Seconds and minutes passed, the once noisy alley filled with curses suddenly beca quiet and still.
*WHOOSH
*WHOOSH
"D*mn! There are so many of them, like flies," the gang leader cursed as he spewed fireballs in all directions.
Unbeknownst to him, [Frankenstein] ran towards him with clenched fists like a charging bull ready to ram its prey.
Seeing [Frankenstein] erge from behind the crowd of [Sli], the gang leader’s eyes narrowed in fear.
The leader could only cross his arms in front of his chest to reduce the impact of the collision.
However, [Frankenstein]’s punch was no ordinary punch. As if hit by a large truck, the gang leader was thrown out of the alley in a horrific condition. Both his arms were crushed beyond recognition and blood was pouring from his nose and mouth.
"KYAAA!"
"What happened?!"
The appearance of the gang leader in a horrific condition caused panic among the people in the market.
"Cough cough," the gang leader coughed, spitting out a mouthful of fresh red blood.
In the alley, I pulled the [Shadow] back into my shadow and walked towards the gang leader who was still lying weakly on the ground.
Although I was only 5 years old or my body size was still as small as a child, it didn’t make people underestimate .
This is the aning of life as a nobleman.
Being born a nobleman ans there is a responsibility you need to beat from birth.
You can’t live life like a normal human.
I then stood over the body of the gang leader with my hands gripping a dagger.
The gang leader beneath my feet was already lying weakly and his eyes that looked at were filled with fear.
The gang leader stretched out his hand and muttered a magic spell. However, a mont later his eyes, filled with disbelief, stared at .
"W-what are you doing?! Why can’t I use magic?!" he asked weakly.
"Just think about it yourself," I replied, raising the dagger in my hand.
"You... can’t kill . Your image as a nobleman... will be ruined," the gang leader said weakly.
My image is ruined, you say?
My image in the future will definitely be ruined.
What’s the difference between being ruined now and later?
If I ruin it now, it won’t affect much.
"You’re wrong. I dare. A man must be brave," I said flatly and stabbed his skull with all my might.
Fresh red blood splattered on my face as I stabbed his skull.
"Phew," I muttered in relief.
It seems this was the first murder I had committed since arriving in this world.
Although this was my first murder, I didn’t feel the slightest bit of disgust, nausea, or fear.
However, this is not over yet.
My journey is still long and many lives will be harvested by my own hands in the future.
I then got up and saw everyone looking at in fear.
Van Black... It seems I’m starting to understand a little how you felt in my novel.
The eyes of all the people who look at you negatively.
It feels strange.
Among the crowd, I could see Sebastian and the other soldiers.
It seems they were watching what I had just done.
I then turned to Arthur who was still standing still in the alley and looking at with a look of admiration.
However, it’s natural for Arthur to express himself like that.
In the original novel, the reason Arthur was famous in the [Cult of Gehenna] was because of his loyalty and psychopathic nature.
"Let’s go," I said to Arthur.
We both finally walked towards the crowd.
As we passed, they all unconsciously made way for the two of us.

Van and Arthur finally left the place where they t and rejoined Sebastian.
"Young Master, are you alright?" Sebastian asked.
"Yes, I’m fine," Van replied.
"And him?" Sebastian asked, confused, noticing Arthur, who was dirty, ragged, and shabby, standing behind Van.
"Arthur. My servant and personal knight," Van said flatly, then entered the carriage.
’A guard? A child that small?’ Sebastian thought, confused, as he watched Van enter the carriage.
After a short journey, Van and the others finally arrived back at the Black family mansion.
As they got out of the carriage, Arthur stood still in place.
His gaze was completely focused on the large, luxurious, and magnificent Black family mansion.
"What’s wrong, Arthur?" Van asked, standing beside Arthur.
"Nothing," Arthur replied.
"Impressive, right? Be patient. One day, you’ll have one like this," Van said calmly as he walked inside.
As they reached the front yard of the mansion, all the soldiers’ eyes were on Van.
Every eye was focused on Van with fear and anxiety.
"Why are you staring at ?" Van asked flatly.
His red eyes glead slightly, and the effect of [Void Eye] was imdiately activated.
The faces of the soldiers changed slightly as they realized they couldn’t access [Mana] at all.
"Pathetic. You’re scared just because you see a child who has just killed," Van said with a hint of disdain in his voice.
"They’re so weak. It’s so easy for them to be frightened," Arthur comnted, standing behind Van as he observed the soldiers’ fearful expressions.
"They’re just people who want to live in peace. Soone who grows up in a harsh world and soone who grows up in a beautiful world will certainly have different views," Van said as he walked forward.
"So what about you, Master?" Arthur asked, curious.
"? I didn’t grow up in a harsh world, but I grew up in a harsh fate," Van said and continued walking into the mansion.
"Fate?" Arthur murmured, intrigued.

Nightfall ca, and it was ti for dinner at the Black family residence.
Van walked down the corridor inside the mansion toward the dining room.
Along the way, Van encountered several servants and soldiers on guard.
However, their expressions were all the sa when they t Van.
The expression of fear, as though seeing a demon.
’If I were them, I would probably do the sa,’ Van thought as he saw so servants walking quickly after passing him.
Van finally arrived at the entrance of the dining room, which stood five ters tall, made from special tal, and decorated with dieval-style architecture, adorned with gold and jewels.
Van could vaguely feel various runes on the door.
’What a truly wealthy family. Even the dining room door is lined with jewels and special runes,’ Van thought.
