He set his scrutinizing gaze on the gates.
He saw many symbols on it, so did the others.
Mo Mingzhu, Mao Yue, Chen Yuan, and Tang Yongnian had no idea what these symbols were as this was their first ti seeing them; However, Xie Yang, who had extensive knowledge and had seen many things in his past life, knew what they were and also their effects.
"Did you find anything?" Chen Yuan noticed the smile on his face and thought that he must have found a way to cross this hurdle.
Xie Yang turned towards Chen Yuan with a wonderful smile and an all-knowing look on his face. The cutie, Mo Mingzhu, felt replenished when she saw his smile. She knew he was handso and that his facial features were comparable to the best n of her sect, but with a smile, he looked ten tis handso.
Xie Yang gave him a nod.
"These seven symbols are hidden chanisms that will activate after we fill their tank. What to use to fill it? It's our spiritual energy!"
They released spiritual energy from their bodies and directed it into the seven symbols simultaneously. After devouring ten to twenty units, they released a magical light that made the entire gate glow.
The magical light made that apparent which they couldn't see before.
Xie Yang saw many spiritual locks on each side of the gate. He also noticed the baffled and embarrassed look that Chen Yuan and his sect mbers revealed when they saw the spiritual waves. The spiritual locks were what kept the gates locked all this ti. They were foolish to try to force it open without undoing the damn locks. They felt embarrassed thinking about what they were doing a while ago.
Except for Xie Yang, none had adequate control over their spiritual energy.
They couldn't shape their spiritual energy into keys that would fit in the holes of the locks.
Though, Xie Yang was able to do it!
One by one, he unlocked all the fourteen locks that sealed the movent of the gates.
Then, Xie Yang pressed his hand on the gate and gave a slight push, and under the hopeful eyes of the crowd, the gate creaked open.
Behind the gate was a vast room.
Many luminous stones embedded in the walls and ceiling illuminated the room.
Most of the fluorescent light coming out of them fell on a single spot where stood a towering creature.
It was a 4-ter tall skeleton, and it had two bony wings and a scythe in its hand.
Its empty eye sockets experienced a change when Xie Yang, Chen Yuan, and the rest of the mbers of the black unicorn sect entered the room.
A black fire, the size of a small finger, appeared in its eyes, glowing fiercely.
"I have waited a long ti for preys to co to my chambers. What luck! Today, not only four but five humans managed to co all the way here at the sa ti. Human flesh, I haven't had this delicacy in months. I nearly have forgotten what humans taste like, but I feel not sad, for I will savor each and every one of you tonight.
And while sinking my fingers into your flesh and digging out your innards and putting them in my mouth, I will remind myself of the joy of eating humans alive as you scream your lungs out in terror and pain! Hahaha!"
Xie Yang's eyes widened, then narrowed!
He had never t a talkative set on bones like the one in front of him.
He found the words that it was spewing out of its mouth disgusting.
The others also didn't like hearing a single one of its words.
Its voice was more like a howl that would make one's ears bleed, and they found it totally unpleasant to hear.
While it was spewing out nonsense like a true villain, Xie Yang lifted his hands, stretched out the forefinger of his right hand, and pointed it towards the stupid sets of bones, who stood at the opposite him and couldn't stop laughing.
He disturbed its laugh by creating and shooting a spiritual energy bullet towards its gaping mouth.
Bam!
That resounding reverberations just echoed in the room when Chen Yuan saw a blue bullet the size of a fingernail blasted through the air, going into the tall skeleton's mouth and smashing the back of its throat.
It opened its mouth to say sothing, but before it could utter even a word, the sound of bone cracking echoed out of its neck.
Crack~
It found out that a spider cobweb-like crack had appeared on the biggest bone of its neck, and that crack spread outwards to the other bones!
God damn it!
It silently cursed under its breath!
