In the past, Lord Xie Yang would spend most of his days lying on the bed like a dead fish. The maids, servants, and guards knew that he was always ill and sickly and that he never had the energy to move out of his bed. They never believed that a day would co when they would see him walking on his two feet. But today, they were in for a surprise.

Lord Xie Yang walked around the manor and ca across many familiar faces. So of them were the manor's guard; others were the servant, and the last ones were the maids. All of them had a different reaction when they saw him full of vitality and pacing around, ordering them to do this and that.

So of them were happy; so so shocked that their eyes widened like saucers; so gaped and stared at the sight of the pleased young lord walking on his feet speechlessly. A few guards went to inform Lord Xie Yong about the fantastic news of his son becoming healthy enough to walk!

anwhile, Lord Xie Yang returned to his room with many maids. Each of them was holding a freshly cooked dish in their hand. So of them were his favorite mortal food. There was roasted duck, dumplings, nourishing ginger soup, oily wheat sticks, many types of sweets, and so on. He was so hungry that instead of wanting only to have breakfast, he wanted to eat dinner and breakfast at the sa ti.

"Place them on the table and go out." Lord Xie Yang said to the maids.

"As you command, third young lord."

The maids placed the plates and dishes on the table before going out of the room. Left inside it were Lord Xie Yang and his wife.

Lin Hua wanted to go to the table, but it was impossible for her to do that. Her wheelchair was too far away, and no maid was to help her. The food would get cold soon as the morning of winter was also cold. She started deliberating about what to do. Should she ask her husband to help her, or should she try to reach her hands out and see if they can grab the edge of the wheelchair?

While she was busy thinking that with a head held low and eyes staring at the blanket, Lord Xie Yang stepped up to her without making a noise.

He saw that she was lost in thoughts even though the sll of various dishes was thick in the air and she was hungry. He couldn't help but ask, "What are you thinking about?"

She was startled by his enigmatic voice. Lord Xie Yang had a deep, husky voice, good enough to seduce the hearts of anyone who hears it, and that included her too. The tips of her ears turned red as she raised her head to look at him.

She hesitated for a mont before saying, "C-Can you pull my wheelchair next to ?"

Lord Xie Yang didn't like what she said.

"Why do you need that when I am here?" He asked, appearing calm and majestic. His words were like an imperial command that urged the hearer to give a response.

Lin Hua didn't understand him, and she confusedly blinked her pretty eyes at him.

"Lord Husband, what do you an?" She asked.

"What I an is this."

Lord Xie Yang used his actions to explain what he ant. He pulled the blanket away from her. Then, he put one around her back and the other around her knees and lifted her in a princess carry. He did everything so smoothly that Lin Hua didn't have the ti to yelp like any other girl.

"When I am with you, I will be your legs." Lord Xie Yang said to his woman who had buried her head in his chest. "Do you understand?"

His words made her imnsely happy! She always feared that her husband would not be kind to her because of her disability. People like her were bound to be an annoyance to others that she knew too well. But Lord Xie Yang quickly dispelled what she feared the most with his actions, making her heartbeat increase for him.

She felt herself liking her husband more and more!

"Lord Husband, Lin Hua understands." She nodded into his chest. She hid her face because she could feel it burning hot, aning it was red as an apple. She didn't want to show him this face, show him how embarrassed and happy she was feeling at the mont.

He didn't need to see her face to tell her feelings. Her heartbeat and red ears, too enticing to his eyes, told him what she was thinking and feeling.

He put her down next to the table and sat beside her.

Lin Hua saw various dishes decorating the table, and her mouth started salivating. Before, breakfast usually consisted of congee. She and her mother weren't treated well by her father and second mother, so they had never had a good breakfast like this one.

"Umm, will we be able to eat so much?" Lin Hua asked her dear husband.

Lord Xie Yang patted her head and said, "Don't worry, none of it would go to waste."

His body was too weak. He had to eat a lot every day to develop muscles and height. That's why he personally went out and ordered the chef to send a lot of food his way.

They both started eating after saying a few words of prayers, saying how thankful they were to be eating this food.

Lord Xie Yang started with a few sips of soup. Once his throat was no longer dry, he ate the at, veggies, and dumplings. He ate so fast that it seed as if he had died hungry in his previous life!

Lin Hua was more refined as her mother had taught her she that should act more lady-like when eating with her husband.

Her mother had taught her a lot of other things too.

The first was that she should not let desires get the best of her. The second was that she should always act gracefully, even when eating so that her husband would find her pleasing to his eyes. The third was that she should do her best to satisfy him in life and the bed.

Since they were having a al, she exercised the second of her mother's teaching to the best.
