed it, too busy panicking or preparing to strike.
The boss didn’t react either.
But the noise grew louder, sharper, heavier, until the air itself seed to tremble.
Karl’s instincts scread at him to look up. So he did.
And what he saw stunned him.
Divine Fall!
A figure plumted from the sky like a blazing golden cot, wrapped in light so bright it burned the air around it.
It moved impossibly fast, falling straight toward the battlefield.
Karl’s eyes widened.
He didn’t know what the ability was.
But he knew one thing: it was about to hit.
And it was going to hit HARD.
Even though he had a perfect chance to drop a massive combo of spells on the monsters, Karl changed his mind imdiately.
No amount of damage mattered if he ended up dead anyway after all, right?
And so he turned around and sprinted away from the epicenter.
"Huh, looks like Oblivion’s running."
"Maybe the boss is too much for him?"
"Hah! All that damage, but he still doesn’t have any balls—"
Before they could finish mocking Karl, the golden cot crashed into the [Floral Master] and the [Trio Floral Eater].
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
