After lunch, Tian Xiang took a stroll outside with ng Cheng’an, and then they returned to the team.

Although there was no rehearsal in the afternoon, there was still a lot of preparation work to be done.

As soon as she got back, she unexpectedly ran into Tian Chuying at the entrance of the makeup room.

Their eyes t, both were stunned for a mont, and then Tian Chuying was the first to smile, "Sister, you have a performance. Earlier, I heard this was the Drama College’s makeup room, so I went in to look, but didn’t find you."

Tian Xiang: "I just happened to go out for sothing."

Tian Chuying nodded and pointed to the office at the end of the corridor, "I was assigned here by the university as a volunteer. If you need any help, you can find there."

Tian Xiang nodded, "Okay, I know."

Tian Chuying smiled, thought for a mont, and added, "Sister, Lu Feng is also coming today, you saw the program list, right?"

Tian Xiang nodded.

This ti Lu Feng is still representing his university, and he will be presenting flowers to the award winners in the evening.

Tian Chuying: "Sister, there’s sothing I feel I should ntion to you."

The two of them went to the corridor nearby.

Tian Xiang: "Go ahead."

Tian Chuying: "That day, on the train, do you still rember?"

Tian Chuying quickly recounted how Lu Feng deliberately went to see Tian Xiang that night on the train.

"At that ti, your partner ng Cheng’an was also awake. With him guarding, nothing happened. I don’t know if you knew about this but thought I should tell you.

Of course, maybe I overthought it. He might have just been going to the restroom, or sothing else."

Tian Chuying couldn’t assert it fully without evidence.

Tian Xiang: "Alright, I get it. Thanks."

Tian Chuying nodded and quickly walked away.

Tian Xiang breathed a sigh of relief, trusting Tian Chuying’s words; after all, Lu Feng is now an antagonist and might do anything.

It was probably when ng Cheng’an covered her with a blanket; she woke up but thought nothing of it.

...

On the other side.

Tian Chuying returned to the lounge and had just taken a sip of water when two people arrived outside. Turning her head, she saw it was Lu Feng.

Just a mont ago, they were talking about him, and now they suddenly faced each other, causing Tian Chuying’s heart to skip a beat as she quietly turned her gaze away.

Lu Feng also noticed her, and with a cold smile, pretended not to recognize her, chatting briefly with two volunteers from his university before leaving quickly.

After Lu Feng left, he didn’t head directly to the resting room arranged for him by the organizers; instead, he swept his gaze back and forth at the makeup room doors on both sides.

Soon, he found the makeup room with the big letters "Drama College" on it.

Having looked at the program sheet, he knew she would co to participate in the performance.

So, she should be inside at this mont!

He really wanted to push the door open and take a look. After a month without seeing her, he wondered if she had changed at all; he missed her quite a bit.

Lu Feng took a deep breath, aware he had no reason to go in, yet unwilling to leave just like that, so he stood silently outside the door, his foot sliding on the ground.

Not long after, soone ca from the corridor.

Wearing a yellow dress and makeup, Chang Wan approached and asked, "Comrade, what are you doing here?"

A man standing clandestinely in front of a girl’s makeup room didn’t seem like a good person.

Lu Feng was staring at his toes when soone suddenly spoke behind him. He turned to see an elegantly dressed, pretty woman standing behind him.

This person was clearly a Drama College student, possibly even a classmate of Tian Xiang.

Lu Feng slightly curled his lips, sowhat embarrassed as he asked, "This is the Drama College’s makeup room, right? Sorry, I wanted to ask if Pang iqi is inside, I wanted to get her autograph."

Pang iqi was a talented woman from the Drama College, beautiful and had acted in films as a child. She often published literary works in newspapers and magazines and was the previous campus belle of the Drama College.

Chang Wan scoffed, "You like her?"

Lu Feng corrected, "I like the roles she plays."

Pang iqi was a renowned figure at the Drama College, with many admirers, which was nothing unusual.

Chang Wan chuckled again, "If you like her, then you should know she’s already graduated. Your feelings seem quite shallow."

Lu Feng was taken aback, a bit embarrassed as he said, "I really didn’t know that. I just watched her movie and thought she might be inside so I ca to have a look."

Chang Wan didn’t think further, "Alright, she’s not here, you should leave."

Lu Feng, however, took out a notebook and pen, a bit embarrassed as he said to Chang Wan, "Why don’t you sign an autograph for instead?"

Chang Wan: "..."

Once again, she scrutinized the man in front of her, wearing a suit provided by the event organizers, indicating he likely had a role in a program, and sported silver-rimd glasses, giving a cultured appearance.

She hadn’t paid much attention before, but now, upon a closer look, he appeared quite handso.

Though not as attractive as ng Cheng’an, he wasn’t far behind.

Chang Wan suddenly took an interest and asked with a smile, "Why? Have you already stopped liking Pang iqi?"

Lu Feng showed a bashful look, "I don’t know why, but upon seeing you, it’s as if the poems and characters I’ve written ca to life. It’s indescribable. Can you please sign one for ?"

Poems, characters?

Seems like he’s a cultured person too.

Flattered by a man who once admired the campus belle, Chang Wan’s vanity was greatly satisfied. She accepted the notebook and pen from Lu Feng and signed for him.

Lu Feng looked at it, smiling with pure sunshine, "Chang Wan, thank you, nice to et you. I’m Lu Feng from Normal College, not far from your Drama College."

After saying that, Lu Feng waved his hand and went directly upstairs.

His resting room was upstairs.

Chang Wan watched his departing direction and smiled as well.

Lu Feng, quite interesting.

...

After returning to the team, Tian Xiang hadn’t co out again and hadn’t seen ng Cheng’an since.

As the program was about to start, she looked out from the side of the backstage and spotted the old man in the audience.

The old man sat in the middle of the second row, the best spot in the venue.

ng Cheng’an wasn’t beside him, but in the third row, holding a bouquet of flowers, sitting with ng Xiuyuan.

ng Xiuyuan ca too!

Tian Xiang didn’t know before; it was rare for this father and son to appear together.

Soon, the evening show began.

At first, there were various speeches and award presentations.

After that, ca the cultural evening.

When the university representatives went on stage to present flowers, Tian Xiang saw Lu Feng and was about to step back when Chang Wan ca over, unusually wearing a warm smile.

Considering this person prided herself on her wealthy family background and generally looked down on others, often carrying an air of arrogance, that smile always seed to hide a blade.

Tian Xiang found it sowhat strange and followed Chang Wan’s gaze only to see Lu Feng looking in this direction too.

This ti, he wasn’t looking at her, but at Chang Wan beside her.

Tian Xiang lowered her eyes.

So, these two antagonists know each other?

This is not a good sign!
