His inability to get subordinate indicated that he was a failure as a space pirate!
Elliot turned down any thoughts of coming aboard his spaceship.
He didn't want a failure as his captain!
"You are an extrely infamous space pirate, right?" Elliot used while giving him a look that exposed he was wondering whether it was true or not.
Karim puffed out his chest and said, "Yes, my na echoes throughout the galaxies. Everyone knows how great I am. I even have a hundred million spirit point bounty on my head!"
He was acting as if it was sothing great to be on the blacklist of multiple civilizations!
"Then, why does your crew consist of only two?"
Karim sighed and then showed Elliot the picture of a woman who he considered the love of his life."
"This bastard backstabbed and made lose a huge part of my fortune and also all my people." He said.
Karim's biggest regret was trusting a woman. She was actually a spy who got close to him when he barely made a na for himself. After getting a chance, she not only bewitched his crew to commit a mutiny but also took away his things, did a considerable amount of damage to his spaceship, and leaked many of his secrets to the outside world. He wasn't as bad as a guy compared to other space pirates. He had never looted innocent people, raped, or committed mass murders. At worst, he only had stolen things from the rich and gave them to the ones who the rich people wronged to beco wealthy.
But then why was the bounty on his head so great?
Well, after Helena leaked his secrets, everyone ca to find out about the treasures in his possession, and for the sake of acquiring them, they painted him as black as they could.
They painted him so black that he could even block out the sun and cause a solar eclipse!
Elliot heard his sob story and felt sorry for the lad.
Not only did Karim lose the love of his life, his people, his treasures, but he also had to deal with feeling betrayed while getting hunted down by different races.
"Well, did you get your revenge?" He asked.
Karim shook his head and said, "I once captured her and tried to kill her but couldn't. I let go but then regretted it. I still want revenge, so I am looking for a galactic assassin to get her killed soon." He said, a vicious look appearing in his teary eyes.
Who said a man couldn't feel emotions?
He was indeed feeling them, a lot of them!
"I am not a contract killer, though." Elliot said jokingly, "Mr. Infamous Space pirate, you're at the wrong table."
"I know you aren't but who sad you can not beco one now? I will take you destroying the picture as killing her." Karim played along with him and said, "You'll never co across a mission as easy as this, trust ."
"Well, you're in luck! That's sothing I can do and don't mind doing."
Elliot turned the mixture of his beloved woman into ten thousand pieces. It happened so fast that Karim couldn't even protect it.
"Did you just use the interdiate-stage of the demonic ranked technique, energy radiation?!"
"You've good eyesight."
Elliot's words confird that that was what he just used to destroy the picture.
"Join my crew!" Karim wanted him, now for sure. "This ti, I am looking for people who are strong and as talented as in their own fields! Although I only have a navigator and , my crew is still better than ten thousand others. I am super strong. And my navigator is also one of the best drivers in the universe, which I can confidently say. With soone as talented as you onboard, we can aim to beco the best!"
"No, I am not interested in boarding soone else's ship," Elliot said, quelling Karim's excitent in an instant.
Even if Elliot wanted to beco a space pirate, he would not join another crew but make his own!
"Don't be in a hurry to refuse." Karim said, "Give an answer the next ti we et."
Elliot replied, "We probably won't be eting again, and even if we did, it would be after a very long ti."
The only thing they would be doing was contacting each other's from worlds apart and sharing information. There was no need to make such a good relationship even more stronger; at least, Elliot didn't feel the need to get closer to Karim.
"I don't think that will happen! I will head straight to you after leaving this place." Karim said I hope you've a better answer ready by the ti I co to pick you up."
Elliot: What if I still say "no"?
"I will threaten or even coerce you into joining ."
"You sure about that?" Elliot gave him a threatening look that chilled him to the bones. But Karim, in the end, was a Subli Emperor. So, he didn't tremble and imdiately cald down. He thought to himself that it would be pretty shaful to feel fear from the gaze of a person who wasn't even an emperor!!
He could tell that Elliot wasn't an emperor or even a king because he couldn't sense his kingdom!
Karim said, "hah, hah, hah, don't look at like that; I am a pirate after all. Doing and saying evil things is my forte."
Elliot didn't have much to say, so he stood up and went out of the second floor.
"Wait, where are you going?"
Karim chased after him and asked why he was in such a hurry.
"Back to my world."
Elliot got what he ca here for, so it was ti to return ho.
"At least tell where it is?" Karim blocked his oath and asked.
"It's up to you to find out, Mr. Most Infamous Pirate!" Elliot said as he slipped past Karim.
"Ah, what a cheeky bastard." Karim said, "With him on board, life would be more fun!"
Elliot had already walked up to the librarian by then.
