Ruthlyn turned to face him, forgetting about Raymond for a mont.

"Is he planning to take her back to the estate?" she asked.

"I’m not sure. He would not suggest that the tutor co over here to teach her, right? He should know Ethan wouldn’t allow it," Enoch replied, trudging along the living room to walk into the kitchen.

Ruthlyn followed him, her brows knitted in deep thought.

"Who’s the tutor he suggested?"

"He didn’t tell yet..." Enoch was replying when his phone gave a ping sound of notification. He removed the device from his pocket and switched it on to read the ssage, when his eyes widened before quickly returning to their normal size.

"What’s wrong?" Ruthlyn who noticed that subtle action, was quick to ask.

"The tutor," Enoch whispered, looking up from his phone to Ruthlyn’s face, "Is Elizabeth Anderson. Can you imagine?"

"The sa Elizabeth Anderson that we all know or a different person? Why would she be the tutor?" Ruthlyn questioned.

"That’s not all," Enoch continued, "He says due to the unsafe status of the ga Estate for now, she has to stay here all through the duration she would teach Esther for. Are we thinking of the sa thing now?"

Ruthlyn nodded, "Don’t tell he’s trying to set Ethan up with her."

"That’s what it seems to ," Enoch replied. "After all according to him, she is just as beautiful as Shikera and more healthy and useful. Apparently, Shikera would not have that much use for Ethan, or even be compatible with him."

"No matter what he says, we can’t allow Elizabeth Anderson here or we will be the one to bear the brunt if Ethan cos ho. How do we stop Chairman DeLoach from bringing her here?" Ruthlyn asked, her fingers moving upwards to massage her temple.

Enoch simply sighed and laid his head down on the kitchen table.

"Let’s do one at a ti, Ruth. We should visit Lady Preston and Mr Lane today first before thinking about this," he replied, looking around the building for any sign of Raymond or Cyprian. "By the way, where’s Ray and Miss Leigh?" he asked, on catching no sight of them.

"In a fight; and it seems serious," Ruthlyn replied, before adding, "I will advice you not to cross Raymond for this period until we get to know the reason why they are fighting. Let’s go get ready to visit Preston."

She walked out of the kitchen, a spring in her footsteps as she began conducting a mock interview for both Lady Preston and Andrew Lane in her head.

"Vincent! Is that you?"

"You could give another na and I’ll gladly accept it, Victor," as he replied, Ethan turned to face the person who was speaking to him. The man was wearing black clothes identical to that which Ethan was wearing, with the sa logo ’J’ embroidered on their left breast area.

"It really is you!" The man nad Victor exclaid, evidently shocked to see Ethan in this place.

"As I just told you," Ethan deadpanned, his gave moving from Victor to wander about the area. He was currently in an empty casino which was built underground, right at the very center of the city, not far from Anderson corporation. Just as he guessed, the Jordans had changed their base and moved from the outskirts of the city to the center of the city, and he was sure all this was to avoid him finding them.

"Wa—wait! What are you doing here?! Or tell how you got here first? Uh?!" Victor asked with high pitched voice, hoping that the others in this hideout would be alerted that sothing was happening outside.

"Where are the others and how did you move here?" Ethan asked back, ignoring Victor’s questions. The casino was empty, aning this was no business organization but just an hideout.

"Why should I answer you if you don’t want to do the sa?"

"Because you don’t want to et the sa fate your sister t?" Ethan guessed. He took slow steps and began walking around the long hall, touching each and every table he walked past, and picking up the abandoned chips scattered on it.

Victor ran up to him, "We haven’t seen Erica since we sent her after Eleanor Jordan. Did you do sothing to her?!" he yelled, horror expressed in his eyes.

Ethan had that sa look mirrored in his eyes at the last na Victor muttered.

"Who is Eleanor Jordan?" he asked.

Victor backed away from him, frowning defiantly.

"You know the rules, Vincent Jordan. If you want to get any information from , you have to let go of so too. You up for exchanging info?"

"Alright," Ethan replied without hesitating. Just like the Jordans renad in with his middle na as Vincent Jordan, he feared Shikera was the one being addressed as Eleanor Jordan. But that was simply shit, right? There was no reason why they would rena Shikera.

Ethan continued speaking after Victor began to relax that he had agreed, "But not without seeing everyone here. All of the Jordans."

Victor laughed, mockery lacing his voice.

"You don’t want that, Vince. It’s a different world here, and you are different from us. You don’t expect to leave here alive if every mber of the Jordans are summoned back for you."

Ethan shrugged nonchalantly. "Why would that happen? Isn’t it beyond sothing to celebrate about that Vincent Jordan ca back? And to think of all the troubles I went through just to find you all," he lanted sarcastically.

"It’s your call then. I was trying to warn you as a long ti brother but now that you are refusing, I will call them then," Victor chuckled. With his eyes fixed on Ethan, he back stepped until he got to the door nearest to him.

He knocked on the door thrice and a click sound ca, showing that the door had been opened from inside.

"Be prepared, Vincent Jordan."
